What do you think are the key differences between a boudoir and a bachelor pad? I am writing about John Lautner, and bachelor pads by extension

A boudoir is a woman’s private sitting room or salon in a furnished accommodation usually between the dining room and the bedroom, but can also refer to a woman’s private bedroom. The man’s equivalent is the cabinet. Both exist in a dwelling where a woman and a man are married and living together. 

The bachelor pad was at its height the symbol of the 1960s cosmopolitan male, and in that respect Hollywood still uses some of John Lautner’s designs as the ultimate bachelor pad in movies. In this case the man is single and I guess lives a life of class and luxury.
