It’s been a hot minute since I’ve written a blog post. I blame it on work, trying to do everything on my Fall “Bucket List” and the ease that is Instagram. None the less, I intend to step my blogging game up.
I knew that this Asos dress was destined for my closet the second I saw it! I love all the details, from the cutout to the black panels. Throw this number on with a faux fur shawl and these Lane Bryant boots and this bad boy is holiday ready.
This is the last of my outfit posts from Paris. I came across this sweatshirt in the Netherlands and loved how creepy and odd the eyes were. Interestingly enough, while in Paris ALL eyes were on us. My stepsister is 6'4 and I’m 6'3… So, us walking down the street did turn quite a few heads!
Yesterday I arrived in Aachen, Germany, where my dad lives, to celebrate my him tying the knot. I had originally planned to wear heels with this outfit, however, once I heard that we would be walking 1.3 kilometers after the ceremony to the reception I knew it was time to whip out my trusty Barefoot Tess boots.
Recently Barefoot Tess merged into Long Tall Sally and I’m excited to see what amazing things come from this partnership! As a size 13 in women’s shoes it is always AMAZING when I find a place that not only provides shoes in my size but that are also not orthopedics. Not only do they carry up to size 15 shoes, they also have wide widths and wide calf boots which is clutch for the fall! I also love that these knee high boots actually come up to my knee and not the middle of my calf like usual - If you’re tall you MUST check out Long Tall Sally and Barefoot Tess!
Ever since I was a little girl I had a fascination with Paris. I remember making goal lists with my mom as a kid and “Visit Paris” was always top of the page. Lucky for me, Paris is a short train ride away from where my dad lives in Germany so I just had to seize the opportunity.
Once I was in Paris, I threw this Fashion To Figure dress on and went to a cafe where I enjoyed a delicious croissant before heading out to explore!
