Kim Samuel was captured helping out a homeless person by a fan. He took the time out of his day to pay attention to the homeless magazine vendor, who was selling Big Issue magazines (a popular culture magazine created in the United Kingdom designed to help homelessness), and purchase an issue from him. It may be a small gesture, but every magazine sold is considered help to the homeless person selling it.
“When I was auditioning… they would send me the log lines of the character and if it said beautiful or gorgeous or pretty even they would delete it before they sent it me, because I would immediately call them and go ‘I will not be cast, It’s not going to happen!’ Not to put myself down or anything but I just always wanted to be a comedian.” [x]
Oh boy, I struggle with that too tbh! What I do is look at references and often go for a feeling like “this looks nice” and be my own critique.
I don’t do this that often anymore but you can try to decompose in geometric shapes/basic lines some poses you find interesting (either be in the internet or magazines~) what I think helps the most it’s the movement lines which, I drew red in these examples~~
Proportions may be the basics but those can be different for each drawing style, still I do recommend to study some anatomy and practice a lot!! Try to start with something simple and not to complicated like some torso pics and don’t be afraid to look at references or to do mistakes, we all are learning so it’s totally ok!
Here more stuff and as you may notice, not all of them have the same proportions but somehow they look “proportional” and since I’m still not confident enough in complicated poses, these are some simple ones :3
Also you can try simple skeletons with just circles and lines, then you can start building the pose from that.
Hope this helps you! I’m not that good explaining things
For those interested, CP appeared in this week's Life & Style in the Who Wore it Smarter? segment where they rate 6 actresses wearing the same type of outfit. This week it was 'frilly patterned frocks'. CP got third place with the description: "The Flash star CP dress serves up fashion justice! The "tattoo" print adds a retro vibe and the fit-and-flare style carves out curves. A metallic clutch would have upped the dazzle for a fab finish".
Thanks for the heads up! Not sure how to get a better quality picture online, but it’s on pgs. 50-51 of June 9th’s Life & Style for those who are interested!
Stiles, a famous actor, has agreed to a naked photoshoot for a magazine to help with a charity. His photographer for the photoshoot is Derek, and to say it’s difficult to keep it professional, for either of them, is a bit of an understatement.
Derek is not having a good day, he ended up in a cold shower, broke a glass, burned himself, and if that all wasn’t bad enough, his sister called out on her promise to babysit, leaving him with no other choice than to take his five-year-old daughter with him to his new job, normally that would be a problem, but apparently you can take some liberties when working on a show about zombies, and one of the main stars of the show just so happens to love Derek’s daughter (almost as much as he loves Derek)
