making of chimera

Flip, I still can’t get over how good of an episode 129 was, and how well they handled Yuya slowly being taken over by Zarc.

This post will just be my random thoughts so please don’t pay mind to any typos, missing words, or how incoherent it may be/is. :”D

Yuya’s internal struggle was portrayed so well.

Like Yuya not talking much, as it goes back to him trying to keep Zarc from taking over, the only times Yuya does talk is if it’s his turn in the Duel or if Zarc is speaking through him.

That moment when Leo almost beat Yuya but then Yuya grabbed an action card, everyone knew that Yuya was in control then, and how after lands he just stood there. He gathered up enough will power to move around quickly and swiftly to save himself but one may have guessed it probably took a toll on him.

Or when after Reiji said that he would save Yuya, we learned that Yuya can’t let his guard for NOTHING or else Zarc would take control, thus that scene with Yuya yelling in pain and then talking about getting back his true form.

Yuya being talked down by Yuzu…people seem to think it was JUST Yuzu but I kinda feel it’s a combination of EVERYONE trying to calm Yuya down though I do think Yuzu’s word made more of an impact. As someone as jokingly(?) “music soothed the beast“ or something along those lines, and yeah in a way it kinda did.

But I feel that there are few reasons why Yuzu’s words had more impact.

1. Yuzu and Yuya are very close, so much that one could probably say they harbor feelings for each other. They care so much for each other, it only makes sense for her words to be stronger

2. Like Yusho basically said, Yuzu and her Counterparts help keep the Yu boys from being near each other. I wouldn’t be surprised if their presence also calmed the boys.

And…this probably goes with the first thing I said, you could just SEE how hurt Yuzu looked. How she was stuck in a tube only to sit and watch her best friend hurting and suffering.

I don’t know, this whole post is just random thoughts of mine. Speaking of which, I kinda feel that the scene where we see Yuya struggling to break free of the card effect, not sure why but I kinda feel that it’s Yuya and Zarc talking.

Either way it’ll be cool to see what Zarc/Yuya does in the next episode and how he’ll break free or what’ll he’ll do.

Theo’s real and fake parents

Theo was 8 when he allowed Tara to die, but Stiles found from the speeding ticket that he was 10 when they left in a hurry, as if running from something.
I believe the Dread Doctors got Theo to kill his sister and then they preformed the heart transplant that would make Theo a genetic Chimera. I don’t think they then made him into a Chimera straight away. I believe they ran tests on him, analysed their new results, then made him into a Chimera. By this time Theo may have told his parents about the doctors who come for him every night to stick needles into him. Theo’s parents would think he was having nightmares after his sister’s death, they would also be grieving.
Each night the Dread Doctors would come, injecting him with the bonding liquid, giving him werewolf and werecoyote DNA, awakening his powers. Theo goes missing one night from his bed and the Sheriff station launches a search for him, they find him in the woods full of mood. He tells the policewoman who is looking after him that the Doctors burred him in there. Theo returns to his parents and again tells his parents about the Doctors who are coming for him.

The Dread Doctors then note Theo down as a success as he hasnt died, nor has he brought up mercury. Theo’s parents start to look into childhood counselling as they believe Theo isnt coping without Tara. His mother had noticed he is crying alot and screaming that it’s his fault. He’s also gone moody and smashing things in his bedroom. She wonders how, as some of the things he has broke are really solid.
The Dread Doctors return again for Theo, they have him sitting on the operating table attacking wires and pads to every part of him, then they turn on their machines. Theo hears a high pitch noise that hurts his ears, then his skin starts tingling. He looks down to see something is happening. “Success” the Dread Doctors keep chanting. Theo panics, fur covering him, his clothes falling off as his body changes into an animal. Theo looks down at black legs, with white toes, his tongue moves over long teeth his nose twitching at the end of a muzzle.
“Failure” The main doctor says, but Theo has already ran before they can stop him. He flees out of the tunnels and into the woods. He runs and he doesn’t stop, he cant turn back, he runs home and claws at the door, his feet making tapping noises on the wood. He opens his mouth to shout his mother, but only a yelping noise comes out. Theo hears footsteps and a light comes on, he hears his father’s voice and its this what makes Theo turn back. As his father opens the door to find the noise Theo falls through the door, his father notices he’s naked and cold. Theo can only say Doctors.
This is enough. He calls his wife to get up and get dressed, he tells Theo to get dressed, bring only the essentials. The parents dont know what is happening but events have unnerved them and it had been going on too long.

They hit the road, Theo sitting numbly in the back seat, knowing they were leaving Tara behind. Theo looked out the window as a police car beeped at them. His father pulled over and the policeman give him a speeding ticket and warned him to drive slower next time. They went off again, but didnt get far.
The Dread Doctors were waiting for them on the road. The car slowed to a stop and it wouldn’t start. The doors wouldnt open. The Dread Doctors smashed the door and took Theo. His mother and father were fighting them. Theo seen it happen, the one with the sword took it out and ran his father through. Theo screamed. Then his mother…

He cried. He fought the Dread Doctors on everything, wouldn’t keep still for their needles. Kicked when they tried touching him. Failure they called him. He cried more until he was exhausted, until he learned there was nobody coming to help him. Nobody came to help him.
Theo calmed down after months of struggling, the Dread Doctors started to explain to him what they were doing. They told him stories of ghost riders on the storm, of all the supernatural creatures out there. They let him see pictures of these beings. He watched as they worked on other children his age and older, watched and learned until he became as cold as them. He didn’t sleep in a bed, he slept on the metal table if it was free, if there was a failed experiment’s body there, he would sleep on the floor. The Dread Doctors moved around to where the Supernatural was strong. Theo moved with them, he never went to school. The Dread Doctors were his teachers and he knew everything from them.

He was 12 when they came, he had spent 4 years being a Chimera, 2 years since his parents were killed before him. He was out of site, watching a man and a woman talking to the Doctors. From time to time, people did seek out the Dread Doctors, from people who were the supernatural or where well connected to somebody who knew the doctors. The woman was sick. Theo could smell it on her. The man had brought her as a last resorted after everything else had failed.  They cured her after a few visits.
On the last visit, the Dread Doctors summoned Theo to them. He came in the room, not sure what was going on. The Dread Doctors told the couple as payment of healing the woman, Theo was to go with them. Theo looked wide eyed at the Doctors, the couple looked at Theo in surprise. The Dread Doctors told them to take Theo as their own son, look after him, but always stay where the Dread Doctors could find them.

Theo and his ‘Parents’ moved into a house close by, whenever the Dreads moved, so did they. He was sent to school. They knew what he was and it scared them in a way, but they got used to him, used to his coldness, his malicious ways. The anger. But they also grew to love him, regardless of his rages and murderous looks. They couldn’t have children of their own, but they had Theo. They cooked for him. Washed his clothes. Got him his first car, give him money so he could buy his own clothes, get his hair cut. He liked to style his hair. He was a good student at school. Good grades. He loved to play on his games console after school. He was their son to them, they had him almost six years when they came to Beacon Hills, with Theo asking them for a perfect forged signature, his fury as the force was noticed, the hammer. They dropped him off at school, they picked him up again. He went out, sometimes returning with other people’s blood on his hands, or his own.

Then he didn’t come home…

They waited for him.
He didn’t return.
They still waited.

Unsure what to do, not knowing where Theo was. Not knowing if he was alive,
they approached the Sheriff station, however they got the idea the Sheriff didnt want to know…

They waited more, until one night they heard the door open when they were in bed. They went to see who it was. There stood Theo. Looking tired. Looking disheveled. His eye shone with sadness. The mother carefully asked the teenager where had he been without trying to sound like she was questioning him. Theo walked up to her, she held her breathe but Theo just put his arms around her. He held onto her and she could feel his weight, as if he couldnt hold himself up. He kept repeating how he thought they had left him… They took Theo into the sitting room to quieten him. He told them the Dread Doctors were gone. That he had seen Tara again. He didn’t want to say anymore. He went into his room and slept fully dressed. The couple looked at each other, happy that their wayward ‘son’ was back.

Greetings from Soufrabi!

Au where Gon, Killua, and Bisky hit replay on Greed Island and everyone is happy forever

People seem to forget that Gon and Killua were 13-14 of age at the time and can be considered the worst age to be at in your life and while saving the world from worst case scenario fast mutating furries you’d think people would give these kids a break about being “problematic”.

The federal government announced plans Thursday to lift a moratorium on funding of certain controversial experiments that use human stem cells to create animal embryos that are partly human.

The National Institutes of Health is proposing a new policy to permit scientists to get federal money to make embryos, known as chimeras, under certain carefully monitored conditions.

The NIH imposed a moratorium on funding these experiments in September because they could raise ethical concerns.

One issue is that scientists might inadvertently create animals that have partly human brains, endowing them with some semblance of human consciousness or human thinking abilities. Another is that they could develop into animals with human sperm and eggs and breed, producing human embryos or fetuses inside animals or hybrid creatures.

But scientists have argued that they could take steps to prevent those outcomes and that the embryos provide invaluable tools for medical research.
