I’m not a fan of the musical Nine, but holy bejesus! Just look at these gorgeous, talented, perfect ladies in the cast. Plus Jett Pangan as Guido Contini to add to that. I’m excited to know who the rest of the cast are. I was honestly not enthusiastic about going to see this when I first heard they’re doing it, but to be able to witness these amazing people do beautiful art together onstage is a reason to watch all on itself!

Too many shows next year! I’m gonna be so broke. I hope it rains money.

Me and the Queen of Philippine musical theater, Ms. Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, who plays Diana Goodman in Next to Normal Manila.

I watched Atlantis’ production of Next To Normal again last night with my awesome friends. To say that it’s an incredible show is an understatement. It’s something that you’d want to see over and over and over again eventhough it drains all the happiness in your body and shatters your heart into pieces. The cast (Led by Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo and Jett Pangan, Bea Garcia, Felix Rivera, Jake Macapagal, and Markki Stroem) were pure geniuses, and the band was great.

I’m so happy that they brought N2N to Manila, and I’m so proud to have seen this piece of musical theater with an all-Filipino cast doing an amazing job portraying the characters :’)

Top: With Maestro Gerard Salonga! | Bottom: Gleeky photo with the funny Bituin Escalante!

Watched FILMharmoniKA with Chiara and Ching. It’s a concert by one of our best orchestras, FILharmoniKA conducted by the awesome Gerard Salonga. The orchestra was amazing, as well as their special guest, Bituin Escalante. We were seated front row and we were literally and figuratively blown away!

Watched CTE’s production of Love, Loss, and what I Wore starring five amazing women: Bituin Escalante, Cathy Azanza-Dy, Jay Valencia Glorioso, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, and Teresa Herrera. It was such a simple yet extremely enjoyable show filled with fun monologues every girl can relate with in a way or another. Mad props to the five women who lovingly shared with us stories of love, loss, and well, what they wore :) The show closes tomorrow. Be sure to catch it if you haven’t yet!
