It wasn’t often that Roslyn found herself pondering over how her life would have been without Matt. She’d think back to when she was a kid, when she’d met him—skittish Rosey-Posey and her sister Ariana. Both of them were pitied, and yet none of them knew anything other than the fact that Ariana was sick, and that Roslyn was just… the extra parts. They didn’t know what Ariana was like. They didn’t know that she was practically a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
See, Matt, at this point in time, was her only stable ground—had she not met him, she probably would’ve gone insane sooner, rather than later.
