  • Twice: *doesn't change the female pronouns when they cover songs by boy bands although the majority of female artists do*
  • Chaeyoung: *watched Carol (a lesbian movie)and wrote a defense for it, cut her hair short to be like Kristen Steward, likes being called oppa, hyung, and boyfriend*
  • Nayeon: *wanted to use rainbow lights to set the mood in their dorm bedroom, got matching rainbow nails with Blackpink's Jennie*
  • Jeongyeon, Momo, and Jihyo: *watched Yuru Yuri, a yuri anime*
  • Momo: *is Twice's mom and dad along with Jeongyeon aka Twice's married couple, danced a couple dance with Mina for the theme This Love, called Mina her gf multiple times, bragged about the Mimo kiss for days*
  • Mina: *likes it when Nayeon rolls over to her bed, cooked just for Momo, was flushed over the Mimo kiss for days*
  • Sana: *calls Eunha her gf, kisses Dahyun 24/7, gets all the girls numbers, was upset her chances for getting a gf weren't higher, said she pays more attention to girls while watching tv, etc. etc.*

Lame adaptations and sequels are always like, “how can Mina go back to her stifling Victorian marriage after her experience with the dark, seductive Dracula??”

Meanwhile, Mina marries her best friend, who she’s known since they were children, who she share common interests with, they build a home together, work as partners, make immense sacrifices for each other, support each other through their traumas.

Guys, a marriage isn’t stifling and restrictive just because two people… get along, I guess?

it’s so funny that people dedicate so much of their time trying to bring down twice like listen sis,, they could release a full album of just them sneezing and South Korea will still eat that shit up because that’s just how much their success is engraved into the kpop industry. even if you don’t like their music, you’ll never be able to take their success away from them and that’s all that matters at the end of the day. they’ve worked so hard to get where they are, just like your faves have too so maybe instead of trying to drag them down you should focus on your faves and let twice breathe for a minute instead of jumping on a hate bandwagon just because you think it’s cool or because you’re jealous at how fast they’ve shot to the top. :)

Things I Just Assume Every Other Member of the Dracula Fandom Does
  • Concocts names, personalities, and very detailed life stories for the three women in the castle.
  • Mulls over the many completely not-vampire-related adventures of Quincey, Art, and Jack prior to the novel’s actual beginning.
  • Mulls over some vampire-related ones too.
  • Thinks up at least one “Okay, but what if Dracula won and everyone was a vampire” AU.
  • Tries to work out the relationship dynamics of something that generally ranges between an OT4 and an OT7.
  • Tries to work out said dynamics in an AU where everybody is also a vampire or where some people are vampires or where people who were vampires aren’t vampires anymore.
  • “Okay, but what if it was modern times, and this was all vlogging.” (See: Mina Murray’s Journal)
  • Attempts to create their own Mina/Dracula romance that is not abjectly and irredeemably terrible.
  • Agrees that the Mina/Dracula romance is the Coppola film was irredeemably terrible but really wants that dress.
  • Knows that Renfield is 59 in the novel but still keeps imagining him looking like Dwight Frye.
  • Thinks very hard about how the novel would go if the vampires followed some other type of vampire rules (VtM, Vampire Chronicles, Twilight, that thing you read in a clunky non-fiction book full of alleged folklore, etc…).
  • Knows that Dracula is totally groddy in the novel, but still imagines him looking like Christopher Lee/Frank Langella/Marc Warren/those illustrations in the Castlevania manual/etc…
  • “Okay, so this adaptation might have changed the cast’s names and relationships/made Mina illiterate/turned Jonathan turn into a vampire/had Arthur make a Faustian pact to cure his syphilis/something else, but hear me out.”
  • Has important thoughts on how the Crew of Light continues post-novel as a goofy, loveable crew of supernatural investigators/vampire hunters.
  • Makes Leonard Wolf’s recipe for paprika chicken at least once.
