My parents taught me never to judge others based on whom they love, what color their skin is, or their religion. Why make life miserable for someone when you could be using your energy for good?

It just kind of conjured up all these feelings of anxiety I had in a relationship where everybody was watching, everybody was commenting on it. You’re constantly just feeling like, ‘Are we out of the woods yet? What’s the next thing gonna be? What’s the next hurdle we’re gonna have to jump over? Are we gonna make it to next week?’ It was interesting to write about a relationship where you’re just honestly like, ‘This is probably not gonna last, but how long is it gonna last?’ Those fragile relationships … It doesn’t mean they’re not supposed to happen. The whole time we were having happy memories or crazy memories or ridiculously anxious times, in my head it was just like, ‘Are we OK yet? Are we there yet? Are we out of this yet?

Trini has no idea what it is, but all of the Rangers love her brothers. Of course she loves them too, but they’re her brothers, and there’s no way that they’re as cute as Kimberly insists they are. They’re definitely not as sweet as Jason believes them to be. (She won’t admit it, but she’s glad that her friends like her brothers because she loves those little shits)

Jason teaches them football whenever he’s over, tells them that if they don’t want to play, it’s completely fine and they should find something that makes them happy. He always somehow gives them a little lesson. (And when Trini’s not around or listening he whispers “Make sure your sister is happy, okay?” Even though he knows Trini is perfectly capable of taking care of herself)

Billy shows them his little inventions and they both love learning how they work and shows them some basics of breadboarding. (Later that week Billy gives them a short lesson on the basics of aerospace, and when Trini ventures to the basement to get them for dinner, she’s nearly knocked out by a mini rocket)

Kimberly showers them with little gifts, and they get excited every single time. Even if it’s something as small as a chocolate bar. (Sometimes they tell her she’s pretty and she blushes, and then one of them ask if she likes Trini, which just makes her blush harder and she tells them to go play)

Zack, being the little shit he is jokes about knowing the power rangers and says the Black Ranger is the most attractive, and that the Yellow Ranger is a “crazy girl”. Trini’s brothers eat his stories up and always asks if he can take them to meet the Rangers and he just winks and says, “maybe you already have.”
