man i miss this show sigh

An idea that I can’t seem to get out of my head is what if.. it was actually Dark who killed Jack in Say Goodbye? And that he did so to completely free his friend Anti. Or maybe he gave Anti the final strength he needed to take complete control?

I mean, just IMAGINE what that would’ve been like…

Jack’s doing the pumpkin carving video like normal, and Dark is watching him from behind the camera (Jack can’t see Dark because Dark is able to choose who can and cannot see him) Anti appears in his few moments that he does before the “big reveal”, and then appears next to Dark, very worn out.

“He’s too strong, man. I can’t do this.”

“Dude, you’ve got this. Come on, try again.”

So Anti tries a few more times to take over Jack, but he just can’t seem to do it. He gets to the point where he’s almost there, but then just barely missed his chance. He appears next to Dark again, even more worn out than before. Jack becomes concerned and starts to freak out a little, but Anti and Dark just ignore it for now.

Anti shouts angrily. “Gah, this is impossible!”

Dark sighs. Anti’s obviously struggling, and Dark’s getting a bit bored of this crazy glitchy show, so he offers to give some of his power to him. Anti instantly accepts, and with a simple touch to his chest, Dark gives Anti a small bit of his power. The pupils of Anti’s pitch black eyes begin to glow a bright painful white, his dark hair glowing as if to look like an emerald fire, and a faded, eerie green aura floating around him. Anti gives Dark a pointy grin before making his move. Dark watches in delighted pleasure as Anti slits Jack’s throat with the carving knife, with his goal finally coming to a close.

Jfc this went on too long. Sorry for basically turning it into a fanfic. This was just a pretty cool idea I thought of.

Request: Anonymous. Hi again, I had sent a request for a dean x reader one shot but was informed that Mel hadn’t returned yet. I see that she has and Im glad she’s doing better. 😊. If shes taking requests my request was for a story where the reader is short ( like 5'1") and she has a crush on Dean. She overhears him at a bar one night flirting with the waitress and he says that “he likes tall girls”. Of course the reader is heartbroken. With some fluff and a little smut please. Thank you and so glad you are back.

Pulling your hair up, you laughed. “I’m serious.” Sam smiled. “He screamed this high pitched scream, looking completely terrified. It was a damn cat.” You were cracking up at the expense of your long time crush- Dean. “You know what he says right after?” You shook your head, trying to breath. “He looks at me, this weird smile, and goes ‘that was scary!’” He did his best to mimic Dean’s voice. That made you laugh even harder. He was telling you funny stories, trying to distract you from his brother. Sam knew about your crush, and didn’t want you getting hurt when you saw him off being well…Dean.

“Wow.” You breathed when you could finally talk again. “I wish I had been there.” Hearing Dean’s voice, you furrowed your brows. Glancing around, you spotted him not far off with a waitress.

He was leaning on the table she was clearing, that smirk on his face. “Oh, I like tall girls, sweetheart.” His green eyes looking up and down her long, sleek body. He licked his lips unconsciously, something that you knew he really did when he saw someone he wanted to sleep with.

Turning away, you downed your beer. “Another?” You asked Sam.

“I’ll get them.” He gave you a sad smile, slipping off his stool and heading towards the bar.

Leaning on the heel of your left palm, you played with a napkin, simply staring at it. There was no joy in your face, and you were trying not to tear up. Afterall, it was just a silly crush, and now you knew that he’d never be attracted to you, right? You were far from tall. Hell, you barely were past five feet tall! Letting out a breath of air, your chest ached as if being crushed.

You heard feet, and the slight scraping of the stool near you, but didn’t look up. “Hot damn.” You heard Dean’s voice, and knew he had a cocky grin on his face. “That is a fine lady, and I got her number.” He gloated.

Without a word, you got up and walked out, wiping your cheek. Pulling out your phone once you were outside, you texted Sam.

Going to my room. See you in the morning. I’m sorry, I couldn’t listen to him brag about scoring her number…

Hitting send, you shoved your phone in your back pocket.

Mulligan laughed, watching John run right past us. You watched him run by, his eyes meeting yours. He shot you a wink, sliding between you and Lafayette. His body hit yours, almost making you fall on the floor. Lafayette caught you in his arms, your face pressed against his chest.

He moved your hair out of your eyes, looking at you with concern, “Are you okay, mon ami?”

You thanked him, pulling yourself out of his arms, “Ah, yes, yea, I’m okay.”

Peter had texted you saying a spider-man thing came up so he’d probably be late… six hours ago. To say you were worried would be an understatement, but knowing Peter, he probably had everything under control.

All you could do was sit and wait.

Dangerous: Chapter One.

Request: Hi! Could you do a oneshot or multi chapter where reader is Tony’s daughter & Avenger who falls in love w/ Loki. They have a Joker/Harley type relationship (minus the abuse) & even tho she loves her dad & team, she becomes a villain for loki. Thanks!

Summary: Stark is the name I was born into. Being Tony Stark’s kid meant a lot of things, namely everyone looking to you and protecting you. I’m not some princess needing to be protected. That’s what I’ve told myself anyway. When Loki appears, I feel ready to worship a king.

Starts during the Avengers movie then I kinda write my own thing.

Triggers Throughout The Series: Angst. Drama. Violence. Smut. Romance.

Triggers In This Chapter: Loki being a shit.

Word Count: 1034

Enjoy ;D

Tick, tock. Tick, tock.

I glanced over at my alarm clock, watching the second hand tick away. Pepper had gone off to some meeting after dad had left for whatever it was Mr. Coulson–No. Agent Coulson–had dropped by. Something called the “Avengers Initiative” that was supposed to be top secret. My eyes slowly dragged to my ceiling, showing a display of constellations.

With a sigh, I got up. Twenty-years-old and living with my dad. Lame. Of course, being Tony Stark’s daughter, it was easier to live in the tower, considering his Iron Man Mantle. Honestly, it just sounded like one more thing for the world to praise my dad for. Me? I’m still trying to figure out why the hell I’m in school. I’m not like Tony Stark. In fact, hardly anyone even knows my name. I’m just “Tony Stark’s daughter” and “Miss Stark” to the rest of the world.

There was a loud bang on the rooftop, making me flinch. I ducked over the side of my bed, reaching under to grab my baseball bat from it. It wasn’t much for defense, mostly a comfort. I looked around as the alarms went off, quickly silenced until the power went out. I took a deep breath, gulping anxiously as the back-up lights kicked on.

I ran the plan that dad had given me. Get to the lab. Get to the lab and turn on the…the…what the hell was I supposed to turn on?!

I sighed, closing my eyes and collecting myself. I needed to calm down. I needed to focus. Panicking would get me killed.

Of Filth and Men

WARNING⚠

This isn’t a necessarily happy fic

It’s one of my ideas for an end to the Filthy Frank Show.

But if you’re curious for what lies ahead, you have been warned.

Frank lines the three of them up one by one.

“Cover your ears. All of you.”

They do as he says.

Sal turns around. Afraid.

“It’ll be alright Salamander Man. Just turn around okay? Here take your flute.“

Sal begins to play his classic song.

“Pink Guy.”

He spins around to look at Frank.

“Hey buddy, can you rap for us? Reaaaallly fuckin loud I want the neighbors to hear that shit. And no matter what you hear, do not uncover your ears.”

He perks up and sings his tune with his ears covered. Frank can’t understand his gibberish but he knows he’s calmed.

Lemon is curled up on the end going on and on about twenty-one, as usual.

Frank pulls the gun out from his waistband and cocks it. He starts with Sal. He puts the gun behind his head and looks away.

“I’ll see you soon buddy”

Gunshot.
His flute hits the floor and his body drops.

Pink Guy continues his song, much louder and much more disconcerted than before.

Frank attempts to gather himself as he moves to Lemon. He puts the gun behind his head as he screams. He was about to pull the trigger but

“w-wait Franku please I don’t wanna die”

Frank, astounded by his first use of actual speech, lowers his gun.

He crouches down next to him

“It’s gonna be okay. We’re going to a better place. No more Chin Chin, no more worries.”

“T-Twenty-one?”

“Yeah sure fuck it twenty-one.”

He stands back up behind him, gun in hand.

“We’ll see each other soon.”

Gunshot.
He slumps forward as fluids drain from his body.

And finally, Pink Guy. Frank finds this the hardest to do. Pink stops his song and uncovers his ears. He opens his eyes and stares about the bloodied room, and at the bodies of his friends. He breaks.

“God dammit Pink Guy, what the fuck did I say?”

“Franku why?”

“Because there’s nothing left for us here. Chin Chin will be here soon we’re running out of time. And I can’t stop him. No one can. And I’m not letting him take you guys. I’m not letting what happened to Safari Man happen to you. This is the only way. Now shut up an-”

“NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO”

Gunshot.

Pink’s life flashes before his eyes.
He’s drowning.
Fighting to stay alive.
He remembers being chased in the pitch blackness, only the red light of his torch guiding his way.
He remembers the cool touch of a blood filled tub. He remembers the vomit, he remembers the pain.
He remembers Chin Chin’s curse. He remembers the agony he was put in.
He remembers Frank saving him.
And he trusts him.
He closes his eyes.
And he let’s go.

“Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck FUUUUUUUUUUUCK”
Frank screams as he cradles Pink’s limp body. He puts the gun to his head.

“I’m coming Pink Guy, I’m….”

But he can’t do it.
How many times had he had a shot gun in his mouth?
How many times had he said he wanted to kill himself?

But now that the time had come, he couldn’t bring himself to pull the trigger.

“Need some help?”

Frank looked up to see that familiar face.

George stood over him with that laid back attitude he always had.

“Fuck you faggot, get out of here”
He threw the gun at George’s feet.

“I just wanna help. You want out of here, and I… want you gone. It’s over Frank.

Frank looked up again but lost breath at what he saw.

George stood there in his grey hoodie, black track pants, and those classic Nike’s.

But a dark force stood beyond him, he could make out a shadow lingering over him.

It was Chin Chin.

“You know what he wants. What we both want. Now either you let me help you, or he will.”

“…Fine. Fuck ass.”

George laughed.

“Even to the very end, you’re still an asshole huh? I know there’s more to you than that. I’ve seen it.”

“Wanna suck my ass while you’re down there kissing it?”

“I’m gonna miss you Frank. You’ll always be a part of me, and I’ll never forget that.”

“Gay.”

“Don’t cause too much trouble up there. And hey lighten up. You’re free now.

“…”

“And so am I.”

George pulls the trigger.

A loud gunshot heard for miles rings out.

He releases a sigh of relief, the shadow of Chin Chin fades away, and the whole world is lifted from his shoulders.

“I’m free.”

Hwarang :: Sam Maek Jong x Reader :: Part II

Thanks to everyone who waited and sent me nice encouraging messages! :) I felt bad for making you all wait so I made sure this chapter was extra long! 6505 words for you! I hope you enjoy :)

Read Part 1 here!

The sun seeps through the translucent film of the screen walls, it was warm. Really, really warm. I opened my eyes and I realized that the heat was not only radiating off the rising sun but also from Ji Dwi who was cuddled at my side. His arm was folded under my head, serving as a pillow while his other arm was wrapped around my waist holding me close to his body. I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks at his close proximity, his chin rested on top of my head while mine was nestled into his neck. He was so warm and cuddly…if only I could see his cute sleeping face. Carefully and very slowly I peel myself away to get a peep but instead I received a surprise when his grip tightened and pulled me closer into his chest. “Just stay for a moment longer,” he mumbles into my hair. I smile into the collar of his hanbok, “I wasn’t leaving. I just wanted to see your face.” At that he shifts lower so that we were face to face. Being so close I could admire how perfect his face really was. From his long lashes, perfectly round almond eyes, sharp sculpted jaw and shaped eyebrows. “Wow,” I breathed out loud which he smirks at, “What’s wrong? First time seeing a handsome man?” I roll my eyes, quickly turning over so that he faced my back. His breath fans across my neck as he chuckled, “I’m just teasing.” “No, you’re just annoying,” I correct as his arms found their way around my form again, pulling me back towards him, “And really cuddly” I muse allowing him to nuzzle his nose against my ear. “We should get up. It won’t be long before the intensive training starts to prepare you for that stupid…really stupid unnecessary spar in a weeks time,” I explain but it falls on deaf ears since he made no effort to pull away. “Ji Dwi!” I whine with a laugh trying to sit up but the man-child was not having it as he playfully flops on top of me. “G-Get off! Stop!” I scream with giggles in between the kisses he placed on my face and along my neck. Let’s just say it was a very compromising position to get caught in when the wooden door flew open to reveal a very alarmed and ‘ready to kill a man’ aura radiating off of Seyeo. Besides the embarrassing situation it was funny to see his shocked face with his sword ready in his hand when he realized what he interrupted. “I told you it was time to get up,” I teasingly scold Ji Dwi which he replies with a small smile. He rolls off of me and into a seated position then he proceeded to stare intensively at Seyeo, almost impatiently waiting for him to leave. “Seyeo, you are going to catch flies if you don’t close your mouth,” I casually say with a stretch. To my surprise, he doesn’t even reply or say a sarcastic remark before turning on his heel and hastily running off to god knows where. “Now where were we…” Ji Dwi hums, gently pushing me back onto the floor. “Hmmm…waking up to go to practice?” I suggest which he immediately tuts at, “Then what?” I smile knowingly as he lowers his face towards mine, planting a firm and sweet kiss onto my forehead. He pulls back slightly and looks up with knotted brows as if in deep thought, “I can’t seem to remember.” “Wow…such a dork. Just kiss me properly,” impatiently I cup his cheeks to pull him forwards. “Okay,” he agrees planting a kiss onto my nose. “Not there.” “Over here?” he inquires placing one onto my cheek. “No!” I laugh squishing his cheeks. “How about here?” he tries again with my other cheek. “Ji Dwi!” “One more try?” he chuckles, finally placing a firm one onto my lips. I laugh hugging his neck tightly, “I wish we could wake up every morning like this.” He nods in agreement, “I’m sure I can do something to make that happen.” “Then I’ll look forward to it! But let’s get you to practice now, okay?”

-

I join beside Seyeo who was watching the Hwarang set up for their sword practice. “So this is where you ran off to,” I tease taking a seat closely beside him. The male rolls his eyes and pulls out a parchment of crispy rice from his hanbok. “I wanted to surprise you with your favourite but I guess you surprised me instead. You know you could’ve told me so I wouldn’t have barged in like that!” I burst out laughing, realizing how embarrassed he was about the whole over deal, “You know we didn’t do anything right?” He breathes out almost in relief, not before quickly snapping a, “Yeah you better haven’t done anything!” I groan at his brotherly protectiveness, but all was forgotten when I remembered the crispy rice in my lap. Which I happily and quickly ate. Taking my last bite the Hwarang finally started their more intensiveness training in preparation to the fight taking place next week. Seyeo whistled beside me, “Wew, look at your man go!” I look up to find Ji Dwi showing off some really impressive moves, “Oh shut up you!” “Oh, he’s looking his way!” Seyeo exclaims excitedly and with no shame started waving at Ji Dwi which caused the corner of his lips to pull up. Not missing a beat Ji Dwi flashes me a wink before focusing on his sparring partner. “Oh what a cutie,” Seyeo sighs mockingly which I easily ignored since growing up with this annoying child that seemed to be the best option to shut him up. Observing the Hwarang carefully it was obvious as to who were the most skilled of the group, and much to my dismay I could easily tell that the sweet younger member, Han Sung, struggled to keep up. He wasn’t particularly horrible, he just needed a bit more practice. It was difficult to watch his sword constantly fly out of his grip since in a real situation that would’ve meant that he died…at least seven times in the last fifteen minutes. I couldn’t possibly watch him get killed at the sparring event, sending him with his current skills would just be suicide. So by the end of practice I thought of a solution to help Han Sung out, and importantly not to accidently hurt his feelings.

As the males started to put away their swords on their respective racks I walk towards Han Sung who sat defeated on the dirt ground. He was panting and out of breath but what took me back were the tears that started to well in his eyes. “Han Sung, you did great today!” I smile patting his head gently. He looks up with a pout, “Really?” I hum in agreement, “Of course! I was actually wondering if you could show me a few moves.” He blinks in confusion, “But you are already so good. I saw you the other day beating the other Princess and Ji Dwi.” He had me there, I guess I should give him a little more credit for being sharp when he wanted to. After a short moment of silence I nervously scratch at my temple, “But there’s always room for improvement right Han Sung?” Which to that he nods with his usual bright large smile. I nod contently, “Now that’s the spirit! Come on teach me something!”

Sam Maek POV

After practice I was looking forward to spend some time with (Y/n) seeing that we had the day off to relax. Apparently, it was part of the new practice regimen, practice intensively for three hours straight and rest for the remainder of the day. However, she seemed to be occupied. After putting away my practice sword I walked towards her usual observing spot but only her personal care taker was there. I follow Seok Hyeon’s line of vision to see (Y/n) gently patting Han Sung’s head. “What’s she doing?” I ask curiously plopping down beside Seok Hyeon. He cocks his head a bit in acknowledgement of my presence and explained, “(Y/n) couldn’t stand watching Han Sung fight like that. She knows he’s going to get hurt or worse, killed, at the spar so she’s trying to help him practice. Obviously without being obvious that he sucks.” I chuckle at the situation, that was something she would do, “So even when the situation is so dire she’s scared to hurt his feelings?” Seok Hyeon laughed with a scoff, “Yeah, so she’s using the excuse of asking him if he could show her some of his awesome moves.” I watch her and I found myself smiling like usual. From the way she watches Han Sung lovingly, the elegant sword movements, how she tenderly held Han Sung’s arms to help him get in proper position…it was all so perfect. She is definitely the Queen every Kingdom was waiting for. “Hmm…you are staring intensively are you jealous of the boy?” Seok Hyeon mused and I chuckle at that, “What? No of course not.” “That’s good. She already made up her mind that she wont be marrying the King so if that doesn’t prove her loyalty to you then I don’t know what will.” For once I broke my gaze from (Y/n) to look at Seok Hyeon with evident shock, “She said that?” To which he nodded at, staring intensively into my own eyes, “She told me that after her fourth encounter with you. She is extremely fond of you. You know if you end up hurting her I will kill you.” I chuckle at his threat, “I wouldn’t dream of hurting her, ever.” “I’m serious. I will kill you…excruciatingly slowly and painfully. Like I will skin you piece by piece,” Seok Hyeon explains never breaking eye contact. I was glad that (Y/n) has someone like him to watch over her, she was strong and smart but it put me at ease knowing that there will always be Seok Hyeon closely beside her to protect her if I wasn’t there. If she ever needed protecting that is, everyone here knows she’s deadly with her bare hands, let alone with a blade. Well maybe everyone but Han Sung as I could see how excited he was on the field to show (Y/n) some of his moves. “Look (Y/n)! I will teach you this move next!” The young Hwarang will exclaim before presenting some very off technique slash, which would then follow a, “Oh what if we did this instead? I think it would be much cooler!” (Y/n) would add just as excitedly. Call me blinded by love but she was absolutely perfect no matter what light you shine on her there was no imperfection to be seen. I didn’t even realize that they stopped sparring until the Princess started walking towards me. No wait towards Seok Hyeon. I wasn’t upset or anything. “Seyeo! Do you mind if you could go get Han Sung some jerky from town for doing so great?” She asks with a hand on Seok Hyeon’s shoulder, which he immediately accepts and gets up. Now that he was gone I look up from my seated position to see her smiling at me, “What’s up with your face?” “W-What’s wrong with my face?” I nervously ask attempting to cover it with my long sleeves which caused her to giggle and pull my hand away. “You look bothered, Ji Dwi.” Which I immediately reply with, “Why does he have a cute nickname?” (Y/n) snorts and slaps me upside the head, “Don’t be like that…my King~” she sings planting a soft kiss onto my cheek. I could hear my blood pumping in my ears and my heart skipping a beat at what she just called me. I couldn’t even reply as she quickly gets up and returns to help with Han Sung’s training. If only she knew the weight of her words.

Normal POV

Now knowing Han Sung’s strengths it was easy to help him hone into techniques that he could naturally execute. To be very honest I was just as out of breath as he was, “Do you want to take a break Han Sung?” He excitedly shakes his head with a gigantic grin plastered on his face, “No I’m having so much fun! We can take a break once Seok Hyeon is back with the jerky!” I return his smile genuinely happy that he was finally getting into the spirit of sword fighting and finding his confidence, “Okay, that sounds like a plan!”

Practice ensued for probably half an hour more before Seyeo returned with a large parchment of jerky, probably enough to fill up the entire Hwarang. Sitting under the shade of a tree I asked Han Sung to start unpacking the food while I went to invite Ji Dwi over to join us. To my surprise he had plans, “Sorry, I have to go see someone. But I will see you in the evening okay?” I frown but nodded nonetheless, “Okay…sorry that I didn’t get to spend more time with you on your day off.” He chuckles at that and combs my hair back with his long slender fingers, “Don’t be sorry. You were working hard with Han Sung. Enjoy the rest of your day, I’ll see you tonight.” Reluctantly I pull away from his embrace to allow him to go on about his day, “Bye be safe, okay?” To which he nodded with that charming smile. By the time I made it back to Han Sung he was already happily enjoying his share of jerky. I plop down beside him in the shade, safe away from the blazing afternoon sun. It was a nice comfortable silence that enveloped us, so I was quite taken aback when Han Sung spoke up suddenly. “Thank you for helping me,” he shyly smiles scratching his cheek, “I know you were just trying to help me and it makes me really happy.” It’s not even an understatement if I said that my heart just about exploded. “Han Sung…it’s no problem at all. I wanted to help you. I don’t like seeing you upset over something so trivial like sword fighting.” He pulls a funny face, something between a pout and a smile, “Can I tell you a secret?” I quietly nod and he sighs, nibbling on his jerky. “I wished I was born a half blood instead of my brother.” My heart swells up at his confession, “May you tell me the reason why?” “He’s great at everything unlike me…but he isn’t allowed to do anything because of his blood. While I have the blood but I’m useless I can’t do anything right. Maybe if he was the true blood our family’s lineage wouldn’t disappear. God knows it’s going to end with me.” “Oi! You aren’t allowed to speak of yourself like that!” I scolded with a frown, “You will succeed if you keep trying hard and so will your brother! I promise, once I take my throne I will remove all hierarchy and allow anyone to work at the palace as long as they are passionate and hard working. Please continue to try your hardest with your brother, the time will come very soon.” Han Sung’s face lights up, “Wow so cool!” I laugh and pat his head gently, “No…it’s the right thing to do and about time. Blood shouldn’t decipher what an individual can or cannot do. Their actions should be accounted not something that no one has control over, like blood lineage.” He male hums with a closed eye smile, “I can’t wait for you to rule then. Serving you would be really fun with my brother, (Y/n).” I tut at that, “Silly, you won’t be serving me. We are equals, friends even. I just wish for everyone to work along side one another…no serving of any sorts.” “Ji Dwi is very lucky to have you love him (Y/n),” Han Sung suddenly states changing the topic. “J-Ji Dwi?” He hums with a nod in approval, “Although the King would miss out on someone like you, you make Ji Dwi very happy and he’s usually like a rock.” I laugh at that, “Like a rock?” Han Sung nods and joins in with the laughter. “I’m glad you are feeling better, Han Sung. Shall we continue to train for the days coming?” The male nods happily, “I would love that!” “Alright then. Just on one condition, always try your best.” With that we sealed our deal with our pinkies.

Sam Maek POV

Even though it was tempting to stay with (Y/n) and Han Sung I couldn’t ignore the nagging feeling I had that I needed to talk to my mother. Although our talks usually end up fruitless I still found myself trying to reason with her anyways. I walk into the empty throne room to see her perched on her throne…my throne. “Sam Maek, what are you doing here?” she asks surprised at my random visit, “It’s still light outside someone can see you.” “Mother, I wasn’t happy with you trying to marry me off to one of the Princesses, but I made my decision,” I say ignoring her previous inquiries. Mother chuckles softly covering her mouth, “Oh Sam Maek…” she coos getting up from her seat. She started talking again once she walked up to me, “You never had a choice as to whom you were going to marry.” She says with knotted eyebrows but I knew her enough to know that there was no concern behind her actions. “Then why did you bring Princess (Y/n) here if you wanted me to marry my sister.” She smiles shaking her head, “I honestly thought she would just make Princess Sook Myung look even better, besides a friendship to guarantee an alliance with Goguryeo is intelligent. I’m surprised that you could take a liking to someone like Princess (Y/n).” My blood started to boil but I knew I had to keep my anger at bay, “Emotions aside, marrying Princess (Y/n) makes perfect sense. It creates a stronger alliance with the Kingdom of Goguryeo. Your narrow minded decisions has lead Silla to being the smallest of the three Kingdoms.” Mother furrows her eyebrows and reaches out a hand to cup my cheek, “Get rid of such silly thoughts regarding Princess (Y/n). It’s not going to happen. You are to marry Princess Sook Myung and it’s not up for discussion.” I turn my head away from her touch, it felt toxic, “For my entire life I obeyed your every order, however this time I cannot follow through of what you ask of me. You can send me away again, isolate me, deprive me of my throne, but you will not take her away from me.”

The walk back to the Hwarang house took longer than it should have, maybe because I took my time thinking about the event that just unfolded. The talks with Mother were usually like this but I felt uneasy that I told her so much about my feelings. She was controlling and consumed by fear which makes the most dangerous of people. “I missed you!” The sweet voice I learned to love called out. I look up from the ground to see a small blur running towards me, instantaneously engulfing me into a bone crushing hug. “I know you were only gone for only a few hours but I missed you already…can we go to Okta together? A bunch of the Hwarang are going!” she grins up at me excitedly. I gaze into her large round eyes and I found myself smiling as well, “I will accompany you anywhere, but I think it’s better if we stay inside tonight if that’s alright with you.” Without further questioning she nods contently and pulls me along to the small pond located at the back of the Hwarang house. I lower myself and sat down on the rocky surface beside the water, “Come here,” I softly coo pulling her into my lap. She quietly snuggles herself into my hanbok and rests her cheek against my shoulder.

Normal POV

Being so cozy and warm I started to drift off, but the nagging feeling regarding how strangely Ji Dwi was acting tugged at the back of my mind. “You know if something is bothering you Ji Dwi, you can tell me. I’m here to listen.” He momentarily remains silent threading his slender fingers through my locks, it took a few seconds of silence before he collected his thoughts and found his words, “I’m alright…just promise me one thing, okay?” I lift my face away from his neck to clearly into his face, it was obvious that something was tugging at the back of his head as well, “That really depends on the promise. If I can’t keep it I won’t lie to you.” He chuckles at that, “What I ask of you is quite simple, I wish for you to stay on Hwarang property. If you leave I will personally accompany you. That’s all I ask.” His proposal was strange indeed. It wasn’t something he would usually say, especially since he clearly knows how capable I am of protecting myself. “I have to be accompanied by you? Not even Seok Hyeon?” I inquire causing Ji Dwi to immediately nod his head, “I know you are capable of protecting yourself but I need you to do this for me. Please.” I silently nod, wrapping my arms around his now relaxed form, “Thank you (Y/n).” He strokes my back in slow circles, relaxing me enough to doze off.

I lost count of time, only realizing that it’s evening when the sun started to set into the horizon. Pulling back from Ji Dwi I stretch popping multiple joints, and I groan contently at the shift of tight muscles in my back. “Sorry I fell asleep,” I groggily chuckle getting off his probably now numb lap. Ji Dwi softly smiles, “That’s alright. I don’t mind being your pillow if that means that you are well rested.” I scoff with a shy smile in response, “No matter how sweet that was it was also excruciatingly cheesy.” Holding out my hand Ji Dwi takes it and pulls himself up and I was definitely correct about his legs being numb. The next second I knew we were both tumbling into the pond screaming, although the screaming didn’t last long as loud hearty laughter took over almost instantly. “You should’ve seen your face!” I exclaim pinching his cheek between by thumb and index. A mischievous glint sparkled in his chocolate brown eyes, before I could warn him not to he scooped water into his hands and splashed my face with it. “Bleh! Don’t you guys clean your bloody laundry with this water?” I spat but it was fruitless as he ignored my complaint and legitimately showered me. “Oh you’re on!” I growl tackling him into the pond where he slips and ended up pulling me along with him. “I’m soaking wet thanks to you!” I frown, “I just took a shower a few hours ago too…” “Come then let’s go take one together,” he winks cheekily causing a loud gasp to leave my wide hanging jaw, “Aish! Ji Dwi ah you can’t just say those things!” I stutter evidently flustered by his dirty teasing. He chuckles softly, caressing my cheek with the pad of his thumb, “You are so innocent it’s adorable.” “What? No!” I shake my head vigorously, “It’s all your fault for thinking such impure thoughts!” Throwing the blame onto him I cover my flushed face with the now wet sleeves of my hanbok. “Well we are going to get married no? Won’t we do so eventually? I’m just suggesting a head start,” he smiles innocently and I shake my head with a tut, “Please say you are joking!” Ji Dwi chuckles and leans forward, planting a soft warm kiss onto my forehead, “I’m just teasing. You are so easily flustered it’s quite precious.” I shake my head stubbornly never once breaking the intensive eye contact from him, “I’m not easily flustered! I am a proper Princess who is aloof and wears a face of unchanging stone!” “That sounds like something you can read from a scroll in etiquette lessons given from your mother or nanny.” “Well…you’re not wrong,” I burst out laughing and it was music to my ears when he joined in.

-

After taking a shower, alone, I must add. I snuggle into my mattress with Ji Dwi closely beside me. “Are you really going to stay the night with me?” I ask hopefully which he nods in confirmation, “You mentioned this earlier on the day that you wanted to wake up every morning like this.” I nod contently holding him close to my body as did he to mine. “Can you tell me stories about yourself so I can fall asleep listening to your voice?” I ask closing eyes. His index finger drew circles into my shoulder blade while he pondered, “There’s nothing really interesting about me. How about I tell you about my favourite story that I heard growing up?” Without opening my eyes I nod and snuggled closer into his chest so that my ear was pressed against his chest, so close that I could hear his even breathes and the strong beat of his heart.

There was once a boy who was born with powers. Powers that allowed him to do whatever he wanted and everyone had to listen to him. His mom didn’t want him because of that so she sent him very far away where his powers couldn’t touch her. Growing up he never knew love or where he belonged as he never had a home. One day he finally decided to embrace his powers and return home. When he went home he finally met the girl that showed him what love meant. Even though he kept his powers hidden he ended up getting many killed just by getting near them, so he’s terrified that he will hurt her one day. Despite the paranoia he opened his heart to her much against his mother’s wishes. He finally found happiness and he was terrified.

Throughout the story I could feel his heartbeat quicken and in all honesty it made me curious, “Was that by any chance a real story?” I quietly ask and he shook his head with a light chuckle, “Of course not. It’s just a story I heard growing up.” I nod thoughtfully and in relief, “That’s good…I don’t know what I would do if that was really happening to someone. That’s so sad.” “What would you do if it was true?” Humming in deep thought I tightened my hold on him, “I would hug him sooo tightly!” Ji Dwi hugs me just as tightly, “You have a good heart.” For all my life I always heard that from others but I never really understood what made me different from the rest, “No I’m only human…I don’t understand why people always tell me that. Doesn’t it make sense though? Why treat someone poorly based on circumstances that they were born with. They can’t help it!” Ji Dwi pats my head in a soothing manner attempting to calm me down, I don’t understand why my emotions were bursting left and right I was usually pretty good at holding it in. Maybe the talk with Han Sung earlier made me feel more defensive about the topic. “Having a good heart should be the norm but it isn’t. That is why you are praised (Y/n). We need more people like you in this world. Especially those who will be leaders,” he explains warmly caressing my (h/c) locks, his voice cracks, “I need people like you in this world.”

“I shall make a promise with you like I did with Han Sung, once I take my throne I will make it all right. I’m going to destroy the True Bone hierarchy, it’s only good for dividing people within a Kingdom and we don’t need that when true success is where everyone is equal,” taking a deep breath I continued, “Does that sound promising?” Ji Dwi never gave me a verbal response but the sealing of our lips meant much more than a ‘yes’. “How can you just break away from traditions so easily? Don’t you fear the results in doing so?” He questions showing his genuine concern but peaking interest to my proposal. “There is nothing more to fear than the injustice that is ruling our every action and thought. I will take the risk of being hated and threatened to make my Kingdom right.” Ji Dwi nods satisfied with my answer, “Very well, then I’ll be there with you every step of the way to make that happen.” “Then I cannot be anymore sure that everything will work out with you by my side!”

I wasn’t sure when I accidently drifted to sleep but when I opened my eyes it was already bright out. That was strange that I ended up sleeping until this late, the sun was already high up in the sky. What was even stranger was that Ji Dwi didn’t wake me up…and importantly Seyeo who never let me sleep past two hours after sun rise. Over sleeping I was groggy but I needed to get ready to help Han Sung with sword fighting, and hopefully be able to get a quick meal in before that. Throwing on a navy blue hanbok and some gold accented embellishments I quickly left my single room, no matter how much I didn’t want to admit it I wanted to dress better to impress Ji Dwi even though it was silly. He would never care about such materialistic factors but nonetheless it made me happy to wear nicer clothes once in a while. Running into the dinning hall I quickly grab a steamed bun before joining the last few minutes of the intensive sword training. My eyes caught Ji Dwi glancing over to me so I waved gleefully at him which he responded with a small smile and a nod. When they ended I quickly joined Han Sung to keep up with my promise. What I didn’t expect was his dramatic pouty face, and that he didn’t voice his problems immediately. “W-What’s wrong Han Sung?” I nervously ask dipping my head to get a better view of his face. He whines with scrunched up features, “You weren’t here to watch me at practice! I was so good!” I laugh whole heartedly in relief that he wasn’t upset over something serious, “I’m sorry Han Sung, I slept in. I’ll watch you tomorrow okay? I promise.” He raises a brow and holds out his pinky finger, “Promise?” “Promise.”

After practice Han Sung mentioned jerky and that’s when I realized that I haven’t seen Seyeo all morning. Which was very odd since he was usually always by my side unless I was with Ji Dwi. Slightly concerned was an understatement I searched the entire Hwarang house for my best friend to no luck. Even asking around no one had a clue to where he went. Sighing in defeat I returned back to my temporary room to collect my thoughts that were spewing with, very unlikely, but worse case scenarios regarding the mysterious disappearance of Seyeo.

Plopping down by the small table I noticed a small envelop on the usually empty surface. Cautiously I opened the envelop to reveal a folded note that held two sentences that immediately caused my blood to run ice cold. If you want him back in one piece go to the Inn. Fear not, every hour you make me wait I will send a piece of him back to you so you won’t be lonely. I couldn’t hear my surroundings as my quickening pulse drowned out any sound in my ears. Scrunching the note I threw it back onto the table along with all the accessories I wore. I was going in for a fight regardless of this person’s intentions, there would be no room for treaty after having the nerve to send me such a letter. Strapping on two swords at my hip I didn’t waste any time dashing out of the Hwarang house. There was a nagging at the back of my brain saying that I should’ve told someone, someone like Ji Dwi but I didn’t have time to dwell on it as I already weaved my way through half of the capital nearing the Inn. Out of breath I made it to the entrance, it was hard to calm down as anxiety took over. What a waited for me on the other side of the paper wall? I just prayed that Seyeo was in one piece and alive. Taking deep breaths I wrap my hand around the hilt of one of my swords and it instantly evened out my ragged breaths. With both swords in hand I slammed the door open with the hilt of my sword stepping in and I saw red, literally. A ceramic pot collided with my temple and blood quickly bled down into my vision. With my impaired I blindly waved my sword, allowing me to slash my assaulter’s arm. It was hard to process anything with a blurring vision but I could make out a bounded Seyeo on the ground. “Let him go,” I order pointing my sword at the man who stood behind him as he drew his sword and held it against Seyeo’s throat. “Drop your weapon or I’ll drop his head,” he hisses. I was reluctant to, of course, I was a fighter and I wasn’t one to be cornered helpless. But I instantly dropped my swords when Seyeo winced when the blade at his neck dug into his skin. Instantly I was shoved into the ground by the man I attacked earlier, successfully smacking my injured forehead into the ground. I held back my scream and took deep breaths, I had to collect myself, if I let fear consume me now I would be useless to Seyeo. With my cheek pressed against the ground I steal a glance at him and I was relieved that he wasn’t missing any body parts. Our eyes lock momentarily and he whispers, “You shouldn’t have came.” “And you shouldn’t have gotten kidnapped you idiot,” I spat back. We could’ve continued to bicker for another ten years but we both fell silent when the sliding door opened.

Biting my lip I raise my head and sat up straight, trying my best to ignore the plitter platter of blood droplets on the hardwood ground that continuously oozed out of my head. “Sorry I had to do that, I know it would be hard to keep you still if you didn’t suffer a serious injury,” a familiar voice coos. A soft hand lifted my chin and there was the Queen in all her glory. “What’s the meaning of this?” I ask evenly and she smiles her usual smile that never reaches her eyes. “My son wants to marry you and I can’t have that. He insists that he will follow you to the end of the world so the only way I could think of to solve this issue is to remove you, completely.” I scoff with a light chuckle, “That is absurd, I never met the man.” The Queen tilts my head side to side which really didn’t help with my pounding headache, “I really don’t see what he sees in you Princess…no Queen (Y/n).” I smack her hand away and instantly I felt cold steel against my neck, “And I demand you to let me and my servant go.” It was the Queens turn to laugh, “That’s where I have the upper hand. He’s not your servant, he’s like a brother to you,” she waves her hand and one of the men swung his sword towards Seyeo’s neck. I scream and grasp onto her hands, “No please! I’ll do anything. Just kill me he has nothing to do with this. Send him back home, he won’t tell anyone about this. He will say that I got sick and passed…just…don’t hurt him.” The sword never met with Seyeo’s neck and hot tears streamed down my face in relief, I could see him in my peripheral and he was shaking his head begging for me to just leave him. I close my eyes so I couldn’t see his tears, I never seen him cry before and I didn’t want to now. “I offer you my head, hang it up wherever you please. Just promise me that you won’t hurt him.” The Queen smiles, “Of course, I’m understanding. Just be good for me and I won’t hurt him. But I warn you, pull anything and his head will hit the floor faster than you can beg.” Gazing at her unwavering face I nod and sit up confidently, “I understand.” “However,” she starts, “Since you caused me so much trouble I won’t kill you so easily.” I silently stare into her eyes as she tugged at my hanbok causing the fabric to slide off my shoulders, “My son always listens to me, and it upsets me that he will ignore my orders for someone like you.” I grasp the fabric against my chest to keep it closed, trying to save the little dignity I had left. Seyeo pleads for the Queen to stop when she held a whip in her hand. “Please your Majesty, can he leave the room before we start?” Without an answer she flicks the whip, surprising me when the skin on my back split. I squeeze my eyes shut, biting my lip. Not allowing me to catch a breath she threw back her whip and slashed again. I grit my teeth, refusing to show weakness, refusing to cry or scream. By the sixth slash I felt light headed, by the tenth I started to shake but I still refused cower away. She stops for a moment, “Why aren’t you afraid?” Sitting up right once more I try to speak evenly, “I don’t fear death, the only fear I have is to see people like you rule.” I say lifting my head and turning slightly so that I could see her fuming face, I smirk at her, unwavering as she brought her whip down once more. Out of anger she grabs the discarded sword from the ground and brings it over her head. Spitting out the blood that collected in my throat I smirk up at her once more, “People who live in fear are the most dangerous. And you are the perfect example of that your Majesty. I feel sorry for Silla and it’s faceless King.”

She lowers the blade and I finally allowed fear to consume me, I closed my eyes.

Metal clacked against metal, the final blow never came.

“Mother.”

“Billie?” Dean spoke with confusion in his eyes. “What are you doing here?”

You frowned, shifting your look from the woman and turning to Dean. “You know her?”

“Yeah,” Dean said without looking at you. “She’s a reaper.”

You turned to glance at Billie who gave you an non bothered and sassy look. She smirked tucking her hands inside her jeans pockets.

“I’m doing my job,” Billie told Dean.

Dean scoffed, standing straight, “Well, I’m not dead yet.”

“Shame,” Billie smirked, “but actually, I just finished inside. I was reaping a fresh soul”

You glared at the house and turned to Billie. “Fresh soul?” You muttered and began to walk towards the house. You tried to open the door but it was locked down.

“Sam?!” Dean joined you, “Sammy?!”

“You two can huff and puff but that house is on supernatural lockdown.” Billie spoke behind the two of you. “They can’t even hear you.”

You turned to her, “You got in… You can get us in!”

“I mean I could… I suppose, but-”

“Do it!” You and Dean snapped at the same time.

“But,” Billie cocked an eyebrow, “it’s a one-way ticket. And you’re gonna owe me one.”

“You are freaking gorgeous,” you heard someone say when you walked onto the set. You were eight months pregnant, feeling huge, but somehow someone always made you smile and feel beautiful.

You turned to see Richard walking toward you, “Thanks, Speight,” you smiled at him, putting your hand on your belly.

“Before you know it, your little girl will be here,” Richard said.

           “I know. J and I can’t wait.”

“I bet. How long is your break from the show?”

“Well, I’ve already been gone for the last part of this season. And I’ll probably miss the first part of next season. But I’ll be back,” I said, “I can’t just leave. This place is my home. I miss filming.”

“We all miss you being here to film,” he said.

“Is that my wife and little girl?” Jensen asked, seeing you walking toward him with Richard, “And Richard?” he chuckled.

           “Sure is,” you nodded.

“All I’m saying is, Gorillaz is amazing.”

Nico laughed, shuffling through the Mythomagic cards in his hands. He came across a general satyr card and sighed, throwing it down. He had like, ten of those already and they didn’t even have good defense. “I don’t deny that. I think so too. The new stuff is great, I just prefer… Mika or Sia or…”

It was Will’s turn to laugh. “Or Lady Gaga.”

Nico tossed a card at Will’s chest the way a skilled performer throws a dagger, but it bounced harmlessly off his binder (which was printed to look like golden sequins, Nico hadn’t failed to notice, as if it were possible to look past it. “So extra,” he’d said, making Will laugh the response “In proper homage to my father.”) and landed on his boxer-clad thigh. “A fact you will be taking to your grave, Sunshine.”

Smiling crookedly, Will put down his tangle to toss the card back, pinching Nico’s tummy through his shirt using only his toes. The way they were sitting, facing each other between the bunks of Cabin 13, legs tangled contentedly like they’d been lovers for years instead of the two or three months that they’d really been together, made this much easier.

“Ow!” Nico squeaked, laughing. “No fair! You have mean toes and body armor.” He jabbed a finger at Will’s chest, stopping just short of hitting it to give it a small, gentle tap. “Shouldn’t you be taking this off soon, anyways? You’ve been wearing it all day.”

Nico himself had already had his binder off for the entire time they’d been in the cabin, had taken it off as soon as they’d changed into sleepwear. Will wasn’t changed entirely yet, had simply stripped down until he was more comfortable.

Will sighed. “Yeah, I guess. Dysphoria has been kicking my pretty-boy behind today… It’s weird how some days, I can go out without binding, maybe even while wearing a dress, and be so secure in my masculinity, and then there’s days like these…”

“Days where you can hardly stand to look at yourself.” Nico understood. Oh, how he understood.

Another sigh. “Yeah, exactly.”

To try and give some kind of comfort, Nico pressed his sock-clad foot gently against Will’s leg. He opened his mouth, struggled a bit before closing it again and looking down at his cards, deep in thought. He cleared his throat, then asked, “Would you like me to shadow-travel and get your Star Trek onesie? It’s big and cozy and it makes you look pretty flat.”

Will smiled, looking down bashfully at the gesture, peering up at Nico through his eyelashes. “You know I don’t like it when you shadow-travel.”

In Nico’s ears, that sounded very much like a yes. “I know you don’t. But I don’t like when my extremely handsome boyfriend is sad, so… I win!” He stood, then stooped down to give Will a wet kiss on the cheek, which made him snort and giggle in the back of his throat. “Be right back, babe.”

Will picked his tangle toy back up, sighing. It was black and halfway curled into a neat coil from where he’d set it down a moment ago and Nico could tell he was happy to have it back in his hands. “Be careful not to wake Austin and Kayla, okay? And don’t over-exert yourself, wait a few minutes in my cabin if you have to.” His head shot up so his eyes could meet Nico’s, intensity there in those vividly blue eyes. “And-”

“And, and, and,” Nico said teasingly, “I know, Will. I’ll be careful. I love you.”

Will sighed the sigh of a very weary man, but it was all for show. “I love you too, Angel.”

And with that, Nico moved into the darkness, disappearing into shadow.

“Dork,” Will mumbled to himself, smiling. He already missed him.

i may have been listening to gorillaz the entire time writing this and yes, i added trans nico. because im gay…. also, i used to think tangle toys looked frustrating, but now that im actually Looking, i super want one?? so im living vicariously through this fic (as well as projecting my dysphoria asklaf)

thank you for sending an ask! and sorry for getting to it so late aaa, but ask/requests are always open!! i love getting requests like these *dances awkwardly to stylo* - mod will

STUFF I LOVED (EVEN IF IT MIGHT HAVE MADE ME CRY) IN SUPERGIRL 219 – a list i made myself

  • “those firsts that you talked about? i want to have them all with you. i never want to stop having firsts with you.”
    • okay yes also the i love yous, but damn that was a good line.
    • i don’t even have the words, i’m a pile of mush.
    • as creepy as it was that that guy was watching them, and manipulating the fuck out of maggie, he really did nail that maggie’s heart eyes can be seen from space.
    • alex wants to name a dog gertrude. okay girl, you almost died so you get a free pass.
    • J’ONN HAS THREE DAUGHTERS NOW, AND HE’S PRETTY HAPPY ABOUT THAT.
    • floriana was clearly sick the weeks they filmed this, and her sick little voice just made everything hurt.
    • I AM A PILE OF MUSH 😘
  • “i’m listening for her. i can’t hear anything. i can do all these incredible things but i can’t punch my way out of this or fly fast enough and turn back time. and i’m afraid that i’m going to lose the person that’s most important to me.”
    • this was, man. dreamy sigh. almost* perfect. when this show is good it’s just so very good, and this line reads cheesy on the page, but melissa nailed it to the wall like the 2x4 that it is. kara is at her best when she’s an observer of humanity. that’s always been true.*
    • “to us, kara.”
      • this, all on its own, was enough to draw out how single minded to the point of selfishness kara sometimes is, but how easily she can be pulled back from that. this entire scene was masterful and reminded me how much i love and miss kara and j’onn together.
  • “what?! no, get in here.”
    • ENDED SO GOOD, STARTED SO BAD.*
    • one day kara and maggie will realise that they’re so incredibly alike, and alex is going to be in big trouble.
      • kara punches first, and if that doesn’t work she uses her words. (she should probably at some point for real learn not to do that.) maggie uses her words, and if they don’t work then she busts people out of prison or sends her gf off to her possible death. (this is not actually a good thing either!) honestly.
  • “and just in time for dinner.”
    • ALEX CAN’T COOK.
    • kara danvers endorses pineapple on pizza because she understands what is good about this planet.
      • kara’s dinnertime cardigan: CONTENDER #1 FOR OUTFIT OF THE EPISODE.
    • NO ONE ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION, MON-EL.
    • that guy was clearly into teenage alex and probably still was, and yet they 100% resisted the temptation to make him a homophobe and honestly THANK YOU.
    • will gregg henry ever be anyone but russell fabray to me? i guess we’ll have to check in again in another five years.
    • who knows that kara danvers is supergirl? “the DEO.” oh, kara, honey.
      • (oh for there to have been a, “and maybe cat, but…?”)
    • IS IT TIME TO TALK ABOUT LENA NOW?
      • IT’S TIME TO TALK ABOUT LENA NOW.
      • THE ALIEN DETECTION DEVICE RETURNS! AND IT WORKS.
        • (i’m never letting this thing go. i demand explanations. i must be furnished with enough informations to be able to make an actual call on where lena luthor stands on what constitutes the fundamental rights of an individual.)
      • that was a date lena and rhea went on. they can talk about mothers and children all they want, that was a date. a very gay date.
      • (RIP LENA WENT TO PARIS FOR SCHOOL. THE PRICE OF THAT DREAM IS LENA WENT TO SCHOOL JUST A CHARLES RIVER AWAY FROM THE HOME OF THE RED SOX. I’M PRETTY OKAY WITH THAT 😍)
      • lena knew rhea was an alien after a single slip that would not be out of place amongst lesbians over the age of 40. either lena is a terrible baby gay or she knows kara is supergirl. there are no other options here, THEY MUST CHOOSE ONE.
      • i’m 500% spoiled for where this plot is going, and after this episode I REMAIN EXCITED.
      • kara and lena call each other on the telephone to talk to each other with words from their mouths. according to the laws of communication between peers under the age of 30, they’re married now. marrieds who go on brunch dates that sometimes involve kale and sometimes do not.
  • *with a few season-long tweaks this episode could have been perfect.
    • because up to the water’s edge (PUN INTENDED) it was. at the very least it was the best episode this season, and it was the rest of the season that let it down.
    • it could have (should have) been the culmination of kara losing her job, losing her sister, losing herself in being the public perception of supergirl. their misstep was not laying the groundwork and expecting two key pieces of backstory to simply be accepted.
      • the supergirl defence? okay???
      • maggie not being 100% team supergirl? okay????????
    • if only they had used kara’s period of funemployment to actually have kara leaning into a life of only being supergirl, instead of setting that up and then never following through. if only they’d actually ever shown her alienating herself from the people she protects, because tbh this whole supergirl defence thing sounds like it should have been a multi-episode arc all on its own, and one that i really would enjoy the heck out of. if only for one second before this episode they had shown maggie to have any kind of disagreement with kara’s superheroing. (context didn’t make this disagreement any more tolerable to me. in fact the concocted backstory made it worse because they had the chance to show it and then never did. so instead, much like it did to kara, maggie blurting this shit out seemed to come out of nowhere, and just made it seem like she was pissed off that she didn’t get to save the day. maggie sawyer’s one true characteristic is being a communicator. that is literally her whole thing this episode again. that shit is her jam. but it’s also kara’s. supergirl talks people down in the end far more than she punches their lights out. kara is a reporter. kara is a person who uses her words, just like maggie. not laying the groundwork here did both maggie and kara a huge disservice.) if only kara hadn’t been absent from so much of the plot all season that these threads were there to pull together ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    • (this could honestly have been a season finale. but that would have made me actually worry for alex’s safety and tbh i’m very glad not to have had to live through that. #LESBIANLIVES.)
  • i could have gone my whole life without watching alex slice her own arm open to pull that tracker out. alas, i will not get to live that life anymore.

Merlin appreciation post. I’m in love with this gorgeous man, and so are Eggsy and Harry.

This man looked like Merlin, but Eggsy was sure as hell that he had never seen this person before.

No clipboard. Cunning smile with a tricky glance. A casual black suit. A black polo with few undone buttons. A polo, which fabric stretched across his chest each time he moved, widening the edges of its collar and showing even more of an outlined collarbone with each move. And, of course, the jawline of a hunting dog.

Perhaps it was the variety of creatures one could find there, or maybe it was simply the comforting hum of the unhurried bustle. Upstairs children tugged their mothers coats, pleading for this or that, holding some picture book or comic in their hands. Across from them, tables were hidden between the shelves with college students craning over themselves in strange angles, their hands flying across the page. They slaved away for the whole day with stacks of books beside them: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, biography, cooking, religion, philosophy, you name it– it sat patiently beside them, not even begging for attention. Just the fact that they had been selected from the shelf was enough. Downstairs, where I sat now, the cafe murmured with a gentle pace. Whatever it was about this place, the bookstore always housed my favorite models.

Beside me, in a table for two, a man slammed his stack of books down. He wore all black, topped even with a black beanie, a laptop bag draped from his shoulder. He mumbled an apology to no one in particular and neatened his stack of books, ordering them by size: The Owl Service, Almost Transparent Blue, Man Box. My hands searched idly for the surface of the paper.

He pulled his laptop out of his bag, clearing his throat as he opened it. I glanced over at him, a gasp nearly dropping from my lips as I recognized him. Kim Namjoon. Otherwise known as Rap Monster, but in my head, he was just Joonie. I tucked my strands of my hair behind my ear, hoping that if he looked this way he might at least go home remembering the cute girl who sat next to him at the bookstore cafe.

You were absolutely shocked at the amount of people lined up outside the auditorium. It was about midday and there were thousands of people waiting in line. You were sure that the judges would have made it through at least half of the contestants and yet it looked as if there was barely a dent in it.

Wandering inside you were escorted by the producers to the backstage area. “Ah Oppa” you waved seeing Sunghwa.

“Hey” he gave you a weak smile.

“You look exhausted”

He raked his hand through his hair. “There’s so many people that they’re splitting judging into two days. And I thought the contestants were weird last year…”

“How bad could it be?”

———–

I’m not a funny girl, I just say stuff. On the other hand, I’m quite clumsy and very spontaneous. Those abilities were part of the decision of giving me a radio show. I had worked hard for it, I loved the idea of being part of the laughs in the middle of the rush hour. I liked make people happy.

“Hey, babe, how’s it going?” Chris asked. I smiled. This man made my clumsiness and fan girl goes from zero to one thousand. He was just getting home after a long, long press tour. Well, it was two weeks that felt like forever.

“I’m still at work. Missing you. And also about to go crazy because today’s guest decided to cancel” I sighed. I heard his amusing laugh.

“Hey, it’s not funny! I have thirty minutes or less to get someone in the show. I should actually hang up. I’ll see you in a bit, because I’m going to lose my job, yay! Love you”

“You’re crazy, woman. I love you too”. After that, I started to scroll on my contacts list. Shit. I was so screwed.

“Y/n? We have someone, he’s going to be here soon” my producer told, I sighed.

“That’s good! Who am I going to introduce?” he smiled.

“Chris Evans”

——

“You set me up!” I told him when I saw him walking on the studio. He didn’t pay attention to my complaining. He grabbed me and kissed me. it was one of those kissed. Where your jead goes backward, his hands around my waist. He smiled against my lips. Yep. It was one of those kiss that takes you back to life.

“I missed you so much, I wanted to see you as soon as possible. Can you blame a man that it’s so in love?” I smiled and put my arms around his neck. I was so hypnotized by him.

“Of course not” he leaned and almost touch my lips.

“On air in one minute” I heard someone. He kissed my forehead and grabbed my hand. This was going to be interesting.

——

“And that was the amazing Adele, I’m such a fan. But you already knew that since I play in every block. Also, there’s someone that knows that, our today’s guest, the one and only, just like Adele’s song, Chris Evans. Welcome, captain” I said. He laughed.

“Thank you for having me and I do. I know that. God” he sighed “I know that” he repeated and we both laughed.

“Hello, everyone, this is y/n in the company of Chris Evans who turns out to have another blockbuster” I added and the phones started to ring like crazy.

“It’s not a big deal. But it’s a great movie. You should go to watch it”

“Oh, I’d love to, but my boyfriend’s never here, can you believe that? I can’t go to the movies without him”

“Bastard!” he replied.

“Alright, Chris, let’s take a call. Hello, this is y/n and Chris Evans”

“Oh my God, you’re like the cutest couple ever, you’re relationship goals forever” a girl said almost too fast. Was she even breathing?

“Well, have you seen her? She’s got the cutest on her own, I just smile” Chris spoke. I felt an “aww” running through my body.

“I agree. What’s your name, doll?”

“Sara”

“Hello, Sara” we both said.

“Oh, my God. I can’t believe this” she started again and Chris laughed.

“To make it more believable, ask anything you’d like to know” I added. I admired Chris, even when he was sitting a bit away from me, he was in the right spot to be looked at. He was wearing his Boston cap, old jeans and grown beard.

“How did you realize you were in love with her, Chris?” I wide-opened my eyes.

“Yeah, Chris? How did you?” I cheered and put my elbow in the table and used my hand as support for my face.

“That’s easy. She was making pancakes. I remember that day. I got straight to her home after a while of being away. We never missed communication. We always talked on the phone and in one conversation, I told her that I wanted to bad pancakes. So, when I got to her place. She’d invited me for dinner. And that was our dinner. I loved how she was dancing while cooking. I felt like I could watch that forever, you know? And knowing that she’d take care of me through the smallest details was just wonderful” I was looking at him while I held my breath. I remembered that moment. We were friends back then. He was just getting started with the whole Captain America phenomenon.

“Oh, my God! That’s like the sweetest story ever, guys, congratulations”

“Thank you!” we spoke at the same time.

“Alright, I bet you still have a lot of questions, but let’s move to the music. Here’s Ed Sheeran with his newest hit, we’ll be back, don’t move!” the on air sign turned off. I sighed. I stood up just to kiss Chris. I heard a bunch of awwws and I smiled against his lips.

“I didn’t know”

“That’s how I remember you when I’m away”

“That happened when we were best friends” I added. He smiled.

“I know, it’s funny, huh? I guess I realized how happy and lucky I was to have you in my life even when I was overseas, but I confirmed it that very moment” I kissed him and got back to my place when I saw the signs of my producer.

“And we’re back as I promised. Here’s Chris Evans as my secretary, so make your calls, let’s see who’s on the line, hello?” I spoke fast.

“Hello, this is Anna”

“Hey, Anna? How are you?” Chris asked.

“Great, I can’t believe I’m talking to you!”

“Well, you are!” he laughed and settled on his chair. His hand ran through his beard. He was playing with a bottle of water.

“But, the question is for y/n” I threw my hands in the air.

“Ha! In your face, Evans. Shoot, Anna” I laughed while I looked at Chris.

“What is like being in love with Chris Evans?” I thought my answer.

“Well, it’s very easy. Before getting into this relationship, we had a friendship, so we already knew all the crap that makes relationships fall apart. And he is different from most men I know. I realized that this is what actually feels like falling in love. He has shown me when someone cares, that love it’s not only about making sacrifices. It’s taking risks together, growing together, and being silly together. He’s easy to love. And come on! Have you seen him?” I laughed.

“Anna?” he questioned. “I’m going to kiss my girlfriend, because I love how corny she is and how red her cheeks are turning” now, he stood up and kissed.

“You’re so sweet!” she screamed.

“Thank you, hope you call soon, honey!” I added. God. This was so crazy. But I knew something for sure. He was my mate. My better half.

“What?” he asked.

“Nothing, I just love you” I said “and I just said that on air. Let’s go to commercials, we’ll be back with the newest, coolest, Adelest hits.”

“I love you too!” Chris screamed before we were off air.

19) You ride the subway every morning, not talking to your bias who sits beside you day after day. You begin talking when your morning commute doesn’t go as planned.

Member: Got7′s JB x Y/N

Type: fluff/angst

You heaved a sigh as you shifted your weight from one foot to the other. It was early still, the station half empty with only a few salary men wandering around the platforms, anxious to begin their day. You looked up, the sensation of being watched heavy on your shoulders.

Normally, being a woman in a big city, you were always wary of men who sat too close, stared a little too long, or in general entered the box of personal space you had designated yourself. Seoul ranked twelfth in the world on a list of the most dangerous cities for women to ride public transportation systems, but this wasn’t a thought you wanted to constantly reflect on. For a city that was in general one of the safest you had ever lived in, the subway systems still caused you to bristle up, overtly aware of every person who came too close for comfort.

You looked around slowly, careful not to make any eye contact with those around you. If you looked into the eyes of one of the salary men, it was almost guaranteed that they would take it as an invitation to pester you.

For a moment, your eyes froze, meeting up with a man around your age. You didn’t know his name, nor had you ever asked, but you were very aware of his presence. He was easily one of the most good looking individuals you had the pleasure of seeing on a daily basis. You quietly coexisted, riding the train every morning side by side. He flashed you a brief smile before looking back down at the worn novel in his hands. You nodded to yourself, biting your lip at the small exchange. Quietly telling your stomach to calm from the butterflies he had stirred up, you readjusted your book bag, urging your train to arrive.

You winced, noticing a different man in your peripherals standing from a bench just out of your direct sight. He slowly waddled toward you, round faced and much older. You hissed out a breath between your teeth, praying to every God you could think of to keep this creep from entering your personal space. You glanced up slowly, catching your reflection in the sleek glass doors that kept passengers from the open subway lines until the train arrived. In doing so, you caught his reflection as well, his body so close you could smell his body odor.

HIs eyes were fixed on you, unafraid as he stared into the glass. As the only two individuals in the front section of the platform, the hairs on your neck bristled up with unease. You looked over warily to a very evident sign posted, warning men to not sexually harass women, a small stick figure included. So much for that.

The man moved a bit closer, the front of his body nearly rubbing the back of yours. You shut your eyes, quietly reminding yourself of self control and turned, eying the man with a glare. The man’s eyes widened and he slowly took a step back until you turned back around, focusing on the glass doors again. The subway alert sounded, signaling the next train’s arrival.

Thank God.

Just as the doors began to open, you decided to take a quick sidestep, wandering to a different train car to get into. Surely this man wouldn’t have the audacity to follow you halfway down a subway platform. You took a corner seat near an exit and settled in, hardly believing your eyes as your unwanted companion had entered through the same doors, seating himself beside you, ignoring the near desolate car around you.

You thought you were going to openly cry in public. You had never been so frightened in your entire stint in living in Korea.

“Excuse me sir,” a deep voice said calmly above you. You looked up, noticing the familiar, yet handsome stranger you had made eye contact with earlier. He clutched his novel, his knuckles near white from his grip. “I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but may I take the seat next to my girlfriend?”

The salary man remained quiet for a moment, looking from him to you. He nodded briefly before pulling himself to his feet and sitting in the set of seats across from you.

The young man plopped down beside you without hesitation, placing a careful arm behind your shoulders to rest on the seat without touching you.

“Hey babe,” he said, just loudly enough for the man to hear across the isle. “How was your morning?”

You looked up through your lashes at him, hoping to convey a silent thank you. “Productive, I got a lot done before heading to work today.”

“Good, good,” he nodded with a small smile. “You’re taking the four o clock train home, right? I’ll meet you at the station.”

You looked up from your hands in your lap and over to the man across from you. He continued to watch carefully as you and the stranger conversed. “Yes, four o clock,” you repeated.

“I’m Jaebum by the way,” the stranger whispered below his breath, shooting a careful look to the older man as well. “Sorry if this is a bit much.”

“Y/N,” you nodded quietly. “I’ve missed you Jaebummie,” switching your tone to speak loud enough for the man to hear.

“You saw me yesterday,” Jaebum smiled, having to stop himself from rolling his eyes.

“Even too much is never enough,” you chuckled, so thankful for his presence. The stranger stood, shaking his head as he shuffled down the subway car that had launched forward. Nearly falling over, he struggled down the car, taking a spot much further down from you.

“What a disgusting human,” Jaebum grumbled, now able to talk normally with your newfound freedom. “You know he’s been watching you for the past week?”

“He…what?” you croaked, angling yourself to face Jaebum.

“I mean, inadvertently I’ve also been watching you for the past week, but I feel like I’m significantly less creepy,” Jaebum muttered, shooting a dirty look at the man.

“How did you notice?” you said carefully.

“Well, I like to be at least minimally aware of my surroundings,” he sighed. “I tend to get lost in a novel I’m reading, but I don’t want to miss my train-”

“That’s why there’s an alert,” you muttered, but immediately felt bad for interrupting.

“You don’t know my focus,” Jaebum smiled. “But as I’m reading, about every five minutes I’ll do a casual sweep of the platform. This guy didn’t start showing up until recently, so I’m guessing he’s gotten a new job…or switched his commute habit because he saw something he liked…

…or someone.”

A shiver ran down your spine as you listened to Jaebum speak. You couldn’t help yourself as you glanced to the man at the end of the train, his eyes never leaving the two of you.

“I never thought he’d have the nerve to actually approach you though,” Jaebum sighed. “What did he say?”

“Nothing,” you shrugged. “He never said a word.”

“He was practically sitting on top of you!” he gasped. “I even saw your little diversion tactic. Quick on your feet.”

“Thanks,” you grumbled. “Not like it mattered much. I was a damsel in distress without even realizing…I thought I could handle myself.”

“When push comes to shove, I’m sure you can,” Jaebum nodded. “But I didn’t want push to come to shove. Not while I’m just idly standing by.”

“You’re a real gentleman, Jaebum,” you smiled. “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.”

“Gentlemen Jay,” he smiled, waggling his eyebrows. “I don’t have any sisters…but I do have a mother…I would hope for someone to protect her if they were in that situation as well.”

You nodded, realizing you were easily becoming wrapped up in this man’s smile. If you would have know what a wonderful spirit he had, you would’ve talked to him much sooner than now, not allowing for a traumatic event to bring you closer.

“Now when do you head home?” Jaebum asked.

“Why?” you sighed, looking at him curiously.

“Well, we get off at the same spot, so I’m assuming we’ll be around the same area. I don’t know if we’ll head back at the same time, but if you don’t mind, I can send one of my friends to ride along with you,” Jaebum hummed. “I’ve got this friend Jackson, very into chivalry, would lay his life on the line for you if he had-”

“Jaebum,” you chuckled, immediately shaking your head. “We’ve only just met, I don’t want to be an inconvenience.”

“If something were to happen to you…at the hands of him,” he sighed. “That would sit on my conscience for the rest of eternity, Y/N. Please…just let me arrange something…”

“No,” you repeated. “I’m fine.”

“Okay, maybe you don’t need someone riding home with you,” Jaebum continued. “But you’ll take my number and use it if anything gets a little sketchy, right?”

Your heart leapt at the thought of having Jaebum’s phone number in the depths of your mobile. You quickly nodded, snatching the opportunity in case it wasn’t presented again in the future. You fished your phone from you purse, handing it to JB as he typed quickly into it.

“And of course you’ll let me sit with you in the mornings,” he sighed, handing you back your phone. “At least until this creep picks a new route.”

You smiled, feelings your cheeks become warm with all of his concern. “Why are you being so nice?”

“To be honest?” Jaebum said quietly. “I noticed you a lot longer than he did.”

“Oh, so this is a weird territorial thing?” you asked, furrowing your brows.

“No, well, I don’t want it to sounds as gross as that,” Jaebum laughed. You smiled at the sound. “I’ve just…I’ve been fond of you without ever actually realizing I was. You’re an oddly soothing, unchanging factor in my shifting life. I can always count on the pretty girl to be standing at the subway every morning, backpack over her shoulder, and hairs out of place.”

He reached up, poetically tucking a tendril behind your ear. He grinned, his eyes turning into crescents. “Trains come and go…but you’re my constant.”
