Sherlock Seattle Con 2012
We had spun tall tales and half-truths to our loved ones and others to explain our need to migrate to the West. Once reunited with our people we spoke in the mother tongue and used flailing hand gestures to communicate. We used our true names and high-pitched sounds were used as unified emotional expressions. We shared our stories, and spoke of the million different tales all sprung from the One source. When the gathering time came to an end, we all hoped that in four season’s time the Great Goddess Mamishka would have the strength to bring us back to the West again. Our time together would not be forgotten.
