i want to see alex and maggie in bed together. i want to see alex in reading glasses with her book, and maggie with her messy bun working on paperwork. i want maggie finally snuggling down to go to sleep and alex absentmindedly rubbing her back while she reads some more. i want to see alex already awake some morning, watching maggie sleep because she looks so cute even though she snores a little bit. i want to see maggie coming in extra late when alex is already asleep, crawling into bed and immediately big spooning alex so she can kiss her neck because she’s happy to be home. i just really want those sweet, domestic moments that happen naturally when you’re comfy with someone.
VANESSA J AS BLUE SARGENT
I’m a lover of books and The Raven Cycle is one of my favorite series of all time I AM OBSESSED!
I was planning on recreating a scene from the book but then I found out they were making the series into a tv series…I flipped out when I heard this because I am excited and nervous. Mostly because I’m worried that I wouldn’t get a chance to audition for Blue.
Tiny resume: I’ve been performing for 11 years, I’ve been in theatre competitions where I won best in show at district level and straight superiors at state level, and I am in the international theatre thespians society.
I hate talking about myself like that but it is to show that I am experienced in acting!
Blue and I both have a different sense of style, and strong personalities. I was hoping that I could get the support from the fandom because it would break my heart if I don’t get a chance to at least audition for a character I love and relate to deeply.

Maggie, listen to me please― No! Okay, we just started this, you and me. And it’s not gonna end. Not today, not for a long time. We just had our first Valentine’s Day, and I wanna do more with you. I want more firsts. I wanna have a first vacation, we haven’t even argued about where we’re gonna go yet, or how to… load the dishwasher, or what to name our first dog…
let me tell you why maggie is the best thing to ever happen to alex, in case you don’t already know. maggie walks in to alex’s apartment with questions, and alex doesn’t even so much as look at her before she starts crumbling. maggie doesn’t have to ask what she needs because she already knows. just like she knew exactly what to say (and what not to say) when alex came out. just like she knew there was more going on when alex broke it off after supergirl went missing. maggie doesn’t have to ask to know that alex will keep drinking, if only to drown in whiskey instead of her tears. because maggie knows alex, and she’s always there, always listening, always comforting, and being exactly what alex needs.
Where is my “Lena buys a small NC newspaper, and has them offer Kara a job as a reporter, because she feels like it’s her fault that Kara lost her job, but wants to keep it all under wraps. And Kara comes bounding into her office all excited like “oh my god, I can’t believe I got a new job so quickly, and it’s even better pay than at Catco, and I get to be an actual junior reporter and one of the senior guys is mentoring me and they say I can write about what ever I am passionate about” and Lena is like “oh rly?” and is just so happy that Kara is happy and doesn’t want anything in return, but to get to support her friend (oh and you know, casually encourages the newspaper to give Kara assignments that require her to interview Lena on a regular basis)” fic?
maggie is finally meeting alex’s family for dinner, which means sitting across from alex’s mother, who is trying her hardest to make up for years of neglect. and alex’s father, who has essentially just returned from the dead. she’ll be in the middle of this family built on love and support, despite their secrets. maggie knows the danvers don’t care that alex is gay, so her nerves will come from a place of inadequacy. she’ll wonder if eliza will look at her with wary eyes, scrutinizing every little detail of this woman she’s heard so much about. and she’ll wonder if jeremiah will see the way she looks at his daughter, and realize that maggie is in this for the long haul. she’ll wonder if they look at her and see someone worthy of alex, because even she isn’t sure how she got so lucky. but she shouldn’t worry, because every flare of nerves alex will meet with an encouraging smile, a quick squeeze of her hand, a bump of her shoulder….just to remind her that she’s there. to remind her that there’s a reason why maggie is at this family dinner, a reason why kara hugged her so tight she almost broke a rib…maggie is more than enough, maggie is loved, and she’s already family.
