You're my home/Part 3

Warnings: Reader is a young single mom. Sad conversation(?) and i guess a little (just a little) bit of smut…

Notes: Here it is the 3 part, i hope you like it! Sorry for not posting it Saturday, i had to finish some details that took more time than i imagined. The girl in the gif is Paige from Scorpion, and she’s a waitress but unfortunately, the gif don’t show her uniform. -Sigh- Anyways, i will probably post the requests next week, because i’m having tests in my school. -Sigh-(Again). Wish me luck…

Part 1 Part 2

“She was crazy, man, I’m telling you!” Misha said talking about one fan that went in his photo Op. This was the last day of convention in that city, and in the morning, they would have to travel to another one. Everybody was laughing while they were in Cliff’s car to go to a restaurant.

“Okay guys, but we still need to decide where we’re going.” Cliff said and immediately, something came up in Jensen’s mind.

“What about that pasta restaurant that (Y/n) also told us about yesterday?” He suggested and everybody, expect for Misha, smirked. “What?” Jensen asked when he saw the clever smile on everyone’s faces. “You’re like fucking teenagers!"

"Nobody told me this story!” Misha argued and Jensen rolled his eyes, he felt like he was back in college.

“(Y/N) was this fan that we met yesterday, she has a daughter, and we offered her to stay in the backstage because the little girl was sleepy and grumpy. Jensen was totally crushing on her.” Jared explained making Jensen roll his eyes again.

“Hmmm.” Misha said with a giant smirk making everyone laugh.

“So we’re going to the pasta one?” Cliff asked and they all nodded. This night, only Misha, Cliff, Gen, Jared and Jensen decided to go have dinner outside of the hotel, everybody else was tired and didn’t want to come.

“Be good to your nonna okay, Tom? I love you.” Gen said in the phone to her little son, who stayed with Gen’s mom for the weekend. “Okay, I will pass it to him.” She said looking at Jared. “He wants to talk to you.” She said giving the phone to her husband.

“Talking about kids, you and Vicky are trying again, right Misha?” Cliff asked to Misha when they got out of the car, entering the cozy restaurant.

“Yeah… Vicky is pretty excited about having another kid.” He said smiling and Jensen suddenly felt dislocated. This wasn’t the first time he felt this. Everyone talking about their children and well… everyone having someone to make kids with. He was the one who always wanted kids. He usually didn’t fell like this, but when a situation like that happened, he couldn’t stop himself from thinking. He hadn’t had anything serious with someone since his last girlfriend cheated on him. Nothing he wanted to remember.

“What do you want J?” Jared asked when they all were already in the table, with the menu in their hands.

“I think I’ll go to with the spaghetti.” He said and Jared nodded calling for a waitress, apparently everyone had already chosen it and he hadn’t even noticed. They talked about random stuff when waited for the food.

“I will go to the bathroom again.” Gen said seeming a little annoyed while getting up. “I hate this part of pregnancy.” She said and everybody laughed.

“I’m excited for the next convention, it is going to be really big.” Jared said looking at some fan messages in his phone and all men agreed.

“C'mon, lets take a picture.” Misha said taking his phone out of the pocket. They smiled and Gen arrived seconds later after the photo was taken.

“You won’t believe what just happened!” She said excited and Jensen frowned, she was looking specifically at him. “I was getting out of the bathroom and I found (Y/N)!” She said smiling and Jensen felt his heart beat faster. What the fuck? “Apparently she’s a waitress here.”

“(Y/N) as in ‘the fan Jensen was crushing on’?” Misha asked before Jensen could even open his mouth.

“In the flesh.” Gen said. “Coincidence? I don’t think so."

"C'mon guys.” Jensen said with a small laugh seeing his friends open smirks and malicious faces. “She was the one who suggested this place, is it really that surprising that she works here?” He said not really believing his words.

“Yeah, actually.” Jared said “I will look for her, and maybe, this time, our dumb friend here will have the courage to ask for her number.” Jared continued messing with Jensen, who just rolled his eyes.

“Oh don’t worry, I already called her.” Gen said smiling. “She said that she needed to finish serving a table and then she would come here to say hi.” She said when the orders arrived.

They quickly changed the subject, but Jensen started to get anxious. He really wanted to see you again, like, really. He cursed himself the entire day for not getting your number last night. He was single, he had the right to ask a beautiful girl out, didn’t he? Jared noticed how his friend was a little off all day long, and he mentally swore that he would find a way to get in contact with you, for Jensen. But now he wouldn’t need to, you were there! This certainly was not a coincidence.

“(Y/N)!” Jared said suddenly looking behind Jensen, who slowly turned around and sighed upon seeing you smiling and being hugged by Jared and Cliff. You were in the restaurant uniform, with a high ponytail. Jensen stood up smiling and hesitated for a moment before pulling you in for a hug.

Of course, you just melted in his arms. You just couldn’t believe you got to see all those guys again, especially Jensen. You were really scared for a second, thinking this could be a dream. This was probably the best thing that ever happened to you. After Lottie.

“We don’t know each other, but I have already heard a lot about you.” Misha said opening his arms to you, and you started to fangirl again, you didn’t see him yesterday, which was a shame because he was one of your favorite characters.

“Heard a lot about me…?” You said with a small laugh after separating from him, not really paying much attention to this. You had just hugged the cast again, and Misha Collins for the first time, so you were still a little awed.

“After all, we came here because of your suggestion.” Jensen said with a smile before his friends could open their big mouths to say that Jensen couldn’t stop thinking about you.

“And are you guys enjoying it?” You said seeing that they were still eating they orders, smiling when they nodded and started to praise the place. “I’m glad then! Hm…I will let you guys eat, it was a pleasure to see you guys again.” You said waving a goodbye and turning around. Jensen didn’t even see his friends’ faces before getting up and holding your arm to stop you. You turned around a little confused, but felt your heart explode when you saw that it was Jensen.

“What time does your shift end?” He asked and you raised your eyebrows.

“In an hour and a half.” You answered and he smiled softly. “Why?”

“If you don’t mind, I would like to wait for you, and maybe we can talk for a bit.” He said and your world simply stopped. Wait, what? Jensen Ackles was asking you out? Really? You?

“Hm… Yeah, I would like that.” You said still a little lost and finding it hard to process what just happened. He smiled like he was relieved and you couldn’t stop yourself from smiling too.

“Great, then I will be in the table waiting for you.” He said and you nodded. He came back to the table, and to his surprise, nobody asked anything or even stopped what they were talking about when he sat again. Good for him.
Dinner ended surprisingly fast, after lots of talking and laughing. The restaurant was practically empty by now, and although Jensen said that they could go rest, Misha decided to stay and wait for you with him. Jared and Gen had to go because Gen was starting to get nauseous, another symptom of pregnancy she hated, and Cliff took them to the hotel.

“So she has a 3 year old daughter?” Misha asked. When the others left, he wanted to know more about the girl that made his friend finally ask a girl out again. Jensen was a little, hm…how could he put it? Traumatized after his last serious relationship.

“Yeah, she’s the cutest thing.” Jensen answered with a smile. But before they could continue, you got out of the kitchen, stopping in front of their table. You changed the uniform for your normal clothes, and even though you were just in dark jeans and a blue shirt, Jensen thought you were beautiful.

Cliché? Maybe. Whatever.

“Hey.” Jensen said smiling, getting up. “You’re ready to go?” He asked and you nodded with a smile.

“Okay guys, i will take an uber to the hotel, you want a ride somewhere?” Misha asked while he unlocked his phone and you twisted your lip.

“My house is literaly behind the restaurant.” You said already a little scared that Jensen would want to cancel the ‘date’. Every guy that you dated in the past was gone the minute they learned you had a daughter. Okay, Jensen already knew about Lottie, but you couldn’t avoid that feeling. “And I have to go home, because Lottie is staying with my neighbor, and she’s crying… I just have to put her in bed and then we can talk. Is that okay?” You asked a little anxious and Jensen smiled.

“Definitely.” He said and you sighed, relieved. “Let’s go?”

“Well, I hope you have fun, my uber arrived.” Misha said waving and heading in a different direction. You and Jensen turned to each other, smiling as he extended his arm to you. You twined you arm with his and started walking away from the restaurant and in the direction of your apartment.

“You didn’t mention that you worked in the restaurant.” Jensen said looking at you with a small smile, and you were trying your best to act normal and ignore the fact that Jensen Ackles was going to your house.

“It didn’t really matter yesterday.” You said struggling and continued. “I mean, I didn’t actually think that you would go to the second restaurant suggestion I gave you.”

“Why wouldn’t I? We loved that sushi one yesterday, and I don’t even like sushi” He said and you opened your mouth in indignation.

“What? Sushi is the best food ever!” You cried opening the door to the little building you lived in. It had just four floors and two apartments each.

“Oh… I didn’t think it was that close to your house” he said when you entered the lobby.

“I told you.” You said with a smile while clicking the number '2’ in the elevator. "But really, how can you not like sushi?“ You asked and he laughed struggling.

"I guess I don’t like eating things that are alive.” He joked and you giggled rolling your eyes. The elevator stopped in your floor, and he followed you to your neighbor’s door.

“This is just gonna take one second.” You said and he nodded, you knocked on the door and after a few seconds Mrs. Alba appeared, a sweet old woman that took care of Lottie when you couldn’t. Mostly just after seven o'clock, the time she arrived from her work at her flower shop.

“Hey (Y/N)! And…. Well, I’ve never seen you around.” She said with a smile to Jensen, that copied her action.

“I’m Jensen, I’m (Y/N)’s….” He hesitated a second, looking at you and you twisted your lip not knowing what to say. What could you possibly say? He’s my favorite actor? “Friend.”

“Oh, pleasure to meet you.” She said shaking his hand and turning to you. “Lottie is already sleeping, she got tired.”

“Oh….” You said and Jensen noticed how your face fell. He imagined how it must be hard for you, working so hard that you couldn’t even put your 3 year old daughter in bed.

And he was completely right.

“Okay, I will get her.” You said entering the house with Jensen behind you.

“You want me to carry her?” He asked when you stopped in front of the sofa she was sleeping in, hugging a teddy bear.

“No, it’s okay.” You said a little surprised and in love with how sweet he was. “If you can hold my purse…”

He immediately took it out of your arm, watching you gently lifting Lottie and putting her in your arms, her head on your shoulder.

“Thank you so much, good night Mrs. Alba” You said and after a “no problem, good night.”, you got out of her apartment.

“Make yourself at home, I will just put Lottie in her room.” You said when you entered your apartment, disappearing into a corridor. He put your purse in the sofa and looked around. It wasn’t big, but it was wide and cozy. It was a nice place to live. After a few minutes you came back without Lottie and you smiled at each other.

“She’s okay?” He asked pointing at the corridor and you nodded entering your open kitchen.

“Yeah, she’s a heavy sleeper. Lucky me.” You said with a little laugh and he laughed too. “Wine?” You asked lifting a bottle.

“Course.” You put the wine in two glasses, extending one to him, and you two went to sit on your balcony. You two started to talk about everything and anything, and after a while, he seemed like an old friend and not your favorite actor, who by fate’s weird ways was in your house on a Saturday night. He told you so many things about his life, his career, his fears, cravings, and well…

“I really though she was the one. All my friends were getting married… Hell, Genevieve was already pregnant. I wanted that, you know?” He said talking his last girlfriend and you nodded. “I wanted a family with her, and she just… Cheated. Except from the long distance, nothing was wrong in our relationship."

"But shouldn’t you be relieved for not having started a family with her? Imagine how hard it would’ve been going through a break up with kids, how hard it would’ve been if you were married.” You said and he gave a small relieved laugh.

“Yeah, I always think about this. I was blind with…. I think it was pure lust. I was in a rush, because all my friends were starting their families and I wasn’t. I was in love with the idea, not with her.” He said seriously. “She wasn’t a good person. I thank god for not having proposed.”

“You did right Jensen.” You said squeezing his hand, which was already too close of yours. “I made this mistake once.” You said referring to the fact that you had Lottie with a despicable man. “And I learned that this stuff… No matter how old you are, just do it with someone you are one hundred percent sure you want to spend the rest of your life with, someone you know won’t let you down.” You said and your looks connected and this time, he was the one who squeezed your hand.

“You didn’t talk about that part of your life, and I understand if you don’t want to. I don’t know what happened, but I just wanted to tell you… You’re fucking amazing.” He said so intensely that you didn’t doubt his words for even a second. “You didn’t have any support, and raised a kid at the age of nineteen.” He said what you had already told him and you opened a shy smile, making him smile more. “You’re amazing.” He repeated, this time in a lower voice, and suddenly your faces were just inches apart. His hand was on your cheek, and the glasses of wine were left forgotten in the little table.

You took a deep breath before he gently pulled your face and glued your lips together. The kiss started slow and you were just… Exploring each other. But after minutes, with no warning, the kiss started to grow hotter, and before you knew it you were sitting on his lap, your hands on his scruff. His large hands were squeezing your thighs, and his teeth bitting your lower lip. You could feel the bulge in his pants brushing in your center and when his right hand entered your shirt and squeezed your breast, you couldn’t help the moan. He started to kiss your neck and you began to do circular movements with your hips, making him moan. He was about to lift your shirt when you suddenly backed away with a concentrated face.

He frowned and you looked at him and sighed, leaving him more confused than ever.

“Three…” You started. “Two…”

“Mommy!” A little voice screamed somewhere inside the house, and you two gave a small laugh with the interruption.

“I didn’t listen to anything!” He said a little surprised and you struggled, giving him one last chaste kiss before getting up.

“It’s my job listen to her steps.” You said smiling before entering the house. He smiled when he thought about what had just happened, but frowned when he looked at the sky and saw the…sun? He quickly got his phone and saw that it was already five in the morning. Fuck. His flight was at 8.

He entered the apartment, seeing Lottie lying on the sofa watching a cartoon and you in the kitchen with a baby bottle in your hands.

“(Y/N), I didn’t realize it was already morning, my flight leaves in a few hours…” Jensen said to you and you gave him a yellow smile.

“Yeah, of course.” You said putting the bottle in the sink and going in the direction of the door.

“I wish I could stay for a few more days.” He said, a little guilty that he was leaving that way. You told him about the lame excuses the guys gave you to leave because of your daughter. He surely wasn’t doing that. But he knew you were thinking that about him. “(Y/N)…”

“Thank you for tonight, Jensen. I had a lot of fun.” You said opening the door, not even looking at his face. He sighed and squeezed your hand.

“Me too. I have your number now, I will call you.” He said stepping out of your apartment, remembering a moment in the night when you got each other’s number. “I mean it.” And for the first time in a long time, he really meant it. You weren’t just a one night stand for him. He didn’t want you to be just a one night stand.

You smiled, still not believing his words. Could he blame you? This was what always happened to you. For god’s sake, he was a millionaire actor, of course he wouldn’t be different. You were the fan of the night.

At least you thought so.

“Take care.” And with that, you closed the door. And for a weird and undeniably cliche reason, he went to the hotel with his heart small and the thought that he really didn’t want to leave your small and cozy apartment. He really didn’t want to leave you.

For those ships not only Bughead but Cole/Lili as well.

What if Cole and Lili were together in real life?

Lili has known from the very beginning to not let the hate comments bother her. She knew that clearly when she signed up for this. Her life isnt exactly private anymore since it was announced that she was going to be in Riverdale. Even from the very beginning, her manager already informed her that there will be haters and different mixed opinions, she knew that but that doesnt mean that it still couldnt get to her.

“Oh god, this is getting way outta hand.” She murmured when she found twenty more hate comments that was she was tagged in.

Ewwww b*ghead sucks. @lilireinheart @colesprouse

THEY DONT HAVE CHEMISTRY! Please dont let them be endgame! @riverdale @lilireinheart

There were alot more hate comments much worse than what she has read, some were saying she wasnt pretty enough for Cole so thats why they aint got chemistry, some were just downright hateful towards their team up which made her feel very upset and confused.

Lili scrolled down, as much as it upsets her, it seems like she could not stop reading. She was so engrossed with what she has reading that she did not notice someone coming in her house.

She yelped when she felt someone wrap their arms around her waist but immediately relaxed when she turned to see who it was.

“Damn it Cole, you scared me.” She exhaled, placing a hand over her heart which was beating like crazy.

The raven haired actor smirked and gave her a small kiss on the nose, noting how cute she looked.

“What ya doin?” Cole asked when he noticed her holding her phone.

Lili realising that she still had her twitter opened, she locked her phone and threw it on a sofa nearby.

“Nothing.” Lili denied but did not sound convincing enough for Cole to believe her.

“ I could read you like a book Lil so quit lying and tell me whats going in that that pretty head of yours.”

Using his hands, he grabbed her waist and turned her towards him making their bodies pressed against each other and placed his hands on the small of her back.

She knew better than to lie to him so she took deep breaths before looking into his green eyes and placing her hands on his chest.

“I-I have been reading some comments in twitter and-” she silenced by Cole immediately knowing what it was all about.

“Baby, what did I tell you about reading those tweets?”

She looked down sheepishly, “To not.”

Lili heard him sigh and used his fingers to lift her chin up and look him in the eye.

“There are always going to be hate on the internet everywhere. We cant let it affect us.”

Lili wanted to argue, “But the fans, they dont want us to be together on screen. They’re sending us so much hate-”

“And most of them are also sending us love. Seriously have you checked your tumblr or instagram lately?” Cole chucked but continued.

“Don’t focus on the people who do nothing but hate and appreciate those who appreciates our work.”

Lili knew that Cole was right, “Yeah you’re right. I’m just a little overwhelmed but yes I’ll focus more on the positive feedbacks.”

Cole smiled and gave her a kiss which made Lili’s toes curl and felt him whisper against her lips, “I missed you.”

She smiled and pulled away from him, “Missed you more. How was the road trip with KJ?”

He laughed, “It was fun but I had to cut it early. Couldnt stand being away from you for too long.”

Lili blushed. Sometimes she wishes that they could announce their relationship in public so she could show the world how much she loved this man but she knew that it would seem unprofessional in their parts and it wouldnt sit well with most of the fans plus both wanted to keep things as private as possible though they got to be more careful since someone already saw them in the movies once. For now they would happily stay in their little bubble.

That night, Lili agreed for Cole to stay overnight since he was clearly exhausted from the road trip. She changed into her comfy Pjs and gave Cole a clean shirt of his and his boxer shorts which he made sure to leave some of his clothes just incase he was going to stay over.

Both her in the verge of falling asleep when Lili suddenly had a thought, “What if Jughead and Betty aren’t endgame?”

Cole, still feeling drowsy, answered his girlfriend, “We dont know *yawns* what will happen with their story. They’re good for each other and I hope that they are but-”

Cole paused and smiled, “In case they werent, at least you and I are.”

“What?” Lili smiled obviously knowing the answer but she still wanted to hear it from him.

She feels him tighten his arms around her, securing her safely while her head laid against his chest. He plants a soft kiss on her forehead.

I know im trash but I couldnt help it. Literally just wrote this in the train. Just humor me why dont you?

Of all the words in the plethora of words known to man, Betty would have never thought she would use that specific word to describe her life right now. But no amount of words that came to mind could possibly describe it better than that – her life was perfect.

7 years had past since the events of her teenage years – since her life was on the edge of a blade and she danced with darkness more times than she liked to. After her trip to the hospital and court hearings, Betty finally went back to school, soon after graduating top of her class – valedictorian obviously – alongside Archie and Veronica. Jughead had graduated a year later, having to repeat due to absences and lack of good grades. But once they were all done high school, it was a collective agreement to attend college together.

So they all applied, and got accepted to NYU; Betty and Jughead with the English majors, Archie on a sports scholarship with a minor in Music, and Veronica majored in Fashion design. After long conversations with parents, tons of planning, and house-hunting, the 4 set off for the city that never sleeps (or was that Paris?) They moved into a slightly larger apartment relatively close to the campus, adorned with two huge bedrooms located on opposite sides of the space - “for privacy sake” Veronica had said, a coy smile on her lips. The large common area had 4 desks, one of which was huge – Veronica clearly stating she needed a big one for her designs. Betty was solely in charge of cooking for the 4 of them, whilst Jughead and Archie were strictly on cleanup duty. Their little family was dysfunctional, but just as much home as Riverdale was.

College had been fun too, albeit insane exams. Classes were easy (at least for Betty they were), and her professors were pretty cool. They had even attended a few parties, more so a ‘Veronica and Archie’ scene as a designated “Power Couple” on the campus. Jughead and Betty had chosen more reserved extra curricular activities, such as poetry reading nights at the Java Jones down the road, or (big surprise) the double feature at a local theater.

But it was during their last year of college when Betty and Jughead’s life had changed for the better.

Betty had found out she was pregnant.

After countless failed attempts at getting back into their rhythm, of nights spent crying over too real nightmares and reoccurring ptsd, Betty finally sought the help so the elephant in the room didn’t butcher her relationship with Jughead any further. Though, even with all the struggles, Jughead never pressured Betty into anything, always letting her be the one in charge, pulling away when he felt her whole body tense, or just sit and talk her back from the edge of insanity. He had been everything she needed, and then some. So after weekly sessions with a therapist, Betty was able to expand their relationship to the peak they had it at before.

They spent nights wrapped in naked embraces, whispering sweet nothings to one another as they conquered Betty’s internal battles and heeded Jughead’s external desires. So little words were said during their times together, only primal sounds of need and want, battling for control throughout the night.

And thus lead to their baby.

She still remembered telling Jughead the news, every single detail.

Juggie, I need to tell you something.” Her lip was between her teeth, eyes carefully watching the man in front of her. They were in their room at the apartment, Betty seating at the edge of their bed while Jughead was perched at the head of it, back against the wall.

Jughead blanked, body timid, eyes concerning. “Did I do something wrong?” His voice was raspy but soft, just above a whisper.

Betty shook her head furiously, placing her hands on the sides of his face. “No Juggie, you didn’t do anything wrong.” His smile melted her heart, hands coming to rest on her sides.

So what did you need to tell me?” Jughead asked.

I uh-” Betty bit her lip again, looking away. Jughead’s hand came to rest on her jaw, bringing her eyes back to his, without saying a word he just nodded. Letting out a breath and standing from the bed, Betty finally said. “Juggie I’m pregnant.”

The first thing Jughead did was drop his mouth open in shock. Or awe. Or dispair. Betty didn’t quite know what emotion it was, but what came after is what Betty truly loved. Jughead smiled. He smiled so large she thought his face was going to crack. A full, toothy, completely and utterly happy kind of smile. Then he kissed her. He kissed her again, and again. Peppering kisses across her face, along her neck, back to her face. His arms were around her, pulling her so close she thought he was trying to morph them together.

Really?!” He asked, so much excitement and joy, Betty had never seen him like this before. She just nodded, unable to find words in this wonder. “I’m going to be a dad?” He said the last word tentatively, sorta like he was testing it out. His smile a few seconds later made Betty assume he was fine with the term, and new title. He picked her up in his arms, twirling her around a few times before setting her down once more, placing another quick kiss on her smiling lips. Jughead stood quickly, launching himself off the mattress with ease.

Then he dropped to his knees, side of his face flush against her tummy as he smiled. “My baby,” was all he said. A tear escaped Betty’s eye, words cutting off from the lump in her throat. She just sniffled. Jughead looked up at her, concerned. “Whats wrong?” He was standing in front of her again, hands on either side of her face. Betty just shook her head, a few more tears streamed down her cheeks. Jughead’s thumb gently wiped them away, kissing her cheeks softly. “You are so beautiful.” Betty just smiled, closing her eyes. “The mother to my baby.”

He kissed her then, and no matter how many times Betty relives the moment, the kiss gets longer and longer. Better every time. Their lips played a devilish dance, limbs wrapping around one another in a fight for dominance. Betty finally let Jughead take control, falling into step with his movements and just living for the moment.

Betty flushed at the memory, touching her lips with her finger and smiling. The door opened to her right, Jughead appearing from the threshold.

“Hey Juggie.” Betty said, smiling. She was making lunch, smiley face sandwiches and only the best fruit. Jughead took a step forward, placing a quick kiss on Betty’s temple.

“Hey Betts, where’s Hunter?” Jughead asked, grabbing an apple slice and shoving into his mouth.

“In the living room with Ronnie. Archie should be here soon.” Jughead smiled, kissing her temple once more before retreating to the other room, happy giggles erupting from within. Betty smiled as she continued to cut the fruit. Finishing up, she plates everything and quickly emerges in the other room, food in hand and a smile on her lips.

Before her was Jughead, seated on the floor with Hunter – their energetic 9 month old son – while Veronica laughed from the couch. Archie was walking into the room as Betty put the food down, nodding for everyone to eat while she pulled Hunter to her arms. He cooed loudly, throwing his tiny arms around her neck. Betty giggled, enveloping him with her arms.

Jughead was beside them soon after, picking up the toddler easily and tossing him up slightly in his arms, igniting fits of laughter from the tiny boy. Hunter’s green eyes bright with excitement as Jughead continues to play with him, tickling and playing airplane. Betty just watches, laughing at her two boys. Veronica comes to sit beside her, gushing about a new set of cute clothes she’s going to buy Hunter. Archie pipes up about teaching their son how to play the guitar.

“He’ll be a rock star, like me!” Archie puffs out his chest, smirking. Veronica laughs, while Betty just smiles.

“Sure Archiekins, whatever you say boo.” Jughead says coyly, making silly faces at his son.

Archie just smiles wider, laughing. “I don’t know what’s more scary. Jughead calling me boo, or the fact that Ronnie didn’t have my back!” He feigned hurt, thrusting a hand to his chest and hanging his head. Betty bursts out laughing, covering her mouth to stop herself from snorting at the poor boy.

Veronica moves to sit beside Archie, placing a manicured hand on his shoulder. “Babe, there isn’t anything I can do to help you there.” Her smile was smug as he pulled from her grasp, gasping at her words.

“You guys are so mean to me! Why did I ever become friends with you again.” Everyone was laughing then, even Hunter, at Archie’s exaggerated expressions and flailing of his arms. Betty held her stomach tightly, the muscles in her core tense from the fits of laughter.

Once she calmed her laughter, she leaned back against the couch, watching her friends. Archie and Ronnie were talking about something, both their face close to one another and animated. Ronnie was smiling at something Archie said, leaning her head against his shoulder before kissing his cheek. Betty smiled at them, fingers tracing the scar on her wrist idly.

Jughead’s hand engulfed hers, bringing her attention to him. His blue eyes were filled with concern, looking down at Betty’s fingers then back up at her. She just shrugged, smiling at him. He mouthed the words she knew all too well, nodding before he could finish. He frowned, placing their son on the floor in front of him before scooting over to drape an arm over her shoulders.

“You ok?” He whispered, voice tickling her ear and sending a wave of pleasure down her spine. She bit her lip and nodded, not trusting her voice won’t sound heady. She notices his frown again, before leaning her head against his shoulder, closing her eyes gently.

“I’m ok Juggie.”

He cleared his throat, Betty feeling his head move in a nod. She keeps her eyes closed, unaware of if she’s falling asleep of just lost in thought. She’s brought back to reality when Jughead moves away from her, causing her head to dip painfully to the side. Rubbing her neck, Betty just opens her eyes. Hunter was sleeping on the couch behind her head, snuggled closely with his toy monkey named FP. Looking around, she stands.

Jughead was watching Archie and Veronica closely, waiting for the signal. When Archie finally looked over at him, a slight nod was all he got before Archie stood.

“Ronnie?” Veronica looked up at her name, concern filling her perfect features.

“Yes Archie?” She stood, sparing a glance at Betty, who just shook her head with lack of knowledge. “What is it?”

“Veronica. Ronnie. You’ve been by my side for longer than I can remember. You’re my biggest fan, and truest supporter, you’re one of the reasons I even continued with music when I wanted to quit.” Veronica was watching him, a charcoal tear trailing down her face. Archie reaches behind him, grasping something, then drops to one knee. “Veronica Lodge, will you marry me?”

“Holy shit!” Betty’s voice broke the silence, causing Jughead to chuckle. Veronica stood silent, tears streaming down her face, smudging her makeup. She had a hand over her mouth, nodding furiously. Archie shot an eyebrow up, confusion all over his face.

“Yes!” Veronica finally shouted, a choked laugh following. Archie smiled huge, standing up and enveloping her in his arms. “100 times yes, Archie. Oh my god.” Archie kissed her then, while Betty whistled, laughing at the two of them from her side of the room.

Jughead’s voice broke through the noise, Betty turning on her heel, still smiling. Then she halts. Before her is Jughead, down on one knee and navy blue eyes burning bright. A hand comes up to her mouth, strangling the gasp that escapes her closing throat.

“Betts, I don’t have a fancy speech like Archie does, but I just have one question.” He pulls out a tiny box, opening his with a click. Inside is the most beautiful ring Betty’s ever seen, engraved on the side is a J, opposite of that is a B. Tears flow freely down Betty’s cheeks as she inhales sharply. “Elizabeth Cooper, will you marry me?”

“Oh my gosh.” Veronica’s voice rang out, a shrill sound in the silence that followed.

Betty doesn’t respond, just launches herself into his arms, tears flowing quickly as she wraps her arms around his neck. He wraps his arms around her torso easily, holding her tightly. She could hear his small sniffles, indication of his own crying.

She pulls back slightly, leaning back on her knees. “Yes.” His face lit up at the one word, leaning forward to capture her lips in a kiss so full of passion, it was a wonder the whole world didn’t shatter. Betty wrapped her arms around his neck, tangling her hands in his messy hair. His arms came around her waist, pulling her as close as possible. They stayed like that for eternity, or at least it felt like it to them.

Pulling away, out of breath and flushed, Betty leaned her forehead against Jughead’s, biting her lip.

“I love you, Elizabeth Cooper.” She opened her eyes, looking up at him through her lashes.

“Jughead Jones. I love you.”

anonymous asked:

I'm a big fan of your work, I was wondering if maybe you could do a Qrowin prompt on how Qrow was able to bed with her the first time if she was so cold and bitter to him. I wish I had your writing skills 😔

“Ice Queen?”

That was the code word, and Winter snapped to attention. Dressed down to her more casual clothes and at the side of an alleyway, she gave the man a long look over. Already she could feel the gears in her mind turning, wondering if this really was the right person in front of her. The Atlas military had called in assistance from Vale to help infiltrate a smuggling ring, requesting for someone that looked imposing yet could be discrete.

Instead her partner would be Qrow Branwen, a beanstalk of a man with a large sword. What was worse was his childish red cape, which had so many tears towards the bottom that at some point the man must have nearly lost his head for it.

“I was hoping they would send someone more intimidating, but you’ll have to do.”

His eyebrow rose just behind his dark bangs, and a little smile stretched his face, pulling the stubble on his chin with it. “Makes me wonder what you think of me right now.”

She furrowed her brow and picked herself up off of the wall. “Someone might think you’re too handsome, and that would make you memorable - a liability in the long run.”

“Heh,” he let himself have a small chuckle before continuing, “Too handsome, you say?”

This was so close to being the last straw for Winter. First there was the paperwork needed to obtain a hunter from another nation to assist them. Even then, though, the mission was absolutely trivial - simple criminals looking to try and start something but were caught too early. She did not need some hunter looking to talk back, not when she was in charge of the mission.

“Let’s get going. We’ve wasted enough time.”

“Sorry, buddy, she’s not interested in you.”

It wasn’t until after the mission, changing back into her more standard outfit, the additional paperwork, and her second the small celebration party that Winter really understood what Qrow had asked. When it hit her, she felt herself stop dead in her tracks. She wouldn’t have been concerned that Qrow was too handsome if she somehow didn’t think that he was handsome as well.

“The lady just wants a night on her own, beat it.”

No, she corrected herself, that was oversimplifying it. Perhaps it was better to say that he simply had features that one might consider as handsome. Yes, that sounded better. An angled chin with just a bit of stubble, sharp and intentful red eyes, and that voice with just a bit of a long drawl and coarse sand in it. Why, some might daresay that it was a more rugged type of handsome.

“You’re outta luck, chump. She’s so drunk she’s not even listening to you.”

But he had at least proved her wrong on the intimidating part. Then again, though, anyone would be intimidating when they have a sword that turns into a scythe that stands longer than they are tall.

Winter didn’t think he was intimidating, though. After all, There was no reason to be intimidated by an ally. In fact-

“Look, she doesn’t even realize that she’s talking out loud and I’m right fucking-”

“Qrow Branwen,” Winter whirled around on her bar stool to face the man that was two seats away from her. Whatever conversation he was having was cut short as she set her glass down louder than she anticipated. “You are neither handsome nor intimidating.”

“Winter, I’m over here.”

Her vision might have been swimming at the edges, but she was sure that she was staring into those red eyes. She waved her hand in the air and dismissed his statement. “You may have features that most would consider handsome. A nice chin, dark hair, and very beautiful eyes. And you might be intimidating. But really-” she felt a slight sensation of weightlessness before she righted herself in the stool again, “Really, you are neither. Because you see- For you see-”

“Here we go again.”

He was taking her criticism very poorly, but he needed to get it into his head. She got out of her seat and unsteadily moved into the seat next to him, grabbing his arm. “Listen to me!” She leaned in, making sure that he had to focus on her argument. She refused to let anything distract him from her message. “You can’t be handsome if I think it’s a liability for a mission, and you can’t be intimidating if you’re my partner in a task.”

There. She gave her side of the argument. There was no way he was handsome nor intimidating, not in the slightest, not in the lowest circle of hell, not in the-

“Hey, I had to sit through your stuff, so humor me for a moment, Schnee.” There was a light clink, and she blinked twice, shifting her gaze to the cup he set down. But he started talking again and she looked back. “I am only a liability during a mission. Does that mean I’m handsome now?”

He huffed. “If my handsome qualities are a negative factor on a mission and thus a liability, then if there is no mission, and therefore no reason to be a liability, am I still handsome?

Oh. That- That was a good question. Her hand reached for her glass, the one she slammed down earlier, but instead she brushed up against a hard object and there was a light shattering of something.

Whatever, someone must have done something with her glass.

“Another shot, please.”

And that was the last thing she remembered.

“You- You know Branwen, that wuz sho very cl… cle… clever. Of you. Clever.”

“Yeah, clever. Cle-ver. You only ashked if you were handshum.”

“And why is that cle-ver?”

“Yurr not intimi-… intimidat- intimidating! Not intimidating. B’caush we’re alliesh.”

“You still didn’t answer my question. And come on, we’re at the stairs. Stairs, Winter. The general wanted you brought home and you can’t climb stairs if you’re dragging your feet.”

“And- And why did they pick you?”

You picked me, Winter.”

“Yes, i picked you becaush we’re alliesh, and you can’t intimidating- no, it’sh… intimidate. Can’t intimidate alliesh. Not allowed.”

“The stairs, Winter, and then the question please.”

“…Carry me.”

“Carry me up the shtairs and I’ll ansher the queshtion.”

“Really, now?”

“Yeah, ‘cush then I can shee your red… red eyes and- and- chin and jush… jus’ shee thim.”

“Just see them?”

“Yeah. Shee thim. They- It‘s… ‘s verr… verr pretty.”

“Heh, okay then.”

The hangover was unpleasant. But the operation was completed on a Friday, so that meant that at least it was now a Saturday and Winter wasn’t expected to be in the office.

That didn’t detract from the unpleasantness of it all, though. First she awoke to a pounding headache. Then there was the vomiting. Then there was the undying thirst at the back of her throat.

And then she realized that Qrow Branwen had taken care of her through the night. Then it was both unpleasant and mortifying. He made sure that she got to the toilet in time and held up her hair for her, that she had water to drink, and an aspirin tablet at her side.

The worst, though, was when she finally came out to the kitchen of her apartment. She had expected him to be long gone since she was stable enough to take care of herself. Instead he was in front of the stove, making bacon and eggs and it smelled heavenly, enough to make her stomach growl.

It was a nice feature to walk into on any morning.

Judging that the food was ready, he placed them onto a plate and put it onto the counter before returning to the pan. “You should eat.”

“I… Branwen-”

“Eat now, think later.”

“… Alright then.”

The sizzle of oil came up again as he added some more food to the pan, perhaps a portion for himself. He certainly deserved at least that much after last night. Winter slowly forked piece after piece into her mouth, chewing slowly to both savor the taste and also give her more time to think.

Here she was, in her military blouse and creased white leggings, hair down and mildly unkempt. It was like a scene from a sitcom. And even though it was unlikely, she still felt herself unsure. Her cheeks flushed as she spoke her first question. “Qrow… did we…”

“Nope,” he slid the pieces onto a second plate and grabbed another fork for himself. “I’m not stupid enough to do something like that. Especially not when the general himself expected me to get you home.”

“General Ironwood?”

“I had to call him to get your apartment address and number.”

The color drained from her face and she almost felt her fork drop. “You called the general?

“I have his number,” he looked up at her, and she was just a little too late in realizing that she was staring into those red eyes again. “You got a beef with that?”

“No, no,” she tore herself away. She should have been worried over the fact that the general had seen her drunk as hell, but… just …

Fuck, he really was handsome. And he could cook. And he knew how to handle a hangover. And he cared for her in one of the not-so-pretty moments of her life. “Just…” she sighed, “surprised, I guess.”

“… I get ya, Ice Queen.”

The rest of breakfast was in silence. When the meal was complete, Winter offered to clear away the dishes while he freshened up, trying to ignore the fact that he was naked in her apartment, trying to ignore that he probably had to use her soap and shampoo, trying to ignore that he had some really good qualities to him despite their initial meeting.

“Fuck,” she said to no one in particular.

She buried her face into her hands. “Fuck, fuck, fuck.”

When he came out of the bathroom, there wasn’t much fanfare outside of the beating of her own heart. He tucked his sword on the back of his hip and began to move to the door. But right as he reached for the door handle she stopped him.

It was too easy in her mind. But now that she was standing in front of him, looking up at his red eyes again, it was so much harder to swallow her words and to do. And why was he so tall?

Under the right circumstances, the man was certainly intimidating.

With a gulp, she stood up on her toes and kissed him, holding his hands, cheeks burning. “I… I take it back. You’re very handsome.”

He smiled. A nice, wide, time-stopping, but ultimately warming smile, and there was a chuckle behind his voice as he spoke. “I know. You told me twice.”

Here her gaze fell to the ground, but it had to go through looking at the stubble on his chin, then down his chest and legs first.

But he was an ally. A friendly. Partner-

“Um…” she swallowed, and it felt like an eternity passed, but Qrow was patient. “Did… Did you want some coffee before you go?”

And this time, the wait for him to respond was twice as harrowing “Sure.” A beat. “But is that what you really want right now? Coffee?”

Her cheeks burned red, but she pushed her fear back down to the pits of her stomach and shook her head. “N-No,” she forced out. “Not coffee.”

Instead of a response, a finger tucked itself under her chin and lifted her eyes up, bringing that intentful red gaze into sight again. Her whole body shook from anxiousness, and his lips softly mashed against hers, nothing like the peck she gave him last time.

He pulled away one last time.

“Is this better than coffee?”

“Yeah.” She gulped. “A lot better than coffee.”

He moved in again, more intensely this time, and she let his warm body wash up and over her.

“So where does this put us now?”

“Well, that depends - do you want this to be a one-time thing? I mean, you’ve already established that I am handsome and intimidating, so you had to have been thinking about the long term in some way, right?”

“Something… long term would be nice.”

A/N: Aahhh, thank you for the kind words, Anon! As for the writing, I’ve been doing this for some time, so I had to start from zero somewhere too, so don’t feel discouraged. I hope this answered you prompt, although I did it in Winter’s POV instead. Was a whole lot of fun though, and hopefully you got a kick out of it too. I might have made Winter seem too drunk, but in the end I felt that it helped contrast the moment better in the end.

Jsuki; DIABOLIK LOVERS Lunatic Parade - Character Ranking & After-thoughts

I’ve got this game for over a year…(omg), but with so many other series and new games to play, I kinda kept this on my shelf after unboxing it, till recently. LP follows the style similar to Vandead Carnival, with the mini-games and sub-scenarios. It seems to be a very loose continuation from Dark Fate if you wish, but there really isn’t much crucial plot, which means you can play this off the bat even if with no knowledge on DL prior. I also questioned why they really made this game, since it’s so similar to VC and so low on importance…maybe for the Carla or Shin fans who are desperate to see their faves in a carnival setting? :/ Actually no, it’s probably to get the die-hard DL fans like myself to spend more money.

Plot: Yui dreams that she had a conversation with a mysterious man, who asks her if she feels she is missing something, and also if the man she loves truly loves her for who she is or simply for her blood. Then one day, the Sakamaki / Mukami family receives an invitation by a certain Count Walter (who has stolen Yui’s heart, literally), asking for them to come join a parade in the demon realm. In order to retrieve her heart, the boys and Yui travel there, before the temporary jewel that gives her life that’s embedded in her body wears out, and then she dies. In this game, Yui is already in love with the boy and they are a couple, so for whoever’s route you pick, the boy will be the one accompanying Yui on her fantabulous heart-retriving journey. There is also no illustration whatsover of Count Walter, or his butler, but I imagine in my heart that he’s some crazy old bat similar to Karl Heinz.

Each of the boys’ routes only have 4 chapters + ending. In order to get a good final end, you need to get at least 2 right answers and also the pass the mini-game. It’s really the VC style, except simpler I think, since the answers are quite easy and you can even pick the level of the mini-game (I usually go for normal, but if you’re unconfident, you can just go for easy, which makes it easier to pass). The general plot also goes like this: Enter realm > tries to find Count Walter > runs into random trouble > solve trouble while playing at the carnival > Count Walter returns heart?? The game was not without its loopholes too; I understand that when Yui doesn’t have a heart, blood won’t be pumping through her body, and so, her smell won’t attract any vampires. However, when Count Walter returns her her heart, it seems she can still prance around enjoying the parade with no problems after, lolol.

I’ve done up a usual Top 5 character ranking, which will contain some spoilers, so please read at your own risk! Please also know that I didn’t jot down any notes or write the descriptions instantly after finishing each route, so everything’s off the top of my head. Top 5 is also from favourite to least favourite routes!

  • Sakamaki Subaru: Tsunbaru continues to strike in LP! Going into the demon world, they actually enter Count Walter’s mansion immediately, where Subaru threatens the Count instantly by knocking over the some expensive art in his house. Unfortunately, it seems the Count won’t appear anymore, so they figured they’ll have to replace the broken art piece if they even want to discuss him returning Yui’s heart. They go to find an eccentric old art collector, who sets them out on 3 tasks. In the end, Count Walter really does just return Yui’s heart to her, after the 3 tasks were finished. (LOL Count Walter is a weirdo with too much time on his hands.) But Subaru was just super sweet throughout, and you actually get character development! Subaru first sees Yui being kind and helpful to others, and at the end, he does the same (which becomes key to solving task 3). I actually really like that. Despite Subaru bellowing at half of the things, in the end, he and Yui dress up in costumes, send lanterns in the sky, and kiss in the middle of the parade. My heart<3

  • Mukami Ruki: While his was a bit too serious and negative(?) during Vandead Carnival, I felt like his route this time was really enjoyable! He’ll keep the task in mind, still let them enjoy the carnival, but then tease Yui and there’ll be a lot of hot, kissing scenes ((((:

  • Sakamaki Kanato: Kanato is actually a fun route for me to play, unexpectedly! Despite his tantrums and all, he was hell-bent on getting Yui’s heart back, and I thought the entire route was quite the adventure, from them getting swept up in the sky, to running amock in the caves. He was also pretty sweet (in the scenarios where he should be). Such a far cry from the Kanato I know in the first two games!

  • Sakamaki Shu: I can’t quite remember what happened in Shu’s route anymore :/ It wasn’t memorable, and as usual, Shu is just kinda sluggish, reluctant and logical about his actions to retrieving Yui’s heart. Mainly, they were running around trying to track Count Walter’s butler. They had cute moments tho, like them holding hands as they stroll through the parade, or when they rode the ferris wheel. I remember one thing that annoyed me was how awkward some of his CGs looked…it’s like their art and design department forgot how the kiss scenes go, and that final CG of them kissing especially looked like they’re trying to merge their faces together :| I’M SO CONFUSED. OK but I don’t remember hating his route, so it must just be so-so.

  • Sakamaki Ayato: Ayato is my favourite character, so when he is out of character, it stands out extra to me. While in the demon world, Ayato and Yui run into constant trouble, which is mostly because Ayato is too brash and too violent, and goes around hitting people or intruding onto other people’s premises =_= Instead of really focusing on getting Yui’s heart back, it’s more like we’re running around, trying to fix some irrelevant shit that Ayato started. There were also scenes where Ayato tries to kiss Yui at obviously inappropriate situations, so none of it feels romantic to me because clearly, the mood isn’t there. I was generally pretty frustrated doing Ayato’s route b/c it was as though Ayato had no sense of urgency, even though when there comes a crucial moment to talk about how important Yui’s heart is, he’s able to do it, but his actions along the way don’t prove that. In the end, Ayato admits and assures Yui that he loves her, not simply for her heart, but also for her soul, and they make out at the ferris wheel before the parade ends. The route then ended and I had no idea whatever happened with Count Walter, the demon world’s citizens and the bad guys????? Overall, a route with no heads or tails.

  • Bonus → Sakamaki Laito (This is up because he’s the only guy I happened to type out the description for, so I shan’t let it go to waste now): Is it just because I dislike Laito? I felt like he wasn’t very serious about the fact that she LOST HER HEART, and that he finds it to be troublesome trying to retrieve it. Half the time, since they can’t seem to enter Count Walter’s mansion, they get played into this young vampire swindler’s hands, who promises them that he knows the way in. They meet a bunch of tiring hurdles, somehow gets lucky and passes them, but then there is no actual meaning as to how they contribute to the big picture. You feel they’re all just kinda one-off, but at the end of the day, Count Walter says he is impressed and then just gives Yui her heart back <_< It’s like, in the end, Laito already given up and just says, “Let’s enjoy the parade” and Yui is like, “Let’s”. CLEARLY THEY HAVE GIVEN UP. I think partially it is just Laito’s supposed personality, but I’ve never been a fan of him so I guess it just wasn’t enjoyable.

Additionally, there are also the ‘Care for vampire’ and ‘Date with (insert family name)’ scenarios. I thought the the Date with Sakamakis one was super cute, where the boys each take turns to take Yui out on a date, such as Shu taking her shopping, and Subaru bringing her to a public cafe and drink from a heart-shaped straw…because they’re silently competing as to which brother she enjoys going on dates with the best. Hilarious stuff!

Overall, even as a DL fan, you don’t really need this game. If you’re desperate for a carnival setting, please play Vandead Carnival, since it’s a lot better, with better CGs to boot. They really recycled a lot of stuff (including the mini-games and BGM), and the plot is thin too, and if I knew earlier, I would actually skip the game myself.

Currently, I’m playing UtaPri Repeat Love~ will post up a review as usual after I’m done! Other games that I’ve also pre-ordered for my PSV include Osomatsu-san THE GAME, MARGINAL#4 ROAD TO GALAXY. Still considering Tsukiuta’s Tsukitomo. I’M BUSY.

Bliv Prompt: Sleep(less)

Requested by @turtleintheshire: Blaine Hates to sleep on the Couch Alone

There were nightmares almost nightly. They were vague, disjointed, like pieces of a puzzle that just didn’t fit together. But from what he had learned from Ravi, he knew enough to work out that they were memories, memories of the old Blaine.

Most nights he avoided sleeping all together, instead choosing to down cup after cup of coffee, and to go snooping through Liv and Peyton’s living room; flipping through magazines and books and going through their kitchen drawers.

But some nights were like this, where he awoke with the blood pounding in his ears, and his hands clawing at his throat trying to chase away the feeling of suffocation. It was nights like these where he wished that he didn’t feel quite so alone, where he wished that he wasn’t crashing in a house full of strangers who mostly wanted him dead.

The couch was so lonely, impersonal. It was a blank slate just like himself, and after tossing and turning it provided no comfort.

anonymous asked:

Does the amount of crude sexuality on the buster tag disturb you too?

Yes and no. The Internet and platforms like tumblr provides something unique. It provides anonymity; a curtain for people to hide behind so that they can express themselves in a way they couldn’t before. You, yourself asked your question anonymously, which is fine, because I’m sure you had your reasons.

The tumblrverse is a strange place. I have seen some very interesting and rather explicit sexual fantasies about other actors, both from classic Hollywood and modern day Hollywood. Particularly with actors du jour like Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch. I’ve even seen some stuff about Joe Biden the Vice President of the United States of America! And yes, it can be disturbing and a bit alarming what people write. By comparison though, I think the sexuality on the Buster tag isn’t as bad.

Ultimately it comes down to having a fantasy about something that in reality is unattainable. And sometimes people need to escape reality for awhile. It’s an interesting dynamic though because the Internet is empowering women to express their sexuality in a society that has not allowed them to.

Even Anita Loos’ comment that I put up about Buster yesterday has some sexual connotation. “I used to think that looking across a pillow into the fabulous face of Buster Keaton would be a more thrilling destiny than any screen career.” Why a pillow? Why not say looking across a table? This was in her book Cast of Thousands where she referred to Natalie and Buster’s marriage. Anita essentially was saying that she wished she was in Natalie’s place and probably had some ideas of her own.

Buster was an attractive man. And lets be honest here, Buster wasn’t exactly ashamed of his physique. It doesn’t help his fans, past or present, from having fantasies by being half naked in his films.

Or posing for pictures like this.

Overall, I think people respect Buster and his work. And some people are just very expressive of their fantasies.

By Eddie Brock

The greater New York tri-state area got a whole lot safer yesterday.  Captured late last night, Cletus Kasady, escaped serial killer and notorious redhead, was eerily calm and subdued when he eagerly surrendered to the FBI. The manhunt for the FBI’s Most Wanted felon ended innocuously in a small strip mall outside of New Rochelle, New York.

A barista at a local coffee shop recognized Kasady and eventually called the police.  The barista apologized to reporters later admitting she didn’t immediately alert authorities hoping Spider-Man would beat them to the scene.  “What can I say?  I am a HUGE fan.”

Kasady had been sentenced to twelve life sentences for the twelve murders he committed — but escaped while being transported between federal prisons. Sources say Kasady has been remanded to Ravencroft Institute for further interrogation until he is relocated to a maximum security federal prison. While the barista didn’t get her wish, we know Spider-Man thanks her… as we all do. For now it appears that Kasady won’t be causing any more carnage.

Okay, so I promised allhailthehutch a little Everlark drabble. She prompted me with ‘i’m a huge fan of your art/webcomic and i finally FINALLY met you at your booth at a con’ (I did kind of tweak that premise a bit). I hope this serves as a nice pick-me-up for you, even if it’s like a bazillion hours after I promised it! (And i hope everyone else enjoys it as well!)

“I can’t believe we really get to see him!” Prim squealed, her hands wrapped tightly around the edges of her well worn-in book. She bounced in place where she stood in front of Katniss and then tried to anxiously peer around those who had queued up before them once again.

And once again, Katniss pulled her back. She’d been trying to keep the petite blonde still since the object of her excitement had taken his place at the autograph table. “You gotta calm down, little duck.” She placed her hands on her younger sister’s shoulders. “Nobody likes being freaked out on, remember?”

Prim rolled her eyes. “I know, I know!” She leaned in close to Katniss, eyes wide and excited. “But it’s Peeta Mellark! Peeta fucking Mellark! Have you seen his graphic novel for ‘Girl on Fire’?!” Prim bent herself at the knees, like the sheer weight of her freak out was pulling her down. “He brought the book to life so vividly, Katniss!”

“Yes, you’ve got the pictures plastered all over your room.” Katniss spun her back around as the line trickled forward a few more steps. “And one in the bathroom as well.”

Sighing, Prim carried on like she hadn’t heard Katniss. “He’s on Tumblr, you know? Like’s interacting with the fans of the series. He’ll draw little things here and there and reply to comments.” She shrugged. “He’s never replied to any of mine, but that’s okay. He’s so popular and awesome,” Her blue eyes found Katniss’ grey over her shoulder. “I really wish you would just read the book already so you could really get it!”

This is the last post I will be making about Naruto. I’m sure everyone has had enough of reading the rants. I made my decision to wait until the 10th because in my mind, that was the real end date for Naruto.

So here we go.

This is my personal apology to those in the Naruto fandom. Because I feel that most of us are still reeling, upset, furious and maybe accepting over the end. And a few encouraging words can’t hurt to hear.

Be warned, it is lengthy. I tried to make a section for everyone, so if you don’t want to read the whole thing, each section is in bold.

Book Review: Valhalla

So I just finished reading Valhalla by Ari Back, better known as the guy behind Facts I Just Made Up. It was enjoyable, and after I got around 70% done (according to my Kindle for PC) it got very difficult to put down. It wasn’t perfect, and I’ll address what I might have changed, but it was a thoroughly fun book.

Spoilers beneath the cut.
