Tbh I think the fucking writers for free enjoy watching us suffer.
“Yes let’s make them ship these too.” “Ha, excellent…beat around the bush, wait! Don’t beat it! They will have too much, you need to brush the bush. Softly.”
Mornings always started the same. His alarm woke him promptly at 5:15, the repetitive buzz jarring him from slumber as he fumbled to turn off the incessant noise. His eyes would crack open, leaving him blinking blearily at the ceiling for a few minutes before he drug himself out of bed. Still sluggish, he pulled on a pair of workout pants, a tank top, and tennis shoes and headed out the door for his daily one mile jog; it felt wrong to skip it. During said jog, his body moving smoothly and efficiently as it always had, he thought of cases from the day before, of the things he would have to do that day, and how Yamazaki Sousuke, pride of the Tokyo Police Department, would go through another day performing just as he was supposed to.
Okay. So, since Makoto is going to college in Tokyo and Sousuke might be working at his dad’s shop (most likely in Tokyo), wouldn’t it flipping awesome if they ran into each other or something? Like, Makoto needs to stock up whatever supplies college people get (e.g food) and he finds a convenient store that sells a variety of things for a reasonable price. And when he goes to checkout, guess who’s working the counter?~ Hell yeah, it’s Sousuke. They’re definitely surprised at first but begin to have some chit-chat about their lives right now, but as Makoto visits more frequently ( y’know, to ‘stock up on supplies’), it turns into laughter and petty silly conversations about whatever. Anyway, Sousuke notices and deems Makoto his ’ most frequent and favorite customer’. Makoto just blushes like the cutie he is and smiles sheepishly realizing his intentions were seen right through. Of course, the checkout boy finds it totally adorable. So, then, with the new status, Sousuke offers Makoto like a three percent discount and to let him take Makoto out for coffee. Duh, Makoto says yes blah blah blah they end up freaking dating and loving each other and marrying each other because *cough cough* It’s destiny.
Alright. Sorry for the shit but I’m so thirsty for some Soumako interaction you have no fluffing idea.
But all the queerbiting is leaving a hole in mi chest. I ship them SO HARD. Just leaving them as friends makes me feel as if there’s a whole new story they will never tell and untold stories are really sad if you think about it.
So I went and wrote a thing. Again. I’m becoming too obsessed with my AU and the goddamn fic I planned this for has like two sentences.
But enjoy panicking police!Sousuke and brave little hurt Mako-chan-sensei :3
Sousuke knows he looks perfectly calm. He has to, even though this is Makoto’s workplace and there are three guys with fucking guns inside. There are children and there’s Makoto and everyone in there is in danger.
