(( Actually I kinda need to post this screencap too because while that other set was why I looked up the scene in the first place, as the video continued to go past it; this statement here caught my eye and just made me stop pretty much everything.
Alex called him “Lord Zetta”.
No slurs or insults or anything, not even just casually going by name like he usually does in that game. No, when faced with what he expected to be their last battle, Alex actually mans up and adresses his rival in a respectful manner.
… And I dunno, I just found that powerful and moving somehow. That despite all the bravado and stuff, there’s real respect right there, and it’s not being denied when it really matters. ))
