Spirit Communication Tips

Since I just opened my spirit companion shop recently, I wanted to share some tips for you guys! These tips will generally help in connecting with unbound spirits, but can be useful in spirit communication with companions as well!

Things to keep in mind before doing any sort of spirit work:

  1. Believe in yourself, belief holds power
  2. Let go of doubt, stop worrying about accuracy
  3. Your intent holds incredible power, be aware of it
  4. Feel and sense first, analyse last
  5. Release all expectations of what will happen
  6. Release all tension and preconceived notions
  7. Balance your energy, empty your mind
  8. Research personality ties of colours/elements/etc
  9. Don’t rely on divination, especially not at first

As for the communication with a spirit:

  1. Find your intent for spirit communication. Attempt to picture it in your mind, try to perceive it the best way you can. It does not need to be anything specific, but what you think is what you invite, more or less. Understand well what you want to draw to you, and make sure you don’t let your mind wander while you are doing this. If you wish to communicate with a companion, picture them, their energy, and what you want out of the communication with them.
  2. You can also create a visual space in your mind to have your conversation in. This is more along the lines of astral travel, but you will receive the same sort of impressions, it just might appear more fluid. Typically this takes a lot more focus though and you’ll miss out on impressions outside of visual impressions. I don’t suggest this for communicating with a spirit that you are unfamiliar with.
  3. Associate your intent with something physical. If you want to communicate with a spirit that is emotionally forward, you will probably want a spirit of the water element. Having a cup or bowl of water will assist in drawing a spirit of that nature to you by giving them another medium. Be as creative as you wish with this, whatever physically expresses your desire for spirit communication will do. In the case of a spirit companion, this will suffice as an offering or a gift to them!
  4. Contact can come through in small pieces, or large chucks of information, and is often garbled and hard to process. Let the information come to you but don’t process it as it does. Also be patient! When just starting out you might only get the impression of a colour, or a feeling! Do not be discouraged.
  5. Spirit communication can happen by request, but it can also happen quite randomly. Always be aware that a spirit can communicate with you at any time, if for whatever reason they are drawn to the activity you are doing, or your energy.
  6. Some contact may seem insignificant, but don’t dismiss any impressions, even if they are simply of a certain colour or smell, they most always have a deeper meaning
  7. Contact may be visual, audible, or sensory, don’t dismiss the medium of communication either. It can be a combination of all of the above, or even just one of the above.
  8. Contact might not be triggered when you expect it to! Even a change in the weather, or a song on the radio can pave the path to having an impression or contact from a spirit. If you’re not seeing results, spice things up a bit, try a slightly different approach!
  9. Go with your first thought of belief, don’t second guess or question anything, not yet anyway. Feel and sense first.
  10. Pay attention to patterns and coincidence! Having a good understanding of mathematical probability will help you distinguish when a spirit is influencing your environment and when they are not. This is particularly useful during divination! I always know a spirit isn’t communicating with me, or is not at a good energy level to communicate because the results are random and don’t follow a pattern that makes sense. So I think it is important to keep an eye out for patterns and coincidence in your life, even though it is not directly obvious as communication, it is.
  11. Write it all down, don’t think about it just write down everything that comes to mind, scribble all the impressions that come to you no matter how much sense they make at the time. They’re all puzzle pieces to a puzzle that you’ll process later, might be months later. Do not dismiss anything as not spirit contact if that is the first thing that comes to mind. You do not need to confirm it, just write it down! If it becomes a pattern that is your confirmation.
  12. Hold off on divination until you have experienced impressions from a spirit, and have some understanding of their energy and a pattern of their behaviour. When starting to confirm your spirit communication with divination, ask questions you already know the answer to! It will take time to channel the spirit through a reading, so don’t ask hard questions until you see a pattern of accurate results. I wish it was as simple as just doing a reading with a spirit you don’t know, but it takes familiarity for an extremely accurate reading.
  13. Practice all of this often, even if you don’t get results, results and better accuracy come with time. It takes a considerable amount of energy to receive information from a spirit, which only comes with practice and becoming accustomed to doing so.

I hope this assists at least some of you in your spirit work and with your companions! Don’t forget that my ask box is always open, no matter how silly your question might seem!

Help Please (Not About Money)

Assalaamu ala al-Muslimin
Hello y'all

I’ll try to make this as short as possible. Here’s a quick summary to why I need help. This is kind of unnecessary so you can scroll down if you don’t want to read.

In 2014 I took the university exam and got into a university, studying the subject I admired for long years (psychology), and I was really happy because it was a little too hard for me to achieve this goal for some reasons. Anyway, at the end of the second year/grade I was on the verge of depression™ mainly because of:

•Islamophobic and irresponsible teachers (almost all of them)
•Unrespectful and irresponsible classmates
•Unrespectful dorm mates

So, I decided that I can’t go on anymore and I should quit. This year was gonna be my 3rd year in university but I suspended it (not really sure if that’s what you call it in English. I’m still a student of that university but I didn’t attend classes for one year). Now I’m about to take another exam for university which, by Allah the Greatest’s help, will help me with these things:

•Studying in a better university
•Not having to struggle with money because I will get a good scholarship
Living away from my abusers
•Getting closer to my future dreams (which is being a neuroscientist and helping+educating people not only about neuroscience but also about life in general)
•Getting a job (well this part is not really clear, but which one of them is 100% sure to happen right?)

Now, what I need help for is, maths.
Yes maths. Due to some reasons (one of which is economical reasons) I couldn’t acquire any maths classes. It has been some years since I last studied math, plus now I need to study it in English. My English is not bad, and I’m not that bad in maths either. I just need someone who can help me out. I only got like 7 subjects to study, not so advanced mathematics.

So if you think you can write some notes down about mathematics for me, in a clear and easy way, and help me with the problems I can’t solve, please send me an ask or a message. I’m not asking for anything big, you obviously don’t need to be a teacher. Meanwhile I will try to find online sources and study myself too but I need someone who I can ask questions. Also I couldn’t find any sources which are easy to understand. So it would be nice if you sent me some.

I’m not asking for Skype lessons or something like that, and I obviously can’t give you any money but once in a while I can doodle a flower or a piece of cake for you if you want.

About two months are left before the exam, and I couldn’t study any mathematics so far. So if you signal boosted this even if you can’t help yourself I’d be thankful.

I’ll write the subjects here. I have more details I can send you if you are interested:
1. Numbers and expressions
2. Quadratic functions
3. Figures and measurements
4. The number of possible outcomes and probability
5. Properties of integers
6. Properties of figures

Even if you can't help me with all of them, some is also fine. I don’t know if I’ll be able to learn all of these in such a short time to be honest… But there’s always hope.

Lastly, please make dua/pray for me. May Allah the Greatest makes our struggles easy for us.

Thank you.

  • me: ok. ok. you have to remember how to do basic math
  • me: okay but lets think about how there are infinitely many infinitesimals just as there are infinitely many infinitely large numbers in the hyperreals... lets spend some time and prove that
  • me: shit fuck i did it again, okay back to remembering how to do basic math
  • me: okay but did you ever stop to think about how cool the hyperreals are
  • me: OKAY BUT I NEED TO STUDY.

[Day 5/100 Days of Productivity]
Wow I am not great at this challenge. I did math notes ‘cause we got a quiz soon and a test next week.
Tbh I’m just very sleepy right now, I need a nap. BUT on the bright side, my grandmother is coming over from India for awhile :)

30.10.17 | early morning maths basic methods study session before heading to my uni lecture for today. I’m really tired, but i need to get into math again if i wanna pass these tests in february. Sigh. Gonna be so much fun…😬

My first day of school was yesterday and I had more than 2 hours of homework…send help! Good news: my teachers are good, I have friends in my classes, and more importantly, in my lunch. Here’s a picture of my math homework (not pictured: me freaking out because I legit forgot everything over the summer)

//

anyone have any thoughts on how to approach this problem? It’s been giving me a hard time for the past couple days (”You have attempted this problem 32 times” RIP)…it’s only the d2f/dx2 that I cannot figure out for the life of me. Any help/thoughts/input would be so appreciated!!!!!!

I’m just gonna’ fuckin say it, I completed all major requirements for a sociology degree right, and let me tell you I learned fucking nothing about people and society. Absolutely nothing.

I learned more about how the world works having my transcripts frozen and being forced to confront the reality of it.

Why have I suddenly radicalized and rebranded the blog? Because I’m no longer being fed liberal propaganda that was taught at my university lmao.

I’m still literally shit, don’t get me wrong, but I’ve definitely got a better grasp of things than I did while in school “learning.” I’m still learning, as will always be the case, but I’m learning far better things than what was course material.

Face it, our university system is hardly about learning, and innovation and creativity, and exploration of knowledge, etc. … and more about paying for a better job. tbh..

Studying mathematics was actually more helpful to me in understanding capitalism and ableism as systems of oppression, than sociology tbh.

Like if you’re doing a sociology degree thats cool and all, but be really wary of what they teach you tbh.

This is where learning mathematics was really influential to me … learning mathematics basically taught me not to take anyone at their word but instead find a way to prove everything to yourself.

If it can’t be proven to yourself, and you can see no way for it to exist or be true, then … you can disregard it and work on a NEW THEORY in replacement, or figure out what in particular is wrong with the previous theory.

Not to gush about math, but it really is about everything being fake until you make it ~real~ lmao. Like you can just sit at your table and invent math if you really wanted to, you just make definitions, and prove those definitions in your invented universe. It’s pretty cool.

not to say you can just invent how society works, but you can definitely become more critical of other’s opinions of how things work within reason and within your own boundaries.

Maybe I was a bad sociology student? But I got all A’s in every sociology course I ever took so like, Idk yall, I’m just saying be wary.

Hi! I'm about to pursue a degree in mathematics. Throughout high school, the farthest I got in math courses was AP Calculus AB. I was good in class, and enjoyed the subject, I'm just worried that I don't have an adequate mathematical foundation to go through this curriculum. I'm enrolled to take Calc. I in the fall, and my question is: At this point in my education, will my background or my ambition matter more? Because I'm willing to work as hard as I have to.

Colleges don’t expect high school students to know any math further than calculus, if even that.

As for background vs. ambition: From what you’re saying, you’ll do great. I’ve said it over and over, the best way to be good at math is to work hard at it. Practice beats talent any day.

Though background/foundation does matter some; math classes build on previous math classes. If you don’t know algebra, you won’t be able to do calculus. But many things you’ll either remember because you’re using them, or forget because you’re not using them so you don’t need to know them anyway. And if you forget, say, partial fraction decomposition (bane of my existence I stg) you can always look it up.

Basically, if you don’t have an adequate foundation you’ll figure it out pretty quick because you’ll find something you should know how to do, but don’t. When that happens (and it always happens, the question is just how often) your textbook, wolfram alpha, and google are your friends (just don’t plagiarize it’ll only screw you in the long run).

I hope that answered your question! If not, my inbox is open.
