How to create Dewy Skin

Gone are the days of heavily matte skin instead gorgeous, glowy skin is the ultimate focus and thanks to this trend (which is definitely here to stay) there are hundreds of products on the market that can give you gorgeous Victoria Secret skin in a heartbeat. Those with oily skin, don’t have to fret just yet, trust me, you can still rock the luminous look.

The Skincare: If your skin is super lackluster try a whole skincare line dedicated to giving you a healthy glow, otherwise a serum, which is designed to brighten your skin will suffice.

The Prep: Don’t use a moisturiser, instead just use a small amount of facial serum to prep your skin. Not only will makeup last longer, but your skin will also look fresher. Follow with an illuminating primer that will reflect light to set the perfect base for your makeup.

Eyeshadow Technique For Hooded Eyes

Hooded eyes can be a tricky subject when it comes to makeup, but it doesn’t have to be! With just one simple sweep this technique can give your eyes lift, and definition whilst making them appear more elongated.

Step 1. After prepping the eyelids and tightlining the eyes sweep a shimmery, pigmented shade over the eyelid

Step 2. With your eyes open work a matte dark brown shade through the crease and blend

Step 3. Taking a darker shade than the one you originally used, hold the brush at the outer corner of the eye

Step 4. Gently drag the brush upwards towards your eyebrow to create a winged shape

Step 5. Blend out the eyeshadow following that same shape

Step 6. Take the same matte dark brown along the lower lash line

Step 7. Smudge a dark, black eyeshadow along the upper lash line as an eyeliner

Step 8. Smudge that same dark black shade along the lower lash line

Step 9. All that blending can take away the first shade you apply so reapply it to the center of the eyelid

Step 10. Curl your lashes and apply mascara to both top and bottom lashes.

To all long distance relationship couples

I know being in a long distance relationship is not easy

and sometimes things may seem complicated,

and just gets the best out of us that we feel like giving up,

but it’s just a test of patience and endurance.

Don’t give up! Hold on! Have faith!

Remember, if others can, then you guys can also make it.

Hi I saw you had posted a few beauty tips, do you or any of your followers have tips for what cover up or foundation to use if part of your face is really dry and the rest is oily? Like I’ve tried using a matte foundation which was great for most of my face but exaggerated how dry my forehead is and looked awful, and I just don’t know what would work best?

Since you have oily skin I’d recommend that you limit your foundation use. You’re supposed to allow acne to breathe as much as possible. But I know- people never do that. Like if I have a huge white head I am covering it the hell up.

I would recommend you switch to using cover up. It’s more breathable and works a lot better for oily and combination skin. I love, love, LOVE my Hey Honey Concealer. Dear lord. It’s fabulous!

So I know it says “eye concealer”, but you can use it for your entire face. It feels lighter than foundation and doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily. Get yourself a green concealer for color correction, and you’re all set. That’s my two cents, anyway.

You choose to be insecure, how you say? Well you’re the one who believes the words people say. You’re the one who tells yourself negative things. Really start loving yourself tell yourself you’re beautiful. Give yourself compliments even if you don’t believe them. Look in the mirror every morning and say “you’re beautiful”, point out the things that you like about yourself. Instead of pointing out the flaws you have. Look at your perfections even if its just something little. Love yourself! It Boosts your confidence. Love yourself or else who will? No one else’s opinion should matter but your own. Who cares what they say be yourself and love yourself

I had a thought, and I realize that I am late to the party with this thought, but I wanted to share it anyway.

John told Merle to sever the bonds, right? That was his hint for defeating the Hunger - sever the bonds. And at the time I thought that was strange advice. Bonds had been portrayed as a positive thing up to that point; why would something as negative as the Hunger have something as positive as bonds?

The reason is, bonds are not inherently good. A person can be bonded to a bad person, a bad thought, a bad perspective. And like the Hunger consuming worlds, that connection to negativity can consume a person.

Something like the Hunger is only as powerful as its bonds, as the number of people it hurts or, in the beginning, the number of people who bought into its perspective. In that first world, everyone decided to follow that path - what would have happened if one single person had said “no, this isn’t right”? The shield that Lucretia made was so effective because the Hunger is nothing if it cannot feed on people. The Hunger is nothing without bonds.

If you can, sever your negative bonds. When something isn’t right, say so. When you’ve become too tired to fight, ask for help. Surround yourself with light. Don’t feed the Hunger.
