Alanna is clearly a gryffindor. Brave, idealistic, fond of slaying literal and/or metaphorical monsters.
Daine is a ravenclaw. Curious, intellectually hungry, once stopped her heartbeat to listen to whales.
Kel is a hufflepuff. Loyal, hardworking, pragmatic. Mildly baffled when she gets recognition for doing something she considers her job.
Aly is a slytherin. Sly, clever, would never do something the normal way when she can do it a better way.
Beka is a little harder to pin down, but I think she’s a gryffindor at heart with hufflepuff methodology. She would like to be able to slay the world’s evils in one fell swoop, but knows she can’t. Instead she does her best to stop the small ones.
The first type of warlock. They live in the cold cities and suburbs around the world, unnoticed by the uninitiated. They fit perfectly in the modern lifestyle, but they don’t need smartphones to know the weather forecast or to communicate with their mates.
My husband ran into someone who recognized Skookum from here!
I think that’s the third sighting that’s stemmed from the blog or his Instagram, it’s so cool. I wish I had been with them, he said the person was very nice but I would have loved to figure out who you are.
Anyway, hello fellow seattle friend! From Sandy and Skookum 😊
He didn’t meant it to be as harsh, he was just desperate to leave that block before this became too overwhelming. It wasn’t the monster’s fault, it was never their fault, he knew that rule very well. but he couldn’t help his inner turmoil as it was, and looking for help was knocking at doom’s door for all he knew.
“ Look, just… the fall didn’t hurt me. nothing happened ” His hand rose before they said anything. “ Leave it, please. ”
Avanon took his bag as quickly as he could and started leaving, pushing off any protests and worry from the other. And by the time he had covered three blocks he finally felt his body loosen up slowly, yes, he was tense, but not as he was moments ago. Resignation for a time of peace on the streets had long since passed, for there would allways be monsters now, and suspicion could arise if his behavior became too notorious. At least the street he took seemed to have less influx of pedestrians, and most were using the other lane. Everything seemed better.
Yet why couldn’t he shake the feeling that he’s being watched?
