older Miles is a bit of an ass, complete with snide remarks, a perpetual bad mood, and of course, more lying. he almost reminds me of Felix but more obnoxious. he still has a huge crush on Adrienne though that has only gotten worse over the years. only her bright sunshine behavior seems to bring out the softer side of him

Stingray Feeding Time

  • Rays: As is custom with our peoples, we must grant the provider of nomz a splash in the face
  • Me: Really, no, that's not necessa-
  • Rays: WE MUST. DO. THE SPLASHY SPLASH!!!

The Battle of Peleliu, codenamed ‘Operation Stalemate II’

Concept:

The Ryder twins are not ~Super Fans~ of Shepard.  Shepard hates the little shits with every fiber of her being.  Alec Ryder was one of the instructors when Shepard got N7 training, and brought along his kids while they were on summer break or something.  The daily runs were led by the Ryder twins on an ATV.  All these buff Alliance marines covered in rivers of sweat and blood had to run 8374584320 kilometers while these 11-year-olds blasted an airhorn in their faces, catcalled them, and pelted them with bits of stale bread.

If Shepard ever sees them again, she’s gonna throttle them.

US Marines take cover behind a shīsā in Tomori, during the final days of the Battle of Okinawa. A Shīsā is a traditional Ryukyuan decoration resembling a cross between a lion and a dog, from Okinawan mythology. Shisa are wards, believed to protect from some evils. Often found in pairs, the left shisa traditionally has a closed mouth, the right one an open mouth. The open mouth wards off evil spirits, and the closed mouth keeps good spirits in.
