Awards show performance + Chanyeol

You watched your boyfriend who was on the stage performing with his group, amazed as always. You’d never understood how Chanyeol was this talented. The clumsy boy sometimes forgot his dance moves but still, how the fuck did he do that?

You had a smile on your face during the whole performance. Well, the cameramen were sure to record you.

You and Chanyeol had gone public a year ago. The first months were like hell but as the time passed people saw that you two really loved and cared about each other.

When they finished performing and come back to the table, you ran up to him and hugged him tightly during the commercial break.

“You were amazing out there.” you said with a smile on your face.

“Pfttt, tell me something I don’t know. You’re so lucky to have a boyfriend like me.”

“You know hyung, (Y/N) was chosen the hottest and the most desired girl in Korea two years in a row. I think you’re the one who’s lucky to have her with you. I don’t know how you tapped that with an ugly face of yours.” Sehun said with a smirk on his face.

“Yah, don’t be rude in front of her, you idiot!” Chanyeol nearly shouted and smacked the younger one’s head. “Anyways, how many awards your group was up for today?”

“Three and I’m pretty sure that we’ll beat you this year.”

“Bring it on baby girl. Maybe tonight we can celebrate privately. Do you want me to make a reservation somewhere, after we can crash in a hotel.” he said winking.

“Hyunggg, we’re in public and there are 600 cameras around. Flirt somewhere else.”

“Shut up, Sehun. You’re just jealous that I asked her out before you did. Loser.”

I've probably sent asks like this before but for the love of god DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE DAY OF TO MAKE HOTEL RESERVATIONS. I don't care if you're going on a Wednesday night in the middle of a slow season, you never know when something is going to be going on in town. If you're in town for an emergency that's one thing, my heart goes out to you, but if you've been planning this trip for any longer than 20 minutes you have no right to be upset when you show up at 2 am and all the hotels are full!

“But Mom!” Part 5

A/N: Just a quick quick note, there’s like an alternating scene here. I gave it an amateur shot and so in that specific part, Beca’s POV is italicized while Chloe’s POV is bold.

Beca walked Chloe back to her room with Charlie. The trip wasn’t awkward at all. They were laughing and holding hands. When they got there, Chloe opened the door where a sleeping Charlie was laying in between Stacie and Aubrey who were watching National Geographic.

“You worn him out?” The redhead asks.

“Well… he was bouncing around way too much.” Stacie says with a glint in her eyes, earning a glare from her girlfriend. This exchanged didn’t go unnoticed by Chloe.

“He likes Star Wars too?” Beca’s voice suddenly came from behind, the toy already in her hand.

Stacie looks at her tiny brunette friend, “Yeah, he does! You should bond over it when he gets up.”

Beca agrees enthusiastically and Chloe couldn’t help but admire the DJ’s fondness over her child.

“Hey, Beca? Do you wanna check on the other Bellas’? They’re arriving today too, right?” Stacie says, her eyes clearly asking Beca to just go along with it. “Uhh… yeah. Why don’t we um, call them?” She offered.

A Bellarke High School AU where Clarke is a figure skater and Bellamy is a hockey player and they are both fighting to use the rink.

“Are you ready?” Clarke asked.

“Uh huh,” Bellamy nodded and stared hard at the office door.

“Alright, let’s do this,” Clarke responded. She stepped forward and knocked on the door before falling back into place next to Bellamy. The blinds were drawn on the office windows but they could hear footsteps nearing the door and Clarke squeezed Bellamy’s bicep.

“Quit it,” he hissed and swatted her hand away.

“You quit it,” she hissed back.

The door swung open and Principal Jaha stood in the doorframe staring at them over his glasses.

“Mr. Blake, Miss Griffin,” he greeted them, “Can I help you with anything?”

Bellamy cleared his throat.

“We were just wondering if you could spare a minute to talk to us.”

Clarke pinched his side. Discreetly. He jolted in place.

“Uh, sir,” he tacked on hastily.

Principal Jaha looked between the two of them and took a deep breath.

“Certainly,” he said. “Come on in.”

I hereby request more bulletpoints!!! Loved the last one so much. What about teaching Shawn Portuguese or his gf being Portuguese oh... and traveling with Shawn!! Love you, Vic! xx

well i wish i were portuguese so i could actually write this and do it justice!! i’m not portuguese i’m an english hungarian mutt who speaks french hahahaha but i can DEFINITELy do traveling with shawn so here we go:

  • shawn’s the one to book the hotels and make the reservations, because of his connections you won’t deny him that, but you’re the one who makes the plans
  • you do the research - what monuments to see, what museums to visit, which gardens or parks are the best for picnics, what restaurants to go to and which plays are the best
  • you look up stuff like “romantic couples activities” and try not to cringe at some of the tourist packages offered in the places you’re planning on visiting, but you also find stuff like horseback riding (not super sexy, but also horses) and cooking classes (a little sexier, because it’s food and they usually involve wine, too)
  • and then you always decided to leave a few days open, without any hard plans so you and Shawn can wander, if you want
  • Those are your favorite days of any vacation you take with him, usually because they involve pretending to be locals and sharing quiet meals in small restaurants away from touristy areas before going back to the hotel to lounge in the pool
  • you’re a sucker for pools, anyway, you’ve always loved the water, so Shawn always finds hotels with the greatest pools (with swim-up bars, if you’re lucky)
  • he always insists putting sunscreen on you, because you “can’t reach your back all the way, babe!” even though you’ve been successfully applying sunscreen for years without him
  • you always let him though, because you know it’s just an excuse for him to touch you and it always feels perfect
  • and maybe he does it to tease you, to convince you you don’t need to hang out at the pool forever because you’ve got a lovely tub in the hotel bathroom big enough for both of you only you can get naked and he can make you come beneath the water
  • you’re stoic though, determined to soak in some sun and do a few laps of freestyle, and even some backstroke, because swimming’s good for you
  • also because Shawn loves to watch and you figure you owe him for all the times you’ve watched him work out in the gym while you mindlessly walk on the treadmill
  • which is a tradition neither of you purposely stop on the vacation, even though Shawn makes it down to the hotel’s gym more religiously than you do, but you mostly think that’s because he likes bringing you heaping plates of bacon, eggs, biscuits, toast, and fruit from the breakfast buffet
  • you both agree: breakfast in bed is so much better when neither of you actually have to cook
  • at the end of the trip, you both shove your fluffy white hotel robes into your luggage to add to the growing collection you’ve started in Shawn’s condo
  • Shawn calls it the ‘sex robe collection’ because you always make it a point to fuck while wrapped up in the fluffy fabric, and you find yourself laughing at the name instead of rolling your eyes like you know you should

HanjixErwin for the lastest ask? These two are so cute!

- Erwin drives an Audi Q5 and Hanji has a Nissan Pathfinder.

- Erwin does the bulk of the driving when they are together.

-Hanji is not a bad driver at all. Erwin just likes to do it. He finds it relaxing.

- Both hate driving in the snow. They can do it. But they hate it.

-Hanji loves to have to have the window open- even if it’s winter. She likes to rest her hand outside the widow as she likes how the wind feels on it. Feels like freedom. Erwin indulges up to a point.  Winters are VERY cold where they live.

- Erwin will fill up Hanji’s tank if he beats her to it. Erwin lets it hit E on occasion. Hanji will let it run to E - for science. Have to see how long you can drive with the warning light.

- Erwin likes to plan the road trips - with enough of room to be spontaneous to keep Hanji happy.

- Both Erwin and Hanji have working knowledge about cars and can do the most basic repairs and maintenance. They know when to go to a mechanic though.

- Erwin likes to listen to NPR and Hanji likes audio books. They trade off when they go on road trips. Two hours of NPR and then two hours of The Lord of the Rings (or whatever Hanji is listening to).

- They stop every three hours to stretch their legs and let their dog out. Yes - they take their dog on the road trips.

- They make reservations at hotels along the way. They are happy with chains for “mom and pop” stops. Erwin has points memberships with most hotel companies, so he can normally get a good deal. It’s hard to find dog friendly hotels sometimes though.

- Someday, they will get an RV and just go everywhere!

Thank you for the Ask! They are a cute couple for sure!

How to Stay at a Hotel

Now that I’m leaving my front desk position for greener pastures, I thought I’d put together a list of the dos and don’ts of staying at a hotel.

  • If you’re coming in to to town for a big event, try to book at least 6 months in advance. If you’re not sure how many nights or rooms you’ll need, book more. They will be gone quicker than you think.
  • PSA: if you book online through Expedia, Priceline, et. al, we can’t do a goddamn thing about your rate. We charge them and they charge you. Something wrong with the room? Be prepared to play phone tag with Expedia and our hotel for the next month trying to get that money back.
  • And for the love of God, if you book online please pay attention to what site it is. It is disturbing how many people will blindly enter their credit card information in the first thing they see on Google.
  • On that note, hotels lose money when you book online. We hate third party booking sites. If the time you’re coming in for isn’t busy, you can usually negotiate your way to a similar rate over the phone. Hotels can’t match online prices, but they can get pretty close. And it’s a hell of a lot easier to fix if there’s an issue with the room or billing.
  • Rates change. Rates can change from day to day, from week to week, from month to month. Busier the hotel, higher the rates. So it’s entirely reasonable that you could’ve stayed at a hotel a year ago and paid $79 a night, and the rate jumps up to $110 for a busy weekend. Not much we can do about it.
  • If you’re coming in to town for a hospital visit, mention that over the phone when you make the reservation! Most hotels have deals with local hospitals.
  • If we’re sold out, we’re sold out. We can’t make rooms appear. Being a member doesn’t make rooms appear. If there’s a big event in town, don’t hold your breath for a cancelation. Find alternative lodgings.
  • Special requests? Let us know BEFORE you check in. Keep in mind that we can’t guarantee anything, especially if the hotel is full during that time.
  • There are different classes of hotels. The stars refer to the amount of amenities, quality, and services. Less stars = less services; more stars = more services. A 1, 2 or 3 star hotel is not a “bad hotel,” just expect less frills.
  • When you call to reserve a room and we take your credit card information, that does not pay for the room then and there, that just guarantees the reservation.
  • If you want to use your credit card to pay for someone else’s room, you need to communicate that clearly to the hotel. Because anyone who checks into a room won’t be let in without an ID and a matching credit card on the spot unless you’ve set up something in advance.
  • You need a valid credit card to check in. This is 2015. No checks. No prepaid cards. A card with your name on it, that matches the name on your ID.
  • Make sure you tell your bank before you travel. This will prevent your credit card from declining when you try to check in.
  • Please, please read the registration card thoroughly before you get to your room. Yes, I know it’s boring, but those words you’re putting your initials and signature next to are you agreeing to certain things that you will be held accountable for later. It’s also easier to fix incorrect dates on a reservation at check in then it is once you’re already here.
  • If you sign the agreement not to smoke in the hotel and you smoke in the hotel, you’re getting charged. “I didn’t read the thing” isn’t a valid excuse.
  • While the front desk person is explaining things on the registration card, please, please, please don’t grab the pen out of their hands. This is so rude.
  • If you notice something wrong with the room, don’t wait until checkout to report it. We can’t do anything about it when you’re leaving. Something doesn’t look right? Don’t put up with it! Tell the front desk right away and we’ll fix it for you.
  • Don’t ask for the room “for just a few hours.” Not gonna happen. You’re paying full price. Get your sex freak on and stay the whole night. You’ll get free breakfast in the morning.
  • Your phone and credit cards demagnetize your room keys. Don’t put them next to each other.
  • If you lose your room key and need a new one, you will be asked to prove your identity at the front desk. We don’t do this to be difficult – it’s a security issue.
  • You will receive better service the better you treat the hotel employees. If you’re an asshole, staff is going to be less willing to go out of their way to help you. And we will talk about you behind your back. And give you a shitty room.
  • Looking for something to do or good places to eat? Ask the front desk! We’re local, we know where to go. You’ll get better recommendations than searching online.
  • Also, don’t try and hide your weed under the mattress. I don’t know why people think we won’t look there. And you will be charged for smoking in the room.
  • PSA: Dirtiest thing in the room is the remote. It gets cleaned in between guests, but depending on the hotel sometimes it gets overlooked. It happens. But use a tissue to touch the buttons.
  • If you need a late checkout, let the front desk staff know. If your stuff is in the room after checkout time, we’ll assume you’re staying another night and will charge you for it.
  • If something was wrong with the room and you couldn’t let staff know until checkout, calmly explain why it was a problem and you’ll likely get a discount. Don’t yell or scream or immediately ask to speak to the manager (see point about assholes, above).
  • READ THE BILL BEFORE YOU LEAVE. I can’t stress this enough. It’s infinitely easier to fix a bill when you’re there in person.
  • If the bill looks higher than what you thought, did you include taxes in your estimate? Consider this before anything else.
  • And for the record, yes you have to pay taxes and no I can’t lower how high the taxes are. That’s a federal crime. Stop asking.
  • If you enjoyed your stay, please fill out the online survey we send to you! People often only respond to negative stays, and we really need the positive responses as well! It helps the employees.

There you be! Now you know how to stay at a hotel without pissing off every single employee you come into contact with. Enjoy your stay!

“Let’s have a toast to the good life!” Arielle shouted to the crowd around her, holding up her highball, a mixture of rum and cola sloshing over the rim. Everyone followed suit, raising their glasses in the air, cheering. She smiled and hopped down from her seat on the bar top, tossing a couple bills in her place.

As she stepped away from the crowded bar, the smile slowly faded from her face. Arielle found an empty table at the edge of the dance floor. All it took was a quick scan of the club to find her husband. There was Bruce, tucked away in the shadows with one Selina Kyle by his side.

They weren’t speaking but Arielle couldn’t help but notice the lingering touches between them. She saw the way Bruce’s hand would brush against Selina’s exposed knee, giving it a quick squeeze before pulling it back. Selina would smile to herself, leaning more and more into Bruce’s side each time.

Pro tips from a front desk lady:

● Don’t try to haggle with the front desk staff over your room rate. This isn’t an auction house.

● Not every hotel offers discounts (triple A, AARP). Don’t be offended if you’re told that they don’t offer discounts. They don’t HAVE to.

● If you’re traveling with a pet, tell the front desk staff. You’ll most likely be charged a pet fee… but that will be a smaller fee than possibly getting kicked out with no refund for sneaking your dog/cat in.

● When checking in/making a reservation, make sure you are VERY clear about your needs (smoking/non smoking, first floor, handicapped…etc). We don’t know what you need unless you tell us.

● DON’T SMOKE IN A NON SMOKING ROOM unless you have permission from the front desk. Some people are sensitive to smoke… and is a bitch to de-smoke a room that’s been smoked in.

● If you’re traveling with kids… WATCH THEM. The front desk is not your babysitter. Letting them run around the hotel unsupervised makes us and your neighbors not like you so much.

● If you’re traveling with a service dog, LET THE FRONT DESK KNOW RIGHT AWAY. We can’t ask you for proof, but don’t hide it. It’s shady looking. If it’s a legitimate service dog, you shouldn’t feel the need to hide it anyway.

● If you live in a state where pot is legal, check with the desk about their policies regarding you smoking on the property. If you DON’T live in a state where it’s legal, don’t do it. Most likely you’ll have the cops called and/or you’ll be evicted with no refund.

● If the hotel has a pool, pay attention to and follow their pool hours/policies. Don’t be that asshole that the overnight shift has to chase out of the pool area.

● If you get a room with just one bed, don’t try to fit five or six people into the room. The general rule is two people to a bed. Why? Fire code. Too many extra people in a room is a hazard.

● If you’re not in your room, please have clothes on. Even if you’re only running to the ice machine.

● Hitting on front desk staff isn’t cute. We might flirt back… but most establishments have a strict no fraternization policies. Don’t ask us to come to your room later and if you’re turned down… just go to your room. Don’t make it awkward.

● Most hotels will ask for identification. Don’t be rude about it. We’re just making sure you are who you say you are. Also trying to make sure your card isn’t being used by someone it shouldn’t.

● If you pay for a room with a credit card and it doesn’t have YOUR name on it, don’t be surprised if you’re asked where the card holder is. “They said I could use it ” isn’t a good answer. Credit card theft is a thing that happens.

● If the internet stops working while you’re staying at a hotel, don’t yell at the desk staff. It won’t fix anything and chances are, they either didn’t know about it or are trying to get it fixed as quickly as possible.

● Using a third party website to book your reservation is fine (expedia, priceline, Travelocity…etc), but make SURE that you print off your reservation confirmation AND that you call the hotel to make sure it was booked correctly. Those third parties are KNOWN for messing up the reservations and then blaming it on the hotel. If you book through one of these websites, the hotel has nothing to do with making your reservation. If the third party puts in your room wrong, IT’S THEIR FAULT.

● If you’re traveling through an area, check to see if there are special events happening that could affect the room rates. If there is a special event happening (sporting event, graduation…etc), just because you’re not in town for the event doesn’t mean that you don’t have to pay the same rate as everyone else.

● During some special event weekends, most hotels have a two night stay requirement. Typically this is for Friday and Saturday nights, but check with the hotel you’re staying at. You will probably be charged for both nights if you try to leave early. Don’t be surprised if you are.

● Most hotels have an (AT LEAST) one week cancellation policy before a special event weekend. This means (if it’s a one week cancellation policy) that you have until the FRIDAY BEFORE you’re due to arrive. Other hotels may have longer cancellation windows. Two weeks before arrival is a typical time for a cancellation policy. I’ve heard of other hotels requiring notice a month in advance to cancel without penalties.

● After checking into your hotel, GO CHECK YOUR ROOM. Go and make sure you were given the room you reserved and that it’s clean. Must hotels have a “refund window” that can be between fifteen minutes or thirty minutes. If you leave the property and don’t come back until hours later and complain to the desk that your room is dirty or wrong, don’t expect much sympathy. Or a refund. You’ll probably be moved to a new room. We have no way of knowing if YOU were the reason the room was trashed. All we know is that you checked in two hours ago… and now you’re complaining that the room is dirty.

● If for whatever reason you’re asked to leave the hotel, just go quietly. Nobody wants to deal with the police. If we do call them, they’ll probably MAKE you leave. Handcuffs will probably be involved.

● DON’T MOVE THE FURNITURE IN THE ROOM. This isn’t your house.

● Key cards are magnetic. Keep them away from your electronic devices if you want them to keep working.

● Not all hotels keep housekeeping staff 24/7. If you turn down housekeeping in the morning while they’re doing their rounds, don’t bring me your dirty sheets. I’ll probably give you fresh clean sheets and towels, but I’m not changing your sheets. I’m not a housekeeper.

● If there is a bell on the desk to ring if we’re not there, don’t ring it if we’re standing there. Don’t let your kids ring the bell. In fact… pretend the bell is invisible. We hate the bell.

● Most hotels will only hold your room reservation until a certain time (usually 6PM) without a valid credit or debit card on file to guarantee the room. If you don’t want to give your card info, you run the risk of not having a room.

● Not all hotels have a front desk that is open 24/7. Check with the hotel, and don’t be surprised if the lobby is closed if it isn’t a 24/7 place. Yes. The lobby is locked. Nobody is here to help you.

● Be nice to the front desk. We’re just trying to do our jobs.

This is just a general list of things I think people SHOULD know, but don’t. Every hotel is different.

Below the cut you will find a list of jobs that a person could work in a hotel and/or resort, requested by anonymous. They range in qualifications, which I have filtered into separate categories and each has a short description by it. I came up with this masterlist purely by online research, and have not taken from any other masterlist. likes and reblogs appreciated! I hope it helps! ~ Olihelps

Make You Feel Good - Jungkook (Smut)

For ( @ibkp )

“Look Y/N, Jungkook isn’t a bad guy! Just go with him! It’s not as if he’d try to come on to you, he’s with me incase you forgot!” Your best friend said as she tried to persuade you to go on an overnight stay with her boyfriend, you had booked concert tickets around a year ago to see your favourite band with your best friend, but her family had to rush away to look after her grandmother for a few days so you had no one to go with you, until she persuaded her boyfriend to tag along with you. “It’s not that I think he’d try something, its that he physically hates me! He’s only going because he likes the band.” You moped to your friend, feeling sorry for yourself. “Stop complaining, at least you won’t be by yourself” She spoke on the phone to you, “Fine, but this won’t make me like him! Just so you know.” You replied, continuing to whinge and complain. “Yeah, Yeah… Anyway I said goodbye to him this morning before I left and told him to look after you. I’m not saying he was happy about it but never the less he promised me he would.” You groaned as you said your goodbyes, and beginning to pack your bag, You had been finished packing for around 10 minutes when you received a text from the man himself. ‘I’m picking you up in 20 minutes. You better be ready : |’ You rolled your eyes at how blunt his message was as you put your jacket on and tied your laces, walking down stairs and locking your door just as he showed up, tooting the horn in an ‘asshole’ manner, if there was such a thing. You hurriedly put your things in the boot before jumping into the car beside him. “Hey.” He spoke dryly, “Hi…How are you?” You spoke, trying to make a decent conversation with him, failing miserably when he responded “fine.” You scoffed at his attempt at discussions. The 4 hour drive to your hotel was anything but pleasurable, with only 4 or 5 lines of speech per every long hour. You hadn’t realised you fell asleep until you felt a harsh nudge on your arm, and an irritated Jungkook telling you to “Wake up.” You got out of the warmth of the car, and into the cold air of the out doors, shivering as you walked to the boot gathering your case.  You watched Jungkook in his full stance, wearing a pink bomber jacket, black jeans and timberland boots with a bag on his back and your small case beside him. “Here.” He said rolling the case over to you. “Thanks.” You spoke sarcastically as you followed behind him into the hotel. “I make a reservation for Jeon” He said to the nice lady the desk, being so much nicer to her than he ever has been to you.  “Of course, However sir I’m afraid the only room we had was a double bed, not two singles” The women said with a sorry expression on her face. “Thats okay. We’ll work it out” He said pleasantly to the women, who could only nod at him, handing him the room key. “Guess you’re on the couch” He smirked as he began walking to the room, “I am not sleeping on a couch” You defended “Awh yeah, guess you may have to sleep on the floor if there isn’t one” He said laughing slightly, you slapped the back of his head as he slid the keycard into the door and entered the room. Luckily there was a couch that you dumped your case on, sitting down where there was room. “I’m showering first” He said running into the bathroom. You got your outfit for tonight out of your case, and prepared for your shower. The bathroom door opened and out came Jungkook, in nothing but a white towel at his hips. You tried your best not to stare at his toned torso, before your eyes made there way to his V line, looking away quickly before you got caught. You grabbed your clothes and make up bag before walking into the bathroom and after a quick shower, making sure to shave your legs because you where wearing a dress. You blow dried your curled brown locks you began to apply your make up, a black smokey eye with a subtle contour and a pink lip. You put on a long sleeved grey dress that came to your mid thigh with a pair of thigh high black socks/stockings and a pair of black velvet thigh high boots, supporting it with a thick chunky chain necklace. You walked out of the bathroom to see Jungkook, his light blonde/brown hair covered with a red beanie. He wore a white shirt, black skinnies and burgundy timberland boots. You knew he looked handsome as hell, and he was aware of just how beautiful you looked, of course neither of you said any of these things as you ‘hated’ each other, so instead you intently worshiped one another appearances before you broke the silence saying, “Shall we go?” as you grabbed your phone and the tickets to place in your bag, He held the door opened for you whilst you exited, before following along behind you. You both began to loosen up around each other, however the dislike between the pair of you still prominent. The taxi to the concert went surprisingly well, he asked you about how long you’ve known your best friend and how you became friends in the first place. You where surprised he made effort to speak to you when he could have easily gave you the silent treatment. You handed him the ticket for entry into the building, it wasn’t a massive concert. More like a ‘friendly get together’ with around 150-170 people there. You found a spot to sit your things, turning your phone on silent. Jungkook walked up beside you “What would you like to drink?” He asked sweetly, you pondered your choices before responding to him “I’ll just have a bottle of soju please” You asked pleasantly, he simply nodded and walked off to the bar. You sat patiently waiting for him to return, however when he did he handed you a pinky red cocktail. “Whats this?” you asked confused as he sipped his beer. “A WooWoo, Y/F/N loves them! I thought you might too” He spoke encouraging you to drink the unfamiliar drink. You took a sip, tasting the sour yet sweet alcohol that flowed over your body. You weren’t much of a drinker but you enjoyed the drink, giving him an approving nod. Many people began to scream signalling that the band you had came to see was appearing on stage, both you and Jungkook walked over to the stage area, you began “Wooo!”-ing as they played their first set. It began to get later in the night and you’d had a few more drinks than you cared to admit, not completely drunk, but tipsy. You told Jungkook that you’d go to the bar whilst he was at the toilet, however when you got up there someone nudged you. Looking round you saw your ex-boyfriend. “Hey, Y/N how are you doing?” He asked you smugly, you attempted to ignore him until he roughly grabbed your arm and swung you round to him. “Ouch! I’m fine, leave me alone” You said trying to shuffle away from him, however he shuffled along beside you. “So, are you still a whore or have you calmed your act down since we broke up?” He asked you, feeling a dagger in your heart obviously a minor feeling for him still existing after everything he put you through. “I never was!” You defended, “Sure thing, you slutty piece of shit” He said smirking at you, after that you lost it. You grabbed your bag and stormed away, tears streaming down your face, you bumped into some one on the way out not even looking back to say sorry. You crouched down outside, crying your eyes out. After a few seconds you felt a reassuring hand rub your back. “Hey, whats wrong” the voice asked, straight away you could tell it was Jungkook. “He’s here” you cried into your arms. “Who’s here?” He asked confused at who could have got you in such a state. “M-my ex-boyfriend.” You cried, trying to speak with a lump in your throat. “Just ignore him!” He said as if the task was easy. “I can’t not after what he done to me” You whined, Jungkook not knowing your backstory was very confused “He used to call me a whore or a slut and abuse me for it” You cried, you felt Jungkook tense in anger, he did secretly care about you and he always had a soft spot for you, because he was your best friends boyfriend you where always strictly off limits. “Stand up” He spoke seriously. You did as he commanded, looking at him, your make up had ran down your face from the tears that had just fell. He latched his hands onto your waist, you placing your hands on his shoulder, confused as to what was going on. “Y/N, I know this might seem wrong but just for one night, let me show you how you should be treated. Let me take care of you, make you feel good.” He whispered sensually into your ear, you where vulnerable and over emotional because you had been drinking, maybe you needed this, so you nodded. He held you close in the taxi, before walking you up to the room you where both staying in. He brought you in and closed the door, pushing you up against it. “Jump” He whispered, you did as he asked. He held your thighs as he began kissing you, you wrapped your arms around his waist and kissed him back. He began to squeeze your ass ever so slightly, being gentle with you. The subtle feeling causing you to moan into his mouth. He slid a tongue over your lips asking for entrance which in time you granted, allowing him to taste your mouth as you did with his. He carried you over to the bed, softly laying you down as he throws his shirt away, as you slide your boots off. He crawls on top of you pulling at the hem of your dress and lifting it over your head, he admires your beautiful body as you do to his, “You are beautiful” He sighed as began to kiss you again, your hands began exploring his chest, then unbuckling his belt and unbuttoning his jeans. He slid them of in one swift movement, before moving his kiss from your lips to your jaw, he ran his hand from your rib cage all to way down to your heat. He then unclipped your black lacy bra, and threw it across the room beginning to kiss your neck nipping and sucking, then moving down to your chest, massaging one of your breasts and licking and biting the others nipple, earning yet another moan from your needy body. He made his way down to your women hood, spreading your legs. He began to kiss up your thighs, leaving a few minor bruises from where he sucked the skin for a little too long. He ran a finger along your soaked wet panties making you gasp. He smirked at the effect he had on you, as he removed the panties and threw them on the floor. He ran a finger across your entrance as you groaned, growing more needy for him as the time passed by. He slowly slid a finger into, as your head fell back onto the pillow. He began to slowly pump in and out of you and when he felt you loosen up he added another, the full time you where a moaning mess. He added the last finger he could fit before you became too tight around him, then he brought him thumb to your clit and curled his fingers into you, the intense pleasure caused you to have an untimely release “Ah Jungkook…”  you moaned out as he rode out your orgasm. Once you had release for his fingers it was time to clean you up with his tongue, his head disappeared between your legs then you felt his wet tongue, licking directly up your entrance to your completely drenched heat, he took his tongue and began curling into your heat, lapping up your release, it was amazing what this boy could do with his mouth, finishing up by sucking on your clit to receive another moan. “Are you on birth control or do we need protection?” He asked before he got himself ready, “I’m on birth control” You said. “Even better” He said smiling as he lined himself up at your entrance, slowly sliding into you. It was slightly painful at first as you’d never taken anyone as big as him. “Okay, you can move” You told him, with that command he began to slowly dive into you, you watched his beautiful body, rolling his hips into your wet core moaning his name over and over again. You felt him twitch around you, you where both close. He began to speed up, taking his thumb to your clit once more and causing a fantastic orgasm for both of you. You where so tired and emotional that after that you passed out, Jungkook soon falling asleep too. The next day was somewhat awkward, you had a casual conversation on the way home, whilst you contemplated what you did last night. You knew it was wrong but I’d never happen again. You made it back, and turns out your best friend had returned home late last night too so you headed to her house together. The door opened and Jungkook stepped into the house, he walked up to his girl friend and pulled her into a kiss, holding her tight. You felt a sense of jealously as she received the warmth that you did last night, your heart dropped when he gave you a serious glare as if to say “Don’t say a word” You felt crushed as you soon realised, you where in love with your best friends boyfriend…

S: Even if I admit that I like you now…

Page 3
K: Please put out your tongue… *heavy breathing*

Page 5
S: I-I can’t breathe

Page 6
S: The first time I was kissed, it felt so good that I was weak to my knees (In actuality, I was only a little weakened)

Page 7
K: Shirotani-san, Let’s continue our date. Today was a waste.

S: But our reservation has already passed.
K: What other shop do you want to make a reservation at?
S: Hotel Canary’s Lounge.

(T/N: Kurose’s dumbfounded look XD)

Page 8
K: A hotel lounge….
S: Y-you’re mistaken, Don’t get me wrong. I was thinking maybe I can go there for work purposes sometimes, I thought we’d check it out to see if the lounge and bar has a good atmosphere. ..There’s been talk that the food is delicious there.. I was hoping to eat a meal there with Kurose-kun and see what you thought of the food…

K: This is the second time today you told me not to misunderstand you…
Let’s go then..
S: I just told you, we have to make a reservation
K: I’ll call now.

Page 9
K: We weren’t able to move the time huh…
S: It’s a very popular shop. I’m sorry, let’s go out again next time.
K: Now that it’s the evening, it’s finally just the two of us.
S: Umm.. Kurose-kun! You must be hungry. Even though you came with me, as an apology I’ll go wherever you want.
K: This neighborhood’s food stands or convenience store food is good.
S: Eh?

Page 10
K: The convenience store’s oden is good.
S: S-Standing while eating?

K: 2 cans?

S: Because Kurose-kun went with me to the restaurant, I should do at least this much for accompanying with me. And besides I like convenience food store more than the restaurant food. (T/N: Shirotani my angel <3)

Page 11
K: By the way is it really okay?
S: What is?
K: About Ueda-san
S: We properly accompanied her to tea together like she wanted, isn’t that okay?
K: *sighs* Even though finally we’re having our date while watching the sunset, why are we talking about other people again. even if it’s Mikami-san or Ueda-san
S: A d-d-date?  This is not a date, we’re just testing out shops.
K: It was a joke.
Shirotani-san’s behavior wasn’t exactly rude. Ueda-san at least, she wasn’t angry with you, right?

Page 12
Try kissing me and if you don’t hate it, will you admit that you like me?

Page 13
S: I didn’t hate it…. It felt good. I’m happy that Kurose treasures me so much. But if it was like today, with an opportunity like that. There’s a chance Kurose-kun will be taken by someone else.

Page 14
S: I’ll probably be left alone by myself again. When I think about it I….
K: Shirotani-san? What’s wrong?
S: Ah it’s nothing.

(T/N: Don’t cry Shiro bby <3 T__T)

Page 15
K: Did you push yourself too much today?
S: No that’s not it.
K: I ‘m sorry about my joke earlier
S: He said it with such a sad voice…
Kurose-kun has said many times that he likes me. The one who’s hurting now is me.
Flashback : Don’t throw me aside please
S: I’m the one who made Kurose have such a sad expression.

Page 16
S: How should I say this for you to understand. Before I met Kurose-kun, I’ve always felt restless about everything. My head’s filled with thoughts and before I knew it, all the things I didn’t like that you taught me, I’ve forgotten them"

Yes, I’m still alive. XD I’ve been busy with traveling for work and being in otome cd hell. Discord can attest to that. Anyways this is quite the chapter. We finally have the kiss we always wanted! I couldn’t be happier! Although it’s all backwards, it looks like we’ll be waiting for Shirotani to admit his feelings and confess to Kurose <3 Enjoy the translation with screenshots~ See you all in the next chapter.

“You know,” Luke started, stopping his fork from making its way up to his mouth that was already chewing on some delicate pasta. “This is actually our first official date. As in our first official date ever.” Your eyes widened by his words, suddenly realizing the fact he just stated. “Oh my god.” Your hand came up to cover the giggle that escaped your lips and Luke smiled widely by your reaction. This was indeed your first date ever as a couple. Of course you could state that being prom dates during Senior year was somehow alike but that was meanwhile you were best friends and now it was actually something for real. When Luke suggested it you had laughed at first claiming that you didn’t have time but somehow you managed to fit it in in your busy schedule. And here you were on a decent Italian restaurant down by the beach that Liz had suggested. But every time you tried to see the light in the situation, trying your utter best to enjoy the fact that you finally got some time for yourself, you couldn’t. “And you don’t seem to enjoy it.” Luke mumbled slightly after noticing your worried expression, a frown appearing on his face. “No Luke’s it’s not that.” You tried to reassure, feeling the phone between your thighs heating up by the warmth you were creating. “I know I know. Mommy is still on duty even if she isn’t near her son.” He cracked a small smile and reached out for your hand. “I just didn’t picture our first date like this.” He admitted and played with your fingers. “What did you imagine?” You questioned with a quivered eyebrow, smiling. “Maybe I can illustrate that another time. Right now I think you should call Ashton and hear if our son is still alive. I miss him too.” You couldn’t even express the excitement by Luke’s words and you peppered his hand with kisses before standing up and headed towards a secluded area. Deciding that a phone call wouldn’t be enough to satisfy your cravings to see William you turned on the FaceTime instantly, waiting in anticipation for Calum to pick up. “Why are you shirtless?” You asked confused the second Ashton and Calum flashed on your screen. “Yeah we had a minor accident.” “What happened?” You questioned in a serious tone with wide eyes. Luke, who clearly had his eyes on you from the second you stood up noticed your reaction and hurried to stand next to you. “Well for starters William puked his milk all over Calum. Afterwards when I was holding him he decided to do it on me as well. I assume it’s not the milk but his stomach not feeling well today?” You looked up at Luke shortly to see him furrow his eyebrows. “Yeah he did have some problems but we didn’t assume it would continue until tonight.” Luke responded and wrapped an arm around yours. “No worries though. We’ve got everything under control.” Michael yelled from behind, coming into view on the screen with William in his arms – and he was still wearing his shirt. “Turns out William knows who his favourite uncle is.” Ash and Cal rolled their eyes by Michael’s confident statement. You couldn’t prevent the giggle when they moved William up to Calum’s phone, your boy looking at the screen with curious eyes. Waving goodbye a huge sigh escaped your lips and Luke wrapped his arm around your waist. “Ready to finish our date in peace without any worries?” You nodded your head agreeing and a huge smile flashed on his beautiful face features.

”Okay so his infant formula is already premade and just needs to get heated up, his diapers are under the sink in the bathroom and if he somehow won’t stop crying try grab the small lion we have tagged along for him. Sometimes he cries for nothing and in the end it’s a simple miss of either me or Calum.” You paced around almost confused with your arms in the air to point around, the boys following you in your heels, Luke holding Alex in his arms. “And if you’re confused about anything you can call Calum or me and we won’t hesitate to be back-“ You stopped in track by Calum wrapping his arm around your neck from behind, his lips shushing against your cheek. “You’re stressing out and we haven’t even left yet.” He said casually and tried to calm you down, feeling your whole body vibrate with adrenaline. “Yeah don’t worry. We’ll take great care of him.” Luke cheered and secured his arm around Alex. “I know it’s just… The first time I’m away from him and I feel like I’m about to break down.” You mumbled with a small sigh, a dry laugh coming from your lips afterwards by your lame behavior. “This happens to every mother right?” You looked over your shoulder while biting your lip and Calum nodded his head agreeing. “It does. I think you’re handling it pretty well considering we didn’t call one of the tour managers to do this.” He chuckled and Ashton’s along with Michael’s jaw dropped. “We’re perfect babysitters. Right Alexander?” Michael looked down at your son with hopeful eyes but he didn’t receive any other answer than weird mumbles. “I take that as a yes.” He commented and Calum giggled slightly while helping you pull on your jacket. “Should I just double check everything before we leave?” You asked while looking up at him but Calum shook his head and pushed you lightly towards the door. “Come on or we won’t make it for our reserved table.” Calum opened the door to the hotel room and waited for you to walk out first. “You think we are allowed to feet him cookies?” Michael whispered towards Ash and Luke making you stop in track instantly with wide eyes. “Oh no.” Calum mumbled and grabbed you by the arm, pulling you out the hotel room and looked towards the boys. “No damn cookies Michael his teeth isn’t developed yet!” Closing the door with warning eyes a small sigh escaped his lips when he saw your nervous state standing next to him. “Hey. It’s gonna be alright.” He placed his warm hands on top of your cheeks. “I know this might seem all scary, you haven’t been separated from him for almost a year. But I assure that the boys will do their best. Or at least Ashton will.” You smiled softly by his words and leaned your cheek against his chest, his black dress shirt comfortable against your skin. “And for now I want to enjoy this night with you. Not as daddy and mommy Hood but as the couple who is going to get married soon and actually need to start prepare it at some point.” He linked his hand with yours and headed down the hallway, butterflies erupting in your stomach by his affection. This was gonna be okay you knew it you just had to breathe it all in and take a break. “I really wanna enjoy it too.” You breathed while feeling his lips press against your forehead with a smile.

“Come on Y/N it’s been five minutes since we left the house and you’re already on your phone.” Michael whined from beside you, his hands gripping onto the steering wheel. You looked up from your phone shortly with a sigh before placing it between your thighs and tried to focus on the road ahead of you. “It’s been a long time I’m not sure if they can handle it.” Michael rolled his eyes by your words and parked into the parking lots by the small grocery store, the night sky clear from above and the streets lamp lightening up the place. “This won’t take longer than ten minutes. We go in, get what we need and head out again. The boys won’t look after her for more than twenty minutes. What could possibly go wrong?” Michael stopped in track by his words while stepping out of the car, “Okay screw the last part.” You giggled slightly by his words and wrapped your arms around each other, walking into the almost deserted grocery store at eight pm. It was in such hurry that you and Michael needed something and with Celeste needing her sleep you couldn’t dare to take her with you. And when the boys suggested to watch over her you thought it was a joke, but before you could say no Michael had already answered yes and pushed you out of the door. But of course it wouldn’t take long before a phone call was dialed from Luke’s phone. “What have you done?” Michael questioned the second he answered his phone, lifting it up to his ear while you looked at him with half widened eyes. “Yeah remember that pre made bottle with breast milk that Y/N made her Celeste in case she woke up?” Small cries were faint in the background as Luke talked and Michael pursed his lips before answering, “What about it?” “Yeah, Ashton knocked it down so we don’t have anything to feed her with.” “He did what?” You questioned out loud, the volume on Michael’s phone being so loud you were able to hear it. “It wasn’t my fault Calum was the one rushing at me!” Ashton yelled faint in the background and Michael rolled his eyes. “Don’t worry we’ll be back soon try occupy her with something else.” Hanging up the phone he rolled his eyes and mumbles shortly, “So much for making the boys babysit.” “Told ya.” You commented and wrapped your arm around his to head down towards pacifiers and diapers. You scanned the shelves after some infant formula boxes and leaned on your toes to get one. “I thought it would be great for next time incidents like these occur.” You grinned when he leaned over your shoulder to grab the box with ease and placed it in your small basket. “Great idea.” He mumbled while biting his lip, trying to find something. You looked at him with a quivered eyebrow, his lips pursed while he furrowed his eyebrows. “Done?” You questioned and he shook his head. “We need one more thing.” Smiling softly when his eyes spotted what he was looking for. You eyed him carefully as he grabbed the pregnancy test and waved it slightly in the air. “Right.” You commented in fits of giggles, feeling your cheeks blushing up by the adoring smile on Michael’s face. “As this was the actual reason to why this grocery shopping was so urgent.” He placed the test into your basket and wrapped arm around your shoulders, pulling your face into his chest and kissed the top of your head.

“You look… Absolutely stunning Mrs. Irwin.” Ashton commented the second he walked inside your bedroom, fiddling with the sleeves of his white dress shirt. A tie was wrapped tight around his neck while his black blazer was adding up to the outfit, his curls still messy as usual. You looked over your shoulder by his comment and let go of the mascara in your hand, adding a bit of lipstick just to make the final touch. “You look pretty great yourself Mr. Irwin.” You commented and grabbed his tie slightly, grinning when he avoided kissing your lips and headed for your forehead instead. “So has your mom arrived?” You questioned with a smile, but it faded away when Ashton moved away from you with an almost nervous expression on his face. “Yeah about that.” He mumbled but before he could explain himself you heard yells from downstairs. “Cloe come back here since when did you start learning to crawl!?” “Oh my god is that Michael?” You questioned with your lips parting, hurrying out of your bedroom and down the stairs to see the boys sit on the baby blanket, Calum and Luke having full control of Zack while Michael was crawling after Cloe’s fast legs and arms. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” You breathed in warning and looked over your shoulder when Ashton appeared and placed an arm around your waist. “Mom called in sick last minute. So welcome to the armature substitutes.” Your lips parted slightly when the boys waved and grinned at your reaction, “Don’t worry Y/N we can handle this it’s all gonna be great. You and Ashton will head out and celebrate your second wedding anniversary and meanwhile the boys and I will watch over the twins. We’ve got it all covered I bet we’re even better babysitters Ashton’s mom and Lauren!” Calum commented with confidence and stood up, leaving Luke with Zack in his lap. “Ashton even told us where to find the stuff. Diapers under the sink in the bathroom, bottles lined up in the fridge ready to be heated in the microwave and cuddly toys in their cribs. There’s nothing to worry about Y/N I promise.” You held your breath while Calum was speaking, looking up at Ashton who was smirking in delight. He did make sure that the boys were aware of everything and all. “And what if something goes wrong?” You questioned, a smile embracing your lips. “We’ll speed dial you the second it happens. As I said; Everything is under control. Now go out and have a blast of a night.” Pushing the both of you towards the door you barely got the chance to say goodbye to your babies before the door was closed. Ashton let out a giggle by Calum’s rush and fixed the tie around his neck. “Ready to celebrate?” He moved his hand in the air in invitation and a warm smile embraced on your lips. Though the second you hooked your arm around Ash’s the sound of glass crashing came from behind your front door and your eyes widened instantly. “Okay we have to leave before I regret this decision.” He mumbled under his breath while rolling his eyes, pulling you towards your car in a hurry. This was gonna be a nerve wrecking night and you as sure as hell were ready to clean up your whole house the second you would be back from the dinner. But for now, you and Ashton needed to enjoy each other. This was after all two years ago you got married. And what a blessing your life had become ever since.

Creepypasta #256: Resort Connection

Thoughts of Thai food from the place around the corner cluttered my concentration as lunchtime crept ever closer. No one makes hotel reservations in December. By now, virtually all rooms were booked and the best rates were a summer memory. Still, there is always a chance for a last minute booking so I waited, at the ready, for anything resembling a call.

Two clear tones signalled an incoming call. I glance at the clock. “Of course, just before I clocked out,” I thought to myself.

Putting on my dressiest phone voice I responded to the call. “Thank you for calling the reservation center, this afternoon. How may I help you?”

“I’m at the front desk of the Towers and they say our reservation has a problem” the woman explained, with a hint of desperation.

Forgetting about the proximity of lunch, I leapt into action. “I’m terribly sorry about the issue. Please tell me your name and the location you booked a stay at.”

“I’m Sandra Henshaw and I’m staying at The Bainbridge Towers and Resort,” She replied.

Unsure of the location, I did a quick search in the computer. “Are you sure that the location you are staying at is one of our hotels? I can’t find it in the system.”

“I dialled the number provided by the desk,” her tone sharpening.

“Where is the hotel located?” I query.

“Montserrat, it’s in the Caribbean.”

I search again, for any hotel in the region, in an attempt to justify my pay. The news is not getting any better. At this point, I can only hope she is merciful.

“We don’t have any hotels in the region, Ms. Henshaw. Because there has obviously been some critical miscommunication please allow me to direct you to customer care where we will attempt to find a solution for your evening lodgings.”

“You can’t be serious. I booked this over th—

I grasped at my headsets as a powerful rumbling ricocheted in my eardrums. Whatever had caused that noise disrupted the line leaving only a low steady dial tone. I quickly checked my hearing, narrowly donning my gear in time to address the next call.

"Thank you for calling the reservation center this afternoon, how may I help you?” My voice is a distant canned vaudeville star as I struggle to focus on the customer’s reply.

“This is clearly unacceptable,” the man’s voice full of intent and authority he continued in detail. “I have stayed at your company’s lodgings for nearly two decades. This is the only time I have ever arrived only to have the clerk inform me that the reservation was not completed properly. I’ve flown a great distance and hopped several islands. Would you please just get me into my room?!”

“Would you be attempting to check into the Bainbridge Towers and Resort, Sir?” I asked, fearing the start of an epic computerized clusterfuck.

“Yes, I am. I saw the commercial for the opening during last year’s finale of Friends and decided to book on a whim. My family was overdue for a summer getaway,” he continued - clearly frustrated at having to explain himself.

“Um sir, what time of the year did you say it was?” I asked as my brain started to nit-pick what he told me.

“Today is July 18th and instead of relaxing poolside with my kids we are currently standing in the lobby of a hotel in a foreign country with no place to stay. You need to fix this,” he said with a slowly raising voice.

“Well, according to my computer I-”

“I don’t care what your computer says - be creative and think of som-” the abrupt end of his voice was followed by another thunderous rolling roar through me headset. My fingers vibrated as I used them to shield my ears, reacting quick enough this time to avoid the same inner ear ringing as last time.

On a second hearing, I detect anguished screams from a panicked crowd. It’s muffled but I can hear dozens of voices cry out for assistance. Someone in the distance is providing reassurance and then silence engulfs the line.

Barely able to process, I take the next call on instinct. It’s only half-way through the customer’s complaint I regain focus at the sound of the phrase “Bainbridge Towers and Resort.”

“Miss ….”

“Miss Geraldine, is there any type of disaster occurring in the lobby? Anything that sounds like hell’s bowels exploding in surround sound,” I ask, knowing full well how the request for information sounds to a rational person.

“No, and is this some kind of joke?”

“Believe me, Miss Geraldine. I wish I could say I was kidding. All I know is that I have been receiving calls from several guests at the hotel where you are staying. No one’s booking is right and I keep getting disconnected due to something that almost sounds like an explosion in the background. But if everything is fine, then it must be an equip—-”

This time I hear the screams a few seconds before the rumbling engulfs the speaker. Shock, terror, and pleas for salvation fill the line as I listen helplessly.

My numbness is only interrupted by another voice at the end of the line as a call starts anew.

“Hello? Hello? Is anyone on this line? I’m stuck at my resort due to a booking error. Is there anything that -”

I interrupt the elderly gentleman on the other end of the line. “Get out of Bainbridge Towers, now. You need to seek shelter immediately. Some sort of disaster is about to occur.”

“Where can I go? I have no room anywhere? That’s why I’m calling you. Some grand opening you have here. Nothing but dozens of people unable to check-in, littering the lobby on whatever phones they can find,” he said.

“No, you don’t understand. I need you to flee the hotel at once for your own safety. Something is going to happen to everyone. Tell everyone to leave, now,” I pleaded.

“Now see here, I’m 82. Just how far do you think I want to be —”

Again, the line cuts out in tormented confusion. Again, I can’t help anyone. Again, I listen to the death cries to those around the caller. Again, I pick up the phone.

“Are you in Bainbridge towers?”

“Not according to the reservation desk,” replies a confused younger gentleman.

“Get out of there, now. Get everyone to flee for their lives before whatever is coming hits the hotel,” in desperation my voice is demanding the attention of the caller. Only afterwards do I realize this breach in etiquette.

“I don’t care who you think you are, but I booked a suite under the Honeymoon package and I will not tolerate this occasion being marred by your rudeness. I need you to -”

I hang up the phone and set the computer to stop receiving calls. I close my eyes and wonder how long the gentleman stood livid at my insubordination before being engulfed by his fiery fate. Maybe his bride was arriving later and she is still okay. Maybe, I’m just stressed and need a break.

I clock out slightly early for lunch and immediately regret my actions as my boss walks by.

“I’ve been meaning to speak with you today.”

My veins freeze, hoping that no one has been monitoring my last batch of calls.

“You are the new hire, aren’t you” she said. “I forgot to warn you about one of our yearly … instances,” she said apologetically. “The 13th of December is always heavy on calls from Bainbridge Towers. Eventually you learn to just place them on hold and tell them someone is on the way to assist them.

"Wait,” trying to balancing relief, fear and annoyance I asked, “So, this was all just a hazing? Did everyone get a good laugh at my expense?”

“You misunderstand,” she said. “Dec 13th is always when we get the calls from July 18th, 1995. That was when our hotel on Monserrat was lost due to an explosion from a volcano previously believed to be dormant. There is nothing we can do to help them, other than pretend we are directing them to customer service.”

Not sure I really believed her explanation, I sat stunned.

“Oh, and you don’t have any friends or family in any place called Nevada, do you? And you aren’t planning on being in that area around October 2023 or 2024. Those connections aren’t as good, so the details are a bit fuzzier,” she said matter-of-factly.

“Why, what happens then?” I asked, allowing my curiosity to take the bait.

“Work on February 23rd to find out, or don’t. I strongly recommend don’t.” She said, without looking back as she returned to her office.

As I head out for Thai food, I make a mental note to use whatever vacation time I have on Feb. 23rd.

Save Me - Part 2 - Chapter 18

The radio station was only about fifteen minutes away which was a good thing. Since there was a bit of traffic, we literally made it with just minutes to spare. Knowing Jared, he probably wasn’t thrilled about that but he didn’t say anything. He was actually in a pretty happy, relaxed mood.

I sat in the back of the van with Jared while Emma, Shannon and Tomo sat in the forward seats. As we pulled up to the entrance, there were barricades up with a lot of security guards trying their best to keep everyone in control. Fans were literally scattered down the block on both sides of the barricades, holding signs and cheering. Apparently the band being here for the morning radio show was heavily advertised.

Looking around, I was awestruck. “Wow… I can’t believe how many people are here.” I said, more to myself than anyone else.

“Yeah, I know. They’re giving away tickets to tomorrow’s show. What’s crazy is that they didn’t start to advertise that we were going to be here until this morning.” Jared happily said, I think just as shocked at the turnout as I was.

“Dude, this is unbelievable.” Shannon said, equally surprised, “There has to be at least 300 people.”

“Okay, baby,” Jared said, wrapping his arm around my shoulders, “hang close to Emma.”

Nodding my head, “Got it.” I said smiling.

“We’ll get out after them and wait inside.” Emma instructed.

“I’ll just follow you.” I said.

As soon as one of the security guards opened the sliding door, Jared jumped out first, followed by Shannon then Tomo. The crowd went absolutely wild! The guards looked like it was a struggle trying to hold the barricades in place as fans pushed for a closer view.

Emma stepped out and I followed. We went straight inside to the reception desk to check in. Within just a few minutes, we had our ID badges but the guys were still outside. We were on a schedule so they couldn’t stay out there all day.

“They’re taking forever..” Emma said, looking slightly frustrated and just about ready to go get them herself.

“Yeah, there were a lot of people.” I said shaking my head.

Just as I said that, the three of them walked through the doors looking like they had been through hell but all three had smiles on their faces.

“Man, I thought they were gonna blow the barricades!” Shannon exclaimed.

“Dude, I know! That was crazy.” Tomo agreed.

Jared and Emma exchanged words…and they sounded tense. I heard words like late and schedule, not that Jared seemed to care. I think, just as in the other parts of his life, it’s HIS way or the highway. HE wanted to greet the fans so that’s what he did. I’m sure he thought, why not take advantage of the free advertising, right…

We boarded the elevator together and were heading into the studio with moments to spare. Just as the guys walked into the sound stage and put their headphones on, the commercial break ended and they were introduced on air.

Emma and I watched from outside the glass studio but we could listen in. I have to say it was a really cool experience and I was captivated but Emma was already on her phone, moving onto the next thing on her list. For her, this was nothing special, more of an everyday activity. For me, it was neat to experience.

She had business things to deal with so I stayed in my little corner outside the glass doors and watched. Every now and again, Jared would look towards me and I could see him silently checking on me but gave nothing away. Each time I just smiled as he nodded, continuing on with his conversation.

The interview was rather short and after spending a few minutes doing some pre-recorded promos, they were done. One down and one more to go. Hopefully the next interview goes the same so that we’d still have most of our day to explore the city.

“We have about an hour before the next interview and I thought after that, we could go grab lunch?” Emma asked as we stepped inside the elevator.

“Yeah, that sounds good.” Shannon quickly responded as Jared looked towards me.

Instead of answering right away, Jared squeezed my hand to catch my attention. Without saying a word aloud, I knew he was asking if lunch with everyone was good with me or if I’d rather us be alone. Honestly, it surprised me he didn’t just make the decision without my input but then again, I know he initially wanted today to be a free day for us. Taking my thoughts into consideration just made him stronger and even more Dominant in my eyes.

I simply smiled then lowered my eyes and he took that just as I knew he would. Whatever he decided to do is what we do. Period.

“Lunch is fine. Find a place close to the hotel though.” Jared said as the elevator doors opened and we stepped out into the lobby.

Emma and I walked out of the doors together with the guys following behind us. Quickly making our way into the van, this time the fans only got a quick wave as everyone piled in. Time was of the essence since traffic is always so unpredictable.

Luck was on our side though because we got to the next radio station in record time. Given that fact, the guys were able to record the commercial promos before the interview instead of after which would definitely save a bit of time.

By one o'clock, we were heading back towards the hotel to a little cafe Emma had found.

Lunch was really nice and the food was amazing but the whole thing seemed rushed. We had just sat down and started to relax, enjoying our conversations until the food came. As soon as the plates were set down, Jared was hurrying me along and ready to go. Everyone could tell he was anxious to break away from the group and it was borderline rude. At least, in my opinion.

To a certain degree, I understood where he was coming from. We were limited on time together, I only had a few days with him, but still. If he didn’t want to go, he should have just declined the invitation and we could have gone our own way.

After lunch, we quickly said our good-byes and splintered from the group. Emma took whatever we didn’t need for our day exploring back to the hotel so we didn’t have to make the extra trip. Considering Jared’s behavior, that was sweet of her. Though I must say, I seemed to be the only one surprised by how Jared was acting.

“You guys have fun!” Emma said, giving me a quick hug.

“You too!” I responded as Jared waved them off with one hand while pulling me down the street in the opposite direction.

As soon as we were away from everyone, Jared seemed to relax, at least a little bit. We had walked a block before I decided to say something. I didn’t think I did anything wrong but by the way he was acting, I knew something was bothering him.

Weaving my arm through his as we walked, I leaned into him, pressing my temple into his arm. “Everything okay?”

“Yeah, why?” He asked.

“I guess you seemed fine earlier but at lunch you were a bit…. irritated.” I said as delicately as possible.

There’s nothing worse than telling someone they seem crabby.. In my experience, that’s just asking for a fight. Jared was quiet for a minute or two and suddenly, I got worried that the problem really did have something to do with me.

“I was ready for us to be on our own but I knew that everyone would have been pissy if we didn’t go with them.”

“Why would everyone be pissy? Not like you don’t see them very much!” I laughed, trying to lighten the mood.

“I think it has to do with you, not me.” Jared laughed, “They like you and want to get to know you which is fine but you’re mine and I don’t like sharing.”

I totally shared his sentiments but didn’t say it out loud. I was too overwhelmed by the adorableness of what he just said.

“Aww, that’s sweet.” I said, this time kissing his arm as we continued to stroll around Arendal. “I didn’t want to share you either..”

Jared smiled warmly as he kissed the top of my head. We didn’t have a lot of time together and I wished we did. Especially in such a beautiful place. Norway was absolutely incredible and I knew I definitely wanted to come back. After exploring the different touristy shops and museums for a few hours, Jared was ready to get back to the hotel.

“I had Emma make dinner reservations for us tonight so I think we’ll head back to the hotel and relax a little before we get ready for dinner.”

“Okay.” I happily said as we turned back towards the hotel. I didn’t really care what we were doing, as long as we were together.

As we walked I could sense another change in Jared’s demeanor. It was subtle at first but it was definitely there. His mind was elsewhere and for the time being, I just left it alone. Although he held my hand while we walked together, he had let it go as we stood waiting to cross the street only a block from our hotel.

Unsure yet again if I had done something wrong, I looked at him, our eyes connecting for a moment, “Is everything…” I began to say but was cut off as Jared brought his index finger to his lips.

“Shhhh.” He said, his face calm but stern.

Just as I was about to speak, the signal to cross changed. People began to pass us, though I was rooted in place. Breaking eye contact Jared looked ahead then grasped the back of my neck motioning me to walk. Feeling his hand against the back of my neck, asserting his dominance, instantly made my panties damp.

After we crossed the street, Jared slowed his pace, bending to whisper in my ear.

“You didn’t think I forgot about this morning, did you, baby girl?” Jared murmured, squeezing his fingers tighter.

I instantly remember our shower this morning and knew exactly what he was talking about. Shit. I thought maybe he would have let that one slide but I should have known better. Swallowing hard, I tried to quickly come up with something to say.

“I’m sorry I was a bad girl this morning, Sir.” I said turning my head as much as his tight grip would allow, all the while trying to walk and not trip.

Jared didn’t acknowledge my response at all and I knew that was definitely not a good sign. After my apology, I kept my mouth shut, not wanting to take a chance at getting myself in more trouble.

Approaching the hotel, the bell hops immediately recognized Jared and greeted us. I smiled and said hello while trying to act completely normal. Which couldn’t be further from how I was feeling. His silence wasn’t making me feel any better either.

Walking through the lobby, I felt my legs turning to jelly. My mind and body were a mess, a bit of fear mixing with anticipation, were a dangerous combination. As we waited for the elevator doors to open, I watched Jared’s reflection in doors. I’ve seen this look before and although I didn’t know exactly what was coming, I had a pretty good idea.

As soon as the doors opened we quickly stepped inside. He was still silent and the longer that went on, the more my mind was building anticipation. It was completely unnerving and exciting at the same time. When I couldn’t take it anymore, I spoke up.

“Do you accept my apology, Sir?” I said, my voice so soft I wasn’t sure he could even hear what I was saying.

But before he had a chance to respond, the damn elevator doors opened again. It was our floor. Wordlessly, we walked down the hall to our room, his grip still firmly in place. Stopping at our door, he slid the key card in the lock then pushed the door open.

It wasn’t until the door loudly shut behind us that he let go of my neck and quickly stepped in front of me. Jared silently regarded me, his eyes dark as the connected with mine.

“You’ve been a bad girl, first your teasing this morning then continuing to speak, knowing I wanted you silent. We have some things to work on baby girl.”

My heart raced as each word fell from his lips. I didn’t even know how to answer.

“Undress then come to me.” He instructed, “You have ten minutes.”

“Yes, Sir.” I said, my voice trembling along with the rest of me.

When I didn’t immediately start towards the bathroom, he raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Go.”

When they were in Indianapolis shooting To Please a Lady, Barbara’s business manager called her to ask what type of accommodation she would require. She told him she needed a bedroom and bath for herself, and the same for Harriet (her personal maid and friend), with a sitting room between. The business manager explained that Gable had requested that they stay in the best hotel in town, where blacks were not welcome. Barbara remained adamant. She wanted Harriet near her and requested that the business manager make the necessary arrangements. Later that day the director of the film, Clarence Brown, called Barbara to ensure her that Harriet would stay in the best “coloured” hotel in Indianapolis. The ever determined Barbara told him, “I’ll tell you what you can do to solve the whole thing. You make a reservation at the best coloured hotel in Indianapolis for two bedrooms and baths and a sitting room between, and that is where I’ll stay with Harriet. "Oh, Barbara, you can’t do that,” Brown protested. “The hell I can’t,” she said forcefully and hung up. As far as she was concerned the subject was closed. When they reached Indianapolis, she and Harriet both stayed at the best hotel in the city with Gable and the rest of the cast.
