AriA’s File

Okay, what is the deal with Aria’s file? What on earth could be her secret? A secret that would put EZRA in jail, and make him pick Nicole over her?

AD says the following to Aria:

“Jessica DiLaurentis kept excellent records. If Ezra knew what was in your file he would definitely choose Nicole, and she would be visiting him in jail.”

Why would something …

  • in ARIAs file
  • put EZRA in jail
  • AND have him pick Nicole

One thing we know for sure is it had to be something that happened BEFORE Jessica’s murder, since it is something Jessica found out.

This can be interpreted in two ways:

  1. Jessica DiLaurentis found something incriminating about Ezra that Aria has kept a secret. But…. why would Ezra hate Aria because of it? Why would Ezra blame Aria if this came out? What is she willing to keep secret about Ezra that she would go against her best friends for? Does Aria know a secret about Ezra that if it came out would put him in jail? Okay, there are a few possibilities here, but why would it make Ezra choose Nicole over Aria? Thats the part I just dont understand. Ezra could be upset that Jessica found out something about him, but why would it make him give up his love for Aria???
  2. Jessica found out something about Aria that would cause Ezra to hate her and to do something that would put him in jail….Is this signifying that Ezra would kill Aria if he found out this secret?

I feel like the following photo is significant. The 4 glasses represent the four main girls, Spencer, Hanna, Aria & Emily.

By shattering a glass, it is a symbol that she is no longer one of them, that she is going against the group to protect whatever is in her file.

The girls have always stuck together, so it has to be something HUGE if she is willing to go over to the dArk side.

(Side Note: I swear to GOD if Marlene messes this up and its something stupid Im going to jump off a cliff)

There has always been something sketchy about Aria. I’ve written a million posts about it and don’t want to go through every little thing again because we’ll be here all day, but I do want to go over a few significant things.

  • Aria and Eddie Lamb

When Aria goes into Radley to get info on Bethany’s old roommate, Eddie Lamb recognizes her and says he feels like they have met before. Aria acts REALLY BIZARRE in this scene. She is obviously hiding something. She has some kind of connection to Radley Sanitarium.

  • Aria and Jason

A part of me has always believed that Jason is A. I have written theories about it. He has always had a thing for Aria. The weirdest thing was when he had all of those close-up photos of her sleeping. He claimed Alison took them-but I just dont buy that. And later A had the same photos in his/her lair.

Then there is a very similar scene in later seasons, of Aria hanging up her creepy doll photographs in a dark room. It is a parallel to when Jason is in the darkroom with the pictures of her.

Its possible that whatever is in her file has something to do with Jason. This could lead in to why it would cause Ezra to choose Nicole over Aria.

  • Aria and Mona

What the hell did Aria whisper to Mona at this moment that had her running scared?????? Aria and Mona have always had an interesting relationship and suspicious conversations.

  • The Dollhouse

Aria had the mannequin family framed in her Dollhouse bedroom. The look on her face seems to convey that she KNOWS SOMETHING. Who/why they were taken there.

There are so many crazy possibilities as to what is in Aria’s file. The last few episodes of the show have really depressed me. I’ve been majorly disappointed in the writing and reveals. I am really hoping they give us something shocking and amazing for Aria’s secret.

Fingers crossed.

My Last PLL theory....ever

I won’t stop posting PLL or sharing my thoughts, but this will be my last every PLL theory, and it’s gonna be long so bare with me.

PLL Explained:

Lets start from the beginning. Well as far back as we can. It was 1980 something, Mary  hadn’t been out of Radley long but she was finally ready to get back to a normal life and go to college. She meets Ted, he’s sweet and just the kind of good guy a “bad girl” like Mary needed. They date. She gets pregnant. The first person she decided to tell was her sister Jessica, she had hoped this would bring them together as she wanted her sister to be a part of her child’s life. But we know Jessica she was born jealous. She makes up a lie to get Mary sent back to Radley. Mary wasn’t able to tell Ted she was pregnant. And now she was doomed to have her child in Radley. Jessica and her jealously of Mary getting pregnant first is what led to her affair with Peter Hastings. Ken was always away for work, making getting pregnant hard, but if she timed things right Peter could get the job done. And that is just what happened. Mary had Charles first he was taken by the state. About 6 months later Jessica delivered a boy too, Jason. She goes to visit her sister to rub it in her face only to learn that Mary’s baby was given to the state. Jessica, wanting everything of Mary’s decides to get custody of Charles making him her and Ken’s child. Once Jessica got custody of Charles the DiLaurentis moved far away from Mary and Peter to Georgia. The DiLaurentis family lived in Georgia happily for years, Even Mary was able to get her act together and was released from Radley. Jessica become pregnant again, this time with twin girls. Around this same time Mary pretends to be Jessica in Rosewood and meets up with Peter (who she knew was Jason’s father) and they have a moment. Mary ends up pregnant with Spencer. Jessica gives birth to two little girls in Georgia. Mary learns about this. She goes to Georgia to find Jessica, that’s when she realizes that Jessica has Charles. Mary is upset. She feels that Jessica stole Charles from her and decided to take one of Jessica’s babies for revenge. Jessica knows it was Mary who kidnapped her baby and she turns Mary in. Mary is sent back to Radley (very pregnant) but the baby was never found. Jessica and Ken decide to move back to Rosewood because they were “the people who lost a child” to all their neighbors in Georgia. So the DiLaurentis’ move back to Rosewood. Jessica tells Peter and Veronica what Mary did to Peter. Mary gives birth to Spencer in Radley and Peter and Veronica raise her.  Jessica and Peter even got all the kids together once so they could meet their siblings (the Campbell apple farm - the baby the boys met wasn’t Alison, it was Spencer) A few months later the bathtub incident happens, and Jessica and Ken (worried that Charles is more like his mother than they believed) send Charles away to Radley. All is well for a few years then one day while visiting Charles, Jessica meets Bethany and her father. Bethany is about the same age as Alison and reminds Jessica of her with her blonde hair and pretty eyes. Jessica starts to wonder if Bethany could be her long lost child. She starts to buy Bethany gifts (the yellow dress, a horse, etc) and show her a little extra attention when she visited Charles. One summer Charles was able to go to a summer camp and Jessica spent a lot of time with Bethany getting to know her and even developed feelings for Bethany’s dad. But Bethany did not like this. She felt her dad was cheating on her mom with Jessica and it made her angry. This went on for a few more years. Then one day Bethany comes up with a plan to get rid of Jessica for good. She sees who she believes to be Jessica standing on the roof, without a second thought she pushes her over the ledge. Only it wasn’t Jessica it was Marion. Distraught at what she had done she blames it on Charles. But of course here comes Jessica to cover it all up. And before Bethany knew it, Charles was gone. He had died. The next time Bethany see’s Charles, he is now Charlotte. But Charlotte doesn’t introduce herself to Bethany as Charlotte, she introduces herself as Alison DiLaurentis, Jessica’s daughter. Charlotte tells Bethany how much she hates Jessica and how she would love to get her out of her life. Bethany believed every word, until that day when Radley called Jessica to come get her daughter Alison, Jessica shows up and it’s Charlotte dressed head to toe in Alison’s clothes. Bethany overheard Jessica telling Radley that this wasn’t Alison, but Jessica leaves with Charlotte anyway. Now Bethany doesn’t trust “Alison” (aka Charlotte) or Jessica. (hence the tapes and drawings) But there wasn’t much Bethany could do from Radley and she needed a plan. A good one.

Meanwhile. Alison’s twin is not Bethany Young. Alison’s twin grew up in Georgia, knowing nothing of her real family. Until one day a girl named Shana kept calling her Ali. The twin told her I think you have the wrong girl. Shana insisted not, that she looked just like her summer time friend Alison. So Shana shows the twin the picture. Twin can’t believe her eyes it was like looking at a picture of herself. So she asked Shana about this “Alison” girl and Shana told her what she knew. The twin made Shana promise not to tell Alison, and Shana agreed. When summer time came around Alison made her annual trip to go visit Grandma D. While she was there her twin watched her and studied her. She saw how Ali treated people badly. She even watched Ali play her mind games with Shana. Twin had enough, she decided to go to Rosewood to find out what was going on with the rest of her family. Shana even introduced her to a girl named Jenna who lived near Rosewood that twin could stay with. While in Rosewood she was mistaken for Alison a few times. Once by a girl named Mona. She played along trying to be a nicer version of Alison. After seeing how Ali’s life was, her twin decided she needed to know more. The A game starts. The twin starts watching Alison carefully and reaching out anonymously to others when she needed answers. That’s how she discovered NAT club. She is the one who paid Ian to film Ali and her friends. Twin decided that Ali doesn’t deserve this life anymore that she takes it for granted. So she plans to kill Alison and take her place. But her plans go on hold when Jenna and her mom needed to move to Rosewood (As Jenna’s mom was moving in with Toby’s dad) But Jenna told twin that should could stay at their place in Cape May.

Flash forward. The first secret. Twin is now reaching out to Mona (Ali’s enemy) more often via anonymous texts and emails. She convinces Mona that now is the time to take down Ali. She tells Mona exactly what to do (send the voodoo doll, leave the A notes etc)… It’s Jenna’s first week in Rosewood and she is already invited to a Halloween Party. She heads to the costume shop to pick a costume when she see’s Ali. She knew it was Ali and not twin. Twin had already told her all about Ali. After Jenna’s run in with Ali she calls twin and tells her that she met Ali. Twin pushes her to steal Ali’s spot as it girl and suggests showing up dressed as the “better gaga” Twin is officially kicking off her plan with the help of Mona and Jenna. Only one thing didn’t go as planned. Twin had no way of knowing that Charlotte and Lucas had planned their own special treat for Ali that night. (Ali getting attacked in the house) This actually helped twin because once Ali knew it wasn’t Noel she became aware that someone really was after her.

Moving on. Charlotte and Lucas continue to play silly games to make Alison look bad (the Radley stunt, etc) Twin takes notice and decides that she would like to recruit Charlotte (not knowing Charlotte is related) So she reaches out and asks Charlotte to meet her at Jenna’s. Charlotte who is half playing Ali, half playing with Ali, suggests that Ali stop putting up with Jenna and do something about it (this was Charlotte’s way to lead Ali to the person who was possibly after Ali) So Charlotte doesn’t show up that night, but Alison does and with the help of her friends (who thought they were after Toby) Alison throws the firework into the garage, blinding Jenna and hurting twin. The twin got away before the police came. But now she was super pissed with Alison and her friends. Putting most of the blame on Alison of course. Over the next couple of months Twin and Mona continued to torture Alison. And watched Alison slowly screw over more and more people. (Getting Charlotte kicked out of UPENN, the issues between Ian & Melissa, etc) Every time Alison ruined another life, twin reached out. Ian and Melissa were supplying the NAT videos so twin had knowledge of all the secrets. Charlotte was playing double agent and still pretending to have Ali’s back despite helping plan Ali’s death.

And finally we get to that night. Charlotte had already convinced Alison that if she couldn’t figure out who was after her she’d have to go on the run (hence Ali saving up money, passports, etc) Charlotte just wanted Ali gone but had little faith that the mystery person would actually do it. So Charlotte sends Bethany the top with a note from Ali, knowing this would set Bethany off. Bethany comes to rosewood to find Ali & Jessica (really Charlotte and Jessica). Meanwhile, Twin has given Mona orders to take Ali out. But Mona mistakes Bethany for Alison and hits her, but she hears someone coming (Melissa) and takes off. Melissa who had just heard Spencer and Ali fight see’s a girl (appears to be Ali) laying on the ground. Assuming the worst of Spencer, Melissa pushes the girl into the hole (that Mona dug) and starts to bury her. Charlotte walks up startling Melissa, and seeing what Melissa was doing. They speak about it for a second before being seen by Jason. At this point they both run away, leaving the girl in the hole only partially buried. Charlotte comes around to the front of the house and believes she see’s Bethany, she hits her upside the head. It’s actually Ali. And Jessica has seen it all. Jessica buries Ali for Charlotte, and calls Wilden to take Charlotte away (presumably back to Radley) Grunwald comes along and pulls Alison out. Alison is later picked up by Mona. Alison tells Mona what happened. That someone hit her in the front yard and that her mother buried her. Mona knows the girl she hit was in the backyard, realizing she did not hit Ali. She did not follow orders. Instead of killing Ali at this point she talks Ali into faking her death and running away. Which is exactly what Alison did; Leaving the yellow top and her Ali bracelet with Mona. During that night when Mona left to gathering somethings for Ali (most likely from the DiLaurentis house) she returned to the grave to see if anyone was in the grave. She finds Bethany, dead. She puts the Ali bracelet on her then recovers the hole. She returns to Alison gives her her things and off Alison goes.  Mona informs twin that Ali is dead.

Now twin just needed to wait for the right time to take Ali’s place. It can’t be too soon because Ali’s family and friends might know its not Ali. So with the help of Mona, she learned how to act like Ali while also transforming Mona into an It girl and subsequently Hanna too. Finally the twin was about ready to make her move, Ali would come back from the dead, but things took a turn. The DiLaurentis’ decided to move away. Twin had Mona take the rest of Ali’s stuff. (When Maya’s family threw it out) Twin was going to need to learn a lot more about Ali. But then a body is found. Everyone finds out it’s Ali and now twin cannot just take Ali’s place. So with that plan being a no go. Twin decides to finish what she started and get back at the girls for being bullies and and blowing up Jenna’s garage. This is why Mona had no real reason for being after the liars, she was just doing the twins work. But during Mona’s reign as A the twin started noticing things. Someone who looked like Ali visited Hanna in the hospital. Someone saved Emily from that garage. Twin learned Ali was actually alive and that Mona had lied to her. So she made Mona out herself as A. She had hoped this would mean that with Mona locked up Ali would come home, then twin cold take her place again. But Ali didn’t come home. And Mona met a girl named Charlotte. Charlotte was the perfect pawn for twin. So via Mona she let Charlotte believe that she would be taking Mona’s place as A. Charlotte really wanted to play the game but couldn’t do that from Radley. So Charlotte leaves Radley and gets herself a place in Rosewood. For the twin the goal is to prove Ali’s alive, for Charlotte its about finding out the truth about her family. Eventually the twin tells Charlotte who she is, which makes Charlotte more on her side. Seasons 3 & 4 are the twin, CeCe, & the liars trying to find out if Ali is alive. Remember there were 3 redcoats in the sawmill in Ravenswood. Ali, Charlotte, & the person who led them to Ezra’s lair. The twin led them to this lair for a reason, this was to make Ezra look more guilty than Charlotte. Once the twin has confirmation that Ali was alive she tells Charlotte she needs to leave the country (because she is accused of murder). Charlotte leaves the country and Ali is exposed, just like the twin planned. This time she sends Shana to kill Ali (because Mona didn’t do it the first time) But instead the liars (Aria) killed Shana.

So just to add things up: The twin is after the liars for the Jenna thing and the Shana thing.

So twins next plan to take Ali’s place involves getting Ali and the liars put in jail. At this point (other than Aria) the liars haven’t killed anyone. So she convinces Mona to fake her death. Which Mona agrees too (the blood) The twin comes in and she and Mona fake the crime scene. Of course it looked like Ali in the surveillance video. Because it’s Ali’s twin. This is the first time Mona actually meets the twin (hence her being shocked) But don’t forget she was in on this.

Once Ali was in jail. Twin just needed to get the liars to Charlotte’s dollhouse, and why not ruin their names in the process. The liars are arrested then kidnapped, making it look like they had escaped. While in the dollhouse, the girls were being tortured by several people. The twin, Charlotte, Mona, Noel, & Sara. The plan would be to keep the liars their permanently. Eventually cluing them in. But holding them captive none the less. Mona would be eventually released having no memory of her kidnapping or the faking of her death. This would clear Alison’s name. She would then be taken to the dollhouse and twin would replace her for good. But the twin didn’t plan for the liars to be smart enough to figure out about Charles… At first the twin decided to play along in their quest to figure out who Charles was. Having Noel stand in as pseudo “Charles” what she didn’t plan for was them catching the damn place on fire. She was literally leading Alison there that night to bring her to the dollhouse. Once the girls had escaped her plan was ruined and Charlotte would be left to take the blame. (Game Over, Charlotte)

But of course Charlotte couldn’t let the game go.when the twin didn’t want to play with Charlotte anymore, Charlotte tried to assemble her own team, (Jenna, Noel, Archer, Lucas, & eventually Mary) She still wanted to play with the girls. But she needed out of Welby first. Finally she gets released. The twin did not want Charlotte to interfere with the plan she’s been coming up with for the last 5 years. So after Charlotte was released, the twin killed her. Using the plan from Spencer’s paper. Already trying to frame someone. Mona is still working for her. After Charlotte is killed she starts tormenting the liars trying to get them to give up evidence that Ali killed Charlotte. It’s just like her plan with Mona only this time someone will really die. She literally plays the girls against themselves. She knows who killed Charlotte and she convinces the girls that it’s possibly one of them, to the point that the girls actually do start incriminating themselves. (Killing Archer) Meanwhile the twin has also taken over all of Charlotte’s minions (Jenna, Noel, Archer, Mary, Sara, Lucas) with the promise that they would be finding Charlotte’s killer, again playing them because she already knows who killed her. Lucas built the board game. Archer got the money. Noel was gathering information. etc… They all played their part. And they all die off once they’ve been exposed or have said too much (Sara, Noel) Jenna hasn’t died yet because the twin has a soft spot for her. But she’s still expendable if she doesn’t play along. Which is why she is holding something over Sydney to force her to play too. By the end of the game one of the liars will go down for Charlotte’s death and the others will be left suffering.

But the twin never expects for the girls to figure things out. But I think this is actually going to end up being the case. One of the liars will figure out it’s the twin but she won’t be able to tell the others. Eventually someone from the twin’s minions will try to switch sides and help the liars most likely Mona. The twin will be caught and arrested but not before one or two people die in the cross fire (my guesses are one or two of these people; Lucas, Mona, Jenna, or one of the liars- Not Spencer)

We’ll prob have a time jump of the liars finally living an A/AD free life and see how they are. Alison and Emily will prob be together trying to raise the kid. Spencer and Toby will be friends but not together. Ezra and Aria will probably get married. Caleb and Hanna will probably get married.

Other things the twin was a part of:

The lodge fire, the twin was the person on the plane. She is the one who knew how to fly. Duncan never met the real Ali he had always met the twin when she was pretending to be Alison. The only time the liars ask Ali about Duncan is when Spencer drug-dreams her up. This was probably the twin at the time. And not actually Alison.

The girl outside the window when Hanna and Mona did the Ouija board was also probably the twin because it led to a pissed off Mr & Mrs D.

So that’s it folks. Ali has a twin and her twin is AD. Ali never knew she was a twin. It’s why she had so many baby pics (there were two of them) Jason was brainwashed to forget it just like he was with Charles.

For more on how I deducted it would be her twin check this theory out!

Imagine Fighting Crime With Daredevil

“He had a gun,” Matt noted. Yes, you knew what you two were doing was dangerous, but you weren’t the one nearly getting killed and having to go to Claire on a near-nightly basis. In retaliation (and a little bit of defense of your pride), you took a hard step forward and punched through the wall.

“And I have THAT!” you snarked, running at another goon and taking him to the ground with ease.

“Lucky strike,” Matt grunted. You sighed. And Luke called Jessica the hardest hero in Hell’s Kitchen to get a compliment out of. (Which, she probably was, but Matt was a whole different nut.)

(For Anon)

Aria is in fact “UBER A” and Charlotte’s sister. (A-mazing Theory from Reddit member “maryssmith”

Not mine, but it is the best theory I’ve ever seen (except for the main theory of this group). It ties everything together, twisting some things making everything to get related. :}I just read it on Reddit. Credits go for the user “maryssmith"Just  making it hot for you… In this theory…
Alison DiLaurentis is actually "CeCe Drake"Charlotte DiLaurentis is actually "Bethany Young"Sara Harvey is actually "Charles DiLaurentis” (which makes a really ironic way she died, in the bathtub, when on 6A we we’re lead to believe lil’ Charles was drown on a bathtub)Aria Montgomery is “UBER A”

The Theory:“A warning: this is ridiculously long. But, well, there are no new episodes for awhile and if you’re bored, have at it.So, we know that Charlotte used the name "Cece Drake” but that this wasn’t her real name, which was Charles, later Charlotte, DiLaurentis. What we don’t know is if Charlotte made up this alias (maybe off of Mary’s name because, uh, what are the odds that she just picked that last name randomly?) or if she took the identity of someone else whose name really is or was Cece Drake. Let’s say that she switched identities with somebody really named Cece Drake, who is still at large in the story. There are a few clues that suggest that it’s possible that the real Cece Drake is Alison.Clue #1: Since Charlotte stole this identity, she’d have the records make it look like she was Cece Drake– so Cece’s birthdate would match Charlotte’s age. But the real Cece could have been born at a different time or much later– like, when Ali was born.Clue #2: In the Ali-and-Spencer-at-Radley sequence, Ali says “wasn’t sixth grade the best?” and Spencer replies: “I didn’t even know you then.” We know that the DiLaurentis family didn’t always live in Rosewood and that they lived in a neighboring town apparently when Ali was younger. Veronica once commented that she thought trouble started for the girls “when they met Alison”, implying that the Liars knew one another before Alison knew any of them. Sometime after the sixth grade, Alison started school with the Liars but the DiLaurentis family had moved to Rosewood by then, so where was Ali? I’m going to guess Radley, where she was known by her real name, Cece Drake, and spent some time with her mother, Mary, before her aunt adopted her and changed her name to Alison, spawning Ali’s interest in creating alternate personas (Vivian Darkbloom) and her generally terrible behavior.Clue #3: This explains why Cece Drake was given a visitor’s pass to Radley– the one Spencer finds hidden in the horse at Radley… the one Ali knew right where to find. (Also in the horse? Mona’s fake nurse’s badge declaring her “Ali Dee”. So, the clue is that “Ali Dee”– Alison DiLaurentis– is fake and the real Radley visitor standing before Spencer in the scene is really named Cece Drake.)Clue #4: “But, when I get there, it’s not my daughter sitting in Radley, it’s Cece Drake!” First of all, this scene makes absolutely zero sense on the surface because this argument between Jessica and Ali would have taken place before Charlotte transitioned and also before she left Radley using the name Cece Drake. So, try watching the scene and reading it like this, with this background… Jessica got a call to come to Radley because her daughter was there and saying she wanted to stay. Jessica went there expecting to see her daughter… who is not actually Alison/Cece Drake because Alison/Cece Drake is Mary’s daughter. Ali/Cece switched places with another girl who is Jessica’s daughter (Bethany?) and let that girl escape for a few hours to go have some fun. Jessica got to Radley and expected to see her daughter/possibly Bethany and instead it was not her daughter sitting in Radley but Cece Drake. Ali and her cousin had pranked Jessica hard and Jessica was furious, which is why she used Ali’s real name instead of Alison. Ali responds with “I can’t believe she did it. I didn’t think that bitch had it in her.” Her tone is dripping with sarcasm and a dark kind of mirth and it could be read as if she’s talking about herself as Cece Drake as if that were another person in response to Jessica calling her by another name.Clue #5: How does Charlotte “Cece Drake” DiLaurentis get away for awhile? By playing the identity swapping game with Ali again. Ali lets her steal another of her names– Vivian Darkbloom this time. They’re still playing their game.Clue #6: In Cece’s first appearance, she says a signature Ali line (“You’re always better off with a really great lie”) that is pretty ironic, considering that Cece’s entire persona was a lie and it was based on… Alison. She was doing her best Ali impression, trading personas with her the way they did when Ali was visiting and helped her get out of Radley a few times. The Liars immediately recognize Cece as being similar to Ali but they don’t know just how much so. Early on in her time in Rosewood, Cece seems amused by the lie. When she meets Jason, what does she do? She gets her picture taken in the yearbook. In the Liars’ yearbook one year, there’s a picture of a Cece Drake and it’s the year that Ali is missing. That’s some sorta amusing dark humor. Jason asks her name and she smirks a little. “I’m Cece. Cece Drake.” She’s bemused by telling Ali’s brother his sister’s name– the real one he didn’t know. The same amusement happens when she encounters the Liars at the brew for the first time and introduces herself and talks to them about Ali.Clue #7: It might explain Bethany. We know that Ali and Bethany had contact and we know that Bethany hated Jessica, thought she was a liar and didn’t want to call her Aunt Jessica and all that. My feeling is that Bethany didn’t want to call her Aunt Jessica because she wasn’t her aunt at all– she was her mother– but for whatever reason was keeping that quiet and not helping her to get out of Radley. Bethany had been thrown to the wolves in there, likely because Jessica and her father had had an affair and Bethany’s existence was a secret. Jessica tried to make up for it by buying her a pony but Bethany was having none of it and drew dark pictures of her. One thing that’s interesting? She drew Jessica’s roses in a couple of the pictures. The same roses that Jessica was always seen trimming and working on (in the Charles bathtub flashback, when Jason shows up at Aunt Carol’s, etc..). This indicates that she was, at one point, at the DiLaurentis house. This would explain how she met Ali– at some point, Jessica felt guilty and introduced Ali/Cece Drake to her cousin, Bethany. (Or, alternately, they were around the same age and grew up together in Radley before Ali/Cece was let out sometime after the sixth grade.)Bethany was full of raging jealousy over how Ali got the good deal. She wasn’t even Jessica’s daughter but she got to live outside of Radley in a nice house with great clothes and good food and freedom while Bethany was trapped inside, hating both of them. This is the anger you hear on the audio tape the Liars’ find, with Bethany wondering if “she” (Ali) is just as bad as her mother and if you can trust anyone in that family. Using the yellow top sent to Charles by Jessica, Ali planned to do something about Bethany on That Night… but Bethany was tipped off to the plot and tried to go after Ali instead. The end result is that a girl whose identity we still don’t 100% know was killed and buried in the DiLaurentis backyard and they have now identified her as Bethany but she was previously identified as Ali… meaning, it almost has to be that Ali and Bethany are related, which is what we’re saying here, since if Ali is the real Cece Drake and Mary’s daughter and Bethany is Jessica’s illegitimate daughter, then they are/were cousins.Clue #8: Melissa. Melissa is seen in the yard on That Night talking with Charlotte. If we’re saying that Charlotte is really Bethany, then this makes a lot of sense. Both Spencer and Melissa rode horses and Jessica took Bethany to get Custard (all that yellow imagery!) to get a pony and go for riding lessons. Melissa and Bethany became friends. Melissa almost has to know the secret about Spencer’s biological mother because she’s claimed for so long to have been protecting her. One thing to consider is that if Mary is only somewhat Spencer’s biological mother– like, say, if she was Veronica’s surrogate– than the same might be true of Melissa. It’s entirely possible that Mary Drake is also Melissa’s birth mother which would, well, explain a thing or two about the shadiest of sisters. (It would also make Melissa and Bethany cousins. We also know that Melissa and Bethany knew one another because they were seen together That Night. We also know that it was Bethany who broke up Melissa and Wren’s relationship when she called Melissa to tell her some things about Wren. (Like, let’s say, that Wren is crazy in love with her and planning to disguise himself as a British con artist and steal all of Ali’s money at which point Melissa is like okay, I hate you all lol. Hence the Melissa-in-London scene from the five years forward gap.)The Hastings’ and the DiLaurentis’ would go apple picking (“your family has the worst apples”) at the Campbell farm when they were younger, which is where the video found in the Dollhouse took place. If that’s really Mary and baby Spencer in the video with then-Charles and Jason (hinted at by it being Spencer who first sees the video). The same video seems to be Charles’ birthday party, also taking place for some reason on this farm. The owners of the farm had adopted a boy (Andrew Campbell) who probably no longer factors into the end game here but at the very least we can say that Andrew was probably another Radley baby. (There were way too many cribs and stuff in that room Ali leads Spencer into when they’re at Radley.)Bethany and Charles were friends in Radley, at least before Bethany blamed Charles for Toby’s mom’s death. In this theory, they’d actually be cousins, which might help to explain why they stuck together and were friendly. They talk about needing a really great, borderline unbelievable lie to let them have a life just beyond escaping. Later on, we see Charles has transitioned to Charlotte but we have no idea what’s happened to Bethany. All we do know about Bethany might be that she and Ali, the real Cece Drake, liked to swap identities. Who is to say that Bethany didn’t take a cue from that when she wanted to get back at Alison and hatch a plan of her own with Charles? (See: other people’s Charles = Sara Harvey and Cece = Bethany theories.)Clue #WhateverNumberI'mOn: Ali’s clues to Hanna in the hospital. She told Hanna that what got her in trouble was telling the truth to the wrong person at the wrong time. If we assume that the truth Ali is talking about is the NAT Club and since the NAT Club is tied to the DiLaurentis family secrets via Jason and the fact that, well, it’s all about exposing secrets, then what Ali told was dangerous. It’s likely she’s talking about Wilden because a) he’s pretty much the only person who seems like he could be genuinely threatening to Ali and b) Rollins and Mary knew enough to torture Ali by using a Wilden mask and he’s still really relevant to the overall story at this point. (Plus, he’s likely beach hottie because we know Ezra really wasn’t and because, um, Wilden’s in Cape May– in a boat, off the beach– in a picture that suddenly vanishes and he’s also a creep and a half. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and all that.) He’s likely who Ali thought got her pregnant (if it was really just a scare. If she had a kid– Amish doll lover, Eliza? named for Audrey Hepburn stuff being so very Ali?– then the father was Wilden). He’s the guy Ali was running from and that would make sense in an overall story kind of way because Wilden is basically the end of the first episode– he’s the very first A suspect (though he’s likely not Uber A), the very first major clue we have to any of it, and the end of the first episode is basically him threatening the Liars before they get their first A text. Yep. Something afoot with Wilden. It also would explain why Wilden was willing to cover up what appeared to be Ali’s murder. Why is a local beat cop willing to cover up the brutal homicide of a teenage girl? It’s not because some nice rich lady asked him to. It’s because Ali knew way too much. It’s why she ran after planning to fake her death and why Wilden was obsessed with figuring out exactly what happened to her. Finally, there’s how this could tie into other major theories of stuff– namely, the theory that Aria is Uber A. The other major plotline in the flashbacks to before Ali disappeared deals with Aria and her discovery of her father’s affair with Meredith. Ali seems to know about this before Aria does and it’s almost as if she led Aria to see her father and Meredith making out in the car. Ali’s need to throw people’s perceived weaknesses in their faces (Hanna and food; Spencer and drugs; Emily’s closeted homosexuality), it’s no doubt that she had found Aria’s by needling the issues Aria has with her father. (I mean, come on, let’s be serious– Aria’s been dating her teacher for basically the entirety of the show. Her English teacher. Girl’s got some major daddy issues.) But, how would Ali figure that out? Maybe it wasn’t the first time Byron’s dick has gone all Peter Hastings on everybody. Maybe Aria discovered more than just Meredith– maybe she discovered that she had a sibling. A sibling that mental-illness-paranoid Byron was okay with keeping locked up in Radley. A half-sister… and lord, help the mister who comes between Aria and her sister…Byron took the sabbatical in part to try to keep Aria away from Bethany. He got Aria to stay quiet and not tell Ella about any of it– not just Meredith but about Jessica, too. About Bethany. Ali showing Aria that he was at it with Meredith was Ali’s way of trying to say that Byron was a scumbag and his promises that the affair that led to Bethany was just a one-time thing and everything was B.S.. And what happened as a result? We saw Aria’s rage. Her really explosive, intermittent anger– much like her half-sister. We’ve seen it more than once throughout the series. We’ve also seen a few more clues that might hint at this and tie to Ali’s secrets… like, that Charlotte/Bethany says when she was released one year for Christmas, she watched an old movie and had a good time with some family. Like, say, her sister Aria, who is the resident old movie buff of PLL. They likely watched White Christmas and “Lord, help the mister…” was a kind of joke to Aria. Aria in flashbacks is seen as the most disapproving but cowardly of the Liars when it comes to Ali’s antics– she wants to do something but she doesn’t stand up to her. What happens mysteriously when Aria wants to do something but lacks the guts? A seems to solve her problems for her. A writes her mom a letter telling her (part) of Byron’s gross behavior. A started texting Ali threats that are a lot saucier than Aria’s quieter nature. Who is the group’s resident photographer? Aria. What did The NAT Club do? Take video and pictures of people. Who started The NAT Club? Jason. Who has since had a thing with Aria? Jason. Whose red cup was seen on the porch That Night, intimating that she might have been inside with The NAT Club That Night before she pretended to wake up? Pigtunia’s unhinged owner, that’s who. If Aria was NAT, then she was in on everything and a big part of Ali’s problems. Which would explain Ali’s comment to Spencer of “you never know who your friends really are”… and then her look to Aria. It would also explain how when Ali visits a feverish Aria, Aria looks scared and asks Ali if she sees A. Ali says that she does and “so do you” and so do the other Liars, everywhere they turn. She says she’s surprised that Spencer hasn’t figured that out yet. Basically, Ali is saying that one of the Liars is A and the scene implies that it’s Aria and Ali knows it. Anyway, cue all of the other 8 trillion “Aria is A” clues but now look at it with the idea of what her motivation is– the injustice served up to her sister, Bethany. Aria and Ali have been locked in a game over all of this for a very long time and it’s the undercurrent of everything from Aria’s relationship with Jason to the fight for the Carissimi money. Ali thinks its hers and she’s been fighting for it since she was trying to get Jason tossed out of her grandmother’s will before she disappeared. Now Mary Drake (who seems a little too familiar with casserole-happy Aria) and Rollins have shown up trying to get it in Charlotte’s name because it’s what Charlotte/Bethany “would have wanted”– they’re gunning for Ali and the way they go about it? They try to lock her up in a mental institution. Poetic justice for Bethany’s childhood.I think this is why the last episodes will feature the Ezria wedding lead up and be driven by a pro-active Aria. It’s because Aria is Uber A and now she’s on the offensive because a group of her former minions are waging a war against her. That’d be Mona, Caleb, Toby… and maybe, just maybe, even Ezra before all is said and done. It’s full circle because, in the end, it was really always all about Aria versus Ali– hell, the entire pilot is about Aria and Ali– and everyone else, from Mona to Toby to Rollins to Charlotte/Bethany to Mary Drake– is ultimately part of that story. Mona was threatened into taking the fall but was the first (and so far, only) one to figure out that Aria is A– a secret she’s kept for awhile now for a variety of reasons (it would expose her own wrong-doings, it could backfire and hurt Mike, etc..). Lucas is working with Mona, Caleb & Toby– but he’s a double agent, so he’s still giving tapes (from his place) to A. Wren’s involved in some twisty way but is not Uber A. Sara Harvey was Charles. (No, really, she died in a f*cking bathtub… of course she was Charles.) Jenna’s the ultimate red herring. In the end, it comes full circle to Aria being Ali’s biggest problem with her proxy Mona being the one who ultimately helps to take her down. When they say that A.D. emerged after Charlotte’s death– that’s true. The emojis stopped, the gloves came off, and who killed Bethany/Charlotte was all Aria and Rollins and Mary cared about. But Uber A? That full circles back to the very start– to that summer, That Night, the Jenna Thing, the NAT Club, Wilden and Ezra, Mona, the whole nine yards. Ali is Cece Drake and Aria is Uber A. Game over? :) “
