Cilevata di scudi per la scuola pubblica Gli studenti sono scesi nuovamente in piazza al fianco dei professori in sciopero per chiedere ancora, come accade ormai da mesi, una riforma del sistema scolastico e la gratuità dell'istruzione. La marcia, che ha visto sfilare oltre 50mila persone per le strade di Santiago, è stata segnata da scontri fra polizia e manifestanti. Secondo Actualidad, sarebbero stati arrestati 50 studenti e feriti 14 agenti.

L’ex presidente del Cile, Michelle Bachelet, che si è candidato anche per le prossime elezioni del 17 novembre, ha già fatto sapere che cercherà di venire incontro alle richieste che arrivano dal mondo della scuola, tra cui l’istruzione universitaria gratuita.
