madly in love with me

anonymous asked:

Could you do number 4 and 9 on your prompt list with Alex?

i sure can,, thank you for requesting! hope you enjoy x

** i didnt do it mean,, but if you want alex being grumpy and mean then just let me know **

#4: “Shut up, nerd.” “I’m not a nerd.” “Then what are you?” “I’m madly in love with you.” “Ew, get away from me you mozzarella stick.”
#9: “You’re acting like a baby.” “And you’re acting like a bitch.”

Alex was talking about music, the history of guitars, and other fun facts he thought you’d be interested in. It’s not that you weren’t, but all you could focus on was how cute he looked and geeky he sounded. You loved him, his lame facts and all.

“Shut up, nerd.” You smirked.

He gave you a flat look for interrupting his speech. “I’m not a nerd.”

“Then what are you?” You challenged, shuffling closer to him on the bench.

He smirked, dramatically placing his hand over his heart. “I’m madly in love with you.”

You scrunched up your nose at the cheesy line. “Ew, get away from me you mozzarella stick.”

He acted offended. “Excuse me?” He exclaimed.

“You heard me!” You tried not to laugh. “Cheesy McCheese face!”

Alex burst out laughing, leaning toward you and grabbing you by the waist, sliding you into him. “That’s not very nice.” He mumbled into your neck.

“I’m not a nice person.” You shrugged.

He scoffed, leaning back to face you. “Says the nicest person ever.”

You rolled your eyes. “You are honestly so cheesy today.” You laughed. “And touchy.” You noted, realising just how much his hands have been on you today. “You’re acting like a baby.”

“And you’re acting like a bitch.” He sassed back, making you gape at him.

You slapped his arm lightly, making him laugh. “You’re rude.”

“I was joking!” He exclaimed, hugging you tighter into him so you couldn’t get away. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it!”

You rolled your eyes. “Yeah, yeah.” You scoffed, slapping his arm again for good measure.

Never in a million years did I think I’d find someone so utterly and completely perfect, someone who would make me happier than I ever dreamed I could be, someone that would touch my life so profoundly and just give me a whole new reason to breathe. But then I found you and realized that everything I hoped for you to be, doesn’t compare to who you really are. // Ashley, I am so madly in love with every ounce of you. You make me smile on the darkest days and be grateful for living. I know this is the beginning, but I can’t wait to be with you Forever and Always.👭❤ @ashleymariequadri

“Hey, princess” Jeff Atkins x Reader

Request: nishattazz Here’s an idea! Can you do one where y/n is playing a little hard to get, she’s Hannah friend and she’s pushing Hannah to confess to clay! Jeff tries to sit next to her and she doesn’t react (inside she’s dying) and like he tries to get a reaction out of her! And one time he talks to her and walks her backwards to the locker and make sure he gets a date or something like that! A lot of funny, flirty moments

“Come on, do it for me,” you said to your friend, Hannah Baker. You two were eating together at the cafeteria. Hannah laughed.

“Y/N… Shut up. I’m not going to ask him out” she said.

“Why not?” you asked “He’s a good guy and he’s obviously into you"

“He’s not into me” you rolled your eyes, “Fine. If he’s so into me why hasn’t he asked me out?”

“Because he’s shy!” you screamed then lowered your voice “You should ask him out”

“Yeah, Hannah, you should.” You recognized that voice in an instant. Jeff Atkins sat down next to you and you were trying to hide a smile. Hannah let out a loud laugh.

“C’mon, Hannah” you ignored the guy next to you. “Do it for me.“

“I’d do anything for you,” Jeff said. You couldn’t help but smile when looking at him. He gave you one of his infamous I’m-really-hot-and-I-know-it smiles.

“Oh, yeah?” you asked, raising an eyebrow, “What exactly would you do for me, Atkins?”

“I’ll get Hannah to ask Clay out” you laughed and looked at Hannah, who held a terrified expression.

“How did you know we were talking about Clay?” Hannah asked, biting her lips. Jeff winked at her.

“Actually, I didn’t know. Lucky guess.” you two started to laugh while Hannah rolled her eyes.

“You two are idiots.” she scoffed, “You know what, Jeff? Maybe you should ask Y/N out” she said. You were gonna kill that little asshole. He smiled at her.

“Well, it may surprise you to know, that I ask her out almost every day, yet she always turns me down” he looked at you then, “Right?”

“Fuck you, Atkins” you laughed.

“When and where princess?” Hannah started to laugh hysterically. How could he say things like that so casually and look so comfortable when saying it? Whereas your face resembled a ripe tomato.

“Only in your dreams, Atkins,” you said.

“Every night, Y/L/N” he winked at you.

“Oh my god, Jeff” Hannah giggled and honestly, you were doing a poor job trying to hide your own laugh.

“I have to go,” you said, gathering your things and walking out to the halls.

“You coming, Hannah?”

“No, sorry I can’t. I have to finish this essay for History.”

“Fine. See you in Geometry.” You looked at Jeff, “Are you coming or do you have homework too?” “

Hell, no.” he scoffed “Bye Hannah.” He waved goodbye and then fell into step beside you. His cologne was intoxicating and you were sure it was going to be the death of you. “So,” he started “do you think Hannah’s gonna ask Clay out or not?”

“I don’t know,” you said “But she has the biggest crush on him. She should do it”

“You should ask me out too” You rolled your eyes with a smile on your face. Jeff leaned on your locker, smiling.

“Yeah? And why would I do that?”

“Simply because you have a huge crush on me.” you laughed. He was so fucking right.

“Keep dreaming, Atkins”

“About you? All the time, babe” Your breath hitched a little. God, that boy was going to be the end of you.

“Ok so, since you’re so madly in love with me, you should ask me out again, maybe this time you’ll get lucky and I’ll say yes” The reason you had always refused to go on a date with Jeff was because this whole time you believed he was joking. A guy like Jeff Atkins would never go out with a girl like you…right? When you challenged him, Jeff’s eyes sparkled. He saw a chance and he took it.

“Well then, Y/N Y/L/N, would you like to go on a date with me?”

“Maybe. Yeah” you said, flirting “But we’re definitely not going to Rosie’s, there’s pink everywhere. It’s kinda sickening if I’m honest” you shuddered.

“Of course. Monet’s?”

“Monet’s”

“I’ll waiting for you here at the end of the day,” he said, starting to walk to his class, “Don’t be late, some would kill for an opportunity like this.”

“I’ll be here at the end of the day, Atkins,” you said, laughing. As he walked, Jeff screamed “I did it!” as he fist pumped the air in the middle of the hallway which made you giggle.

 Yeah, he did.

Thank you to lifeislikeatimebomb for helping me with the grammar and stuff!!!

Maybe it’s your laugh
Or the way you say my name
Maybe it’s the way you kiss me
Or the way you look at me
Maybe it’s none of that
Or maybe it’s all of that and more
But whatever it is
It made me
Fall madly in love with you

But I’ll always, always keep the memory of,

The way you hold your knife,

the way we danced till three.

The way you’ve changed my life

No, no, they can’t take that away from me

No… they can’t take that away from me…

Shall We Dance (1937)

One very important thing that I think about often is the bit in the First Branch of the Mabinogion when Pwyll, the cool prince who has two Welsh vowels in his name, thank you very much, sees this fantastically beautiful woman on a really cool horse, and he says to himself “well, I guess the only logical thing to do would be to get on my own dang horse and chase her,” and he gets some of his buddies together (but just the ones in Pony Club, because the horses are important) and he says to them “right, we’re just going to chase this woman for a bit, is that OK?” and his pals are like “I mean, can you quantify ‘a bit’?” and Pwyll just shrugs and says “until I catch her, I guess,” and then his friends all look at each other and say “yep, that seems like a solid plan, count us in,” and they all get on their horses and they start to chase her and

they keep chasing her without a break

for three days

and every time it looks like they’re catching up with her, time does this weird skippy thing like when you play a bad CD (a scratched CD, I mean, not just Kelly Rowland’s disappointing solo efforts) and they’re suddenly miles behind her again, almost like it’s magic, or possibly a very niche science trick that the men just don’t have the capacity to comprehend in a world without flushing toilets. Gradually, Pwyll’s men just bow out, some gracefully and some probably weeping about piles and missing dinner, and then Pwyll is alone in his pursuit. Exhausted, starving and probably desperate to use one of the aforementioned non-flushing toilets, Pwyll just cries out “I don’t understand! When I saw this woman riding ahead of me, I only had one option, and that was to chase her desperately like the protagonists of La La Land chased a false Hollywood ideal. There’s literally nothing else I can do, but I can’t carry on, and it’s not working,” and then suddenly this idea comes to him and he calls out to the woman “hey, can you stop!”

and she immediately stops

and he catches up to her

and she’s like “fucking hell, I’ve been waiting for you to ask me to stop for three days, I’m absolutely knackered. Also I’m conveniently madly in love with you,” and Pwyll is like “if you’re in love with me, then why didn’t you stop? I just ran about eight triathlons, and by ‘I’ I mean ‘my horse’, who will likely never forgive me,” and the woman (Rhiannon) just shrugs and says “well, you didn’t ask me to stop.”

And either it shows something about the perils of pursuing a goal relentlessly without taking a moment to consider your approach, or it’s a commentary on male expectations of women, or on hubris, but ultimately it’s just really fucking funny.
I’ve spent most of my life chasing the person I want to be. Because 20-year-old me will have better friends, and 25-year-old me will land a killer job, and 30-year-old me will be madly in love. And me 6 months from now will be skinnier, and me a year from now will be more confident, and me some time from now will be better somehow. So much better. For years, this is what I thought. That if I could just wait it out, everything would get better.
It took me a long time to realize that life doesn’t work that way. Older doesn’t mean happier or easier, and it certainly doesn’t mean better; it just means older. Life isn’t a well plotted screen play, or a checklist, or, God forbid, some waiting room. We have got to stop waiting. Because life isn’t about growing up to be all that we’ve ever wanted; it’s just about growing.
It’s about love, and change, and crying yourself to sleep when it’s all too much. And working at a burger joint, and kissing your best friend even though he might not like you back, and calling your mom every Sunday because you miss her like hell. It’s fights, and promotions, and hospital visits. And then it’s this: another wedding of another one of your college friends, the third one this year, but this time you meet a groomsman who’s just as down on love and you dance all night. And this: he cries when you say “I do.” And this: a kid with your eyes and his dorky ears.
Or maybe not. Maybe it’s this: you write everything, everywhere, all the time, even when the prettier kids make fun of you, and the short teacher with the big nose tells you it’s good. Really good. And this: you’re living in a shoebox, by the skin of your teeth, but there’s a bar across the street that lets you read your poetry, and every time you do, someone in the crowd finally knows what it feels like to be understood. And this: your words being published. Your words. Being bought by people who could be spending their money on anything at all. And you sit in your twin bed where you’ve written your entire novel, a dozen empty coffee mugs still dirty on the nightstand, and you scream until your lungs burn.
It’s all of these things, and bad things, and good things, and the raw realization that it doesn’t get better or worse, it just gets different. It just changes. Always, always changes. And somehow that makes it more wonderful. Because future you may have the friends, and the boy, and the job, but she didn’t get it by waiting around. She is a product of you. Right now, tomorrow, changing and growing every moment that follows. She is kind, and breathing, and beautiful. But she waits for the day she doesn’t have to worry about paying a mortgage bill, and she worries too often about what people think of her. She still doesn’t have it together.
And maybe that’s what I’ve learned after all this time: nobody has it together. We’re all just here, floundering around in pursuit of being something more. Broken, thoughtful creatures with too much time on our hands, desperate for the companionship of someone who reminds us that we are not alone. We don’t have much of anything figured out. Maybe we never will. But more importantly, I think that’s how it’s supposed to be.

Friendly Reminder

Fenrys is still under Maeve’s blood oath BUT he is also going with her and Aelin to Mistward (or wherever the hell it is they’re going I forget).

WHICH MEANS we will get to see Fen fighting TOOTH AND NAIL AGAINST THAT BLOOD OATH TO SAVE HIS TRUE QUEEN AELIN ASHRYVER GALATHYNIUS.

Also, prediction time: somehow Fenrys is going to go against the Oath to save Aelin. It might… *gulp* … kill him… but he will do it. AND/OR he will end up taking some of her punishment on her behalf which means he will be at Maeve’s mercy (god I hate that bitch) or that asshole Cairn’s.

REGARDLESS - we’re going to see a looooot more of Fenrys in the next book. And more of his endless love for Aelin fight me he’s madly in love with her okay this is a fact.

Fangirl Challenge: [5/15] Weddings » Stefan and Caroline (The Vampire Diaries)

“Caroline, you’ve been my friend, my conscience, my sounding board. You saw light in me when all I saw was darkness. You saved me from despair. You told me once that I would fall madly in love without realizing it. And that’s what happened. Day by day, bit by bit, year by year…with you.”
