mag clippings

Deadly ghost gun high capacity magazine assault clipz.

I never understand why people make such a big deal about high capacity magazines. The 50 rounder in the Saiga .223 doesn’t feed worth a damn, same with the drum. Half of them are just for the novelty/fun - the only remotely practical one pictured is the 40 round Magpul Pmag.

Chadwick Boseman shows the fight in young Thurgood in 'Marshall' (exclusive clip and poster)

Thurgood Marshall’s legacy was guaranteed by his tenure on the Supreme Court of the United States and his historical place as its first African American justice.

But as the new biopic Marshall proves, the lawyer, who also famously argued the seminal Brown v. Board of Education case, was fighting the good fights long before.

The film is set around a 1940 trial in which a young Marshall (Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman) defends a chauffeur (Sterling K. Brown) against racially tinged accusations that he sexually assaulted and attempted to murder a wealthy Connecticut socialite (Kate Hudson).

In the exclusive clip above, the Baltimore native Marshall tells his attorney ally Samuel Friedman (Josh Gad) about his time at Howard University, when he brought a lawsuit against the University of Maryland Law School for not accepting black students. (Fun fact: Both Marshall and Boseman attended Howard.)

It went well. “The Supreme Court ordered the bastards to integrate,” Marshall tells a shocked Friedman. It was the Maryland Supreme Court, but still, there’s a good punch line to come.

Marshall is directed by Reginald Hudlin from a script by Jacob Koskoff and Michael Koskoff. It opens in theaters Oct. 13. For more info on the film’s characters, head to @MarshallMovie on Instagram.

Thirty mags in clip in half a second… 🤔

It's Daniel Radcliffe vs. jaguar in a tense clip from 'Jungle' (exclusive)

Daniel Radcliffe might want to give Mowgli a call to see how he survived The Jungle Book.

In the new thriller Jungle, Radcliffe stars as Yossi Ghinsberg, the real-life adventurer whose trip with two friends to the Bolivian Amazon turned into the stuff of nightmares as he ended up stranded in the wilderness (and among some sharp-toothed, hungry threats) for three weeks.

In the tense exclusive clip above, Ghinsberg is being hunted by a jaguar… with only a can of propane and lighter to defend himself.

To paraphrase our old jag friend Bagheera, the jungle’s no place for The Boy Who Lived. Or even a Swiss Army Man.

Based on Ghinsberg’s bestelling memoir Jungle: A Harrowing True Story of Survival and directed by Greg McLean (The Belko Experiment, Wolf Creek), the film co-stars Thomas Kretschmann, Alex Russell, and Joel Jackson.

Jungle hits select theaters and Digital HD on Oct. 20.

Purple Princess

I was feeling v cute today. My outfit was inspired by rookiemag. I am wearing:

  • Lilac nightgown - Salvation Army
  • Denim jacket - Goodwill
  • Birth of Venus socks - Hot Sox
  • Velvet Docs - Doc Martens
  • Butterfly clips - found in my childhood jewelry box :’)

Side note: my lipstick looks more like a berry red in the picture but it’s more purple/deep plum irl.

Meet Sia's character, Songbird Serenade, in a clip from 'My Little Pony: The Movie' (exclusive)

Sia doesn’t play herself in My Little Pony: The Movie. Which would be ridiculous because it’s an animated movie featuring the anthropomorphic ponies first made famous by the popular Hasbro toy line.

But if you’ve ever wondered how the music sensation would appear if she were to manifest as a Little Pony, your dreams have been answered.

In the new feature film, the Australian singer-songwriter voices Songbird Serenade, a pop-star pony whose long-banged, half-blond, half-brunette mane looks awfully familiar.

You can get a first look at Sia’s spirit pony in the exclusive clip above, where she’s encountered by the nervous Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong).

Directed by Jayson Thiessen, My Little Pony: The Movie also features the voices of Emily Blunt, Zoe Saldana, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, and Taye Diggs. It opens everywhere Oct. 5.

EJECTING BRASS!

I’ve spent the last four-five hours just getting spent casings and discarded mags to not clip through the floor or jitter around once they come to rest. As a compromise, they simply become completely static soon after they hit the floor.

I might consider having a “More Expensive Physics” option that leaves them all physically active so you can kick them all over the map.

Gonna have to do something about the sound at some point, the casings alone can max out audio channels!
