mark twain library

John’s occasionally tearful lecture on Kurt Vonnegut, Twain, and rivers at the Indianapolis Public Library.

I helped one of my colleagues with some research for a blog post yesterday. This meant looking at some cool items from the collection like letters from Leonard Cohen (who wrote some great letters in the 60’s if the ones we have are anything to go by), Charles Dickens, Mark Twain (aka Samuel Clemens), a great letter from Oscar Wilde where he talks about Dorian Gray, and a ticket to Charles Darwin’s funeral.
