I cannot tell you how many M*A*S*H reruns I watched growing up. Every day after school, I’d go home and flip to the Hallmark channel and indulge in the shenanigans of the 4077th. The characters were practically like my second family - when they laughed, I laughed; when they cried, I cried; when they mourned, I mourned with them. Such a fantastic show… ah, nostalgia. I even have Colonel Sherman T. Potter’s name plate sitting on my desk at school (supposedly it’s one of the real ones used on set)!
I wanted to pay homage to the 4077th and I’m sure you’ll see more of it on my nails in the future! For now I settled with the red cross logo and some lacing (from one of those godforsaken tents lol).
Colors Used: China Glaze Westside Warrior, Orly Red Flare, Essie Penny Talk, Sinful Colors Black on Black, Essie Little Brown Dress, Essie Matte About You
This mani is another image from the new set of MASH Nails image plates that I have.
I used Sally Hansen Dorian Grey (yeah, I’m a nerd and I’m so pleased to have found that on eBay) and for stamping I used Man Glaze Fuggen Ugly.
Again, I wanted to use polishes that I have never been able to with other image plates and I had absolutely no problem picking up the Man Glaze (that’s what she said) with the stamper. Also, check out that hidden holo that popped up on my thumb!
Color me throughly impressed with MASH’s nail plates.
