within the context of byler fights, i see a lot of people say that mike is short-tempered and like while that may be true i feel like will is even quicker to just... snap. like, he gets very emotional very quick. in their fights, mike's voice stays pretty constant and even, but will's quickly starts getting watery, loud, pointed, cracking, etc. he speaks from his chest. his tone goes up and down. he uses his hands a lot. his eyes are wild and wide and boring into mike, challenging him almost. he pokes at mike. still, mike doesn't escalate; he matches will's hurt with his own, but he doesn't outwardly burn quite as hot. not with him. i just.. idk. i think it's interesting. will's anger is often overlooked or outright ignored in fandom, but it's very clearly there.
#i just think of the rink o mania fight n the rain fight n also tht 'freak' talk he had with jonathan in s2#and like yeah mike is immediately squaring up with literally everyone else going from 0 to 100000#but with will? that does NOT happen. the most tht he snapped was during the rain fight when he was mean n raised his voice#but even then it wasn't as strong as how will was yelling. it was very obviously just a reflex and he IMMEDIATELY backed down#and reeled it in. and in the rink o mania fight he's not speaking to him in a warm tone but it's when will says i waSNT bEINg a DOUCHE in#tht emotional tone tht mike matches it but again it's the same story#he's not reaching will's level of rage and he doesn't even FLINCH or MOVE when will touches him#when it's them in their own little world mike controls himself n will is the one tht burns bright n hot#like. he's not ur uwu soft boy !!!!!!!! he gets Big Mad!!!!! he uses his hands he pinches his face he gets attitude he pokes n jabs!!!#in literally every other scenario will is the 👀 to mike's 🤬#but when they're arguing with each other it's mike's 😐🥺😟🫤😢 to will's 😒😤🤬🫵🗣#when it comes to will mike routinely backs down and deescalates and goes to make it right afterward#n if they come away still angry with each other then he keeps it to himself in the sense tht its not an all out war situation like w max#like idk. i just think it's interesting to think abt.#byler#mike#will#byler thoughts#if this goes in the tag i'll jump bt i want this in my own tags </3

Mad Max Fury Road Headcanons
Hi Anon! Thank You SO MUCH for asking! It really does mean a lot to me. To answer this I'm gonna have to go on a bit of a rant, as I've thought about this too much and have put far too much detail into these particular headcanons. I'm also gonna be answer this back-to-front.

War Boys and Bedrooms
(I really didn't mean for that title to look so much like an innuendo, but I'm not mad about it)
We're starting with the Niche Stuff cause I think it's a bit more interesting and fun to read.
Most Warboys sleep in The Pit, the lowest level of the second tower.
In the early days, when there was less space, it was tradition for crews to carve and dig out the walls, making their own alcove to claim. This has largely fallen out of practice, as the turn over rate of the warboys leads to there almost always being empty alcoves to claim. Infighting over alcoves that are considered 'the best’ remains rampant.
Warboys are also known to carve out personal nooks just about anywhere the wall depth allows, rules were quickly implemented about what walls can and cannot be carved into, to prevent the citadel from coming down around their ears. To circumvent uncarvable walls, Warboys will embed hooks into the walls or ceiling to securely suspend beds and platforms, building these nests absolutely everywhere.
Imperator alcoves are called ‘grottos’. They’re among the highest levels of the second tower, have windows, multiple rooms, bedding, and direct access to aquacola.
The Coma-Doof Warrior was granted his own Den as a reward from Immortan for his singular talents, (at his request)most of his rooms are open to the sky(for premium sunbathing), with many hammocks of varying sizes strung up in every room. His rooms have the same amenities as an Imperator's Grotto and are connected to a smaller lower floor that he arranged to be given to his Drummers and crew.
Warboys commonly bunk in alcoves with their crew, in nooks within the dorms that are unofficially separated by role, in a personal nook/nest, (rarely)in their imperator’s grotto, or in an alcove with their friends allies.
The general opinions of the warboys on the bunks goes, from least cushy chrome to most: Nest, Nook, Alcove(commonly just ‘Cove’), Grotto, Den, Trove(Immortan&sons rooms), Vault(the wives)
Now onto the more nitty-gritty stuff!
The Citadel: Towers, Levels, and Floors
In my headcanon the towers of the Citadel are organized into Levels and Floors, typically with multiple floors making up each level. Every level and some floors are named, ostensibly for ease of reference, but mostly for my amusement. Each rank of person in the Citadel is separated into a different level within the towers. We'll go tower by tower.
The Levels of the First Tower of Citadel, listed highest to lowest(with named floors):

Oh, I haven’t posted anything here for a long time, sorry for this lull😣 But, during this long absence, I did some Mad Max drawings.
The penultimate drawing is a modern universe with characters from Fury Road. I only had enough strength for Sleat. Well, while drawing, I tried not to look at Josh (HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL🤧💞)
As for the last Art, I have a little headcanon that Nux has never been patted on the head, and these actions make him embarrassed and ashamed, since war boys are not supposed to do this at all. (Someone take pity on him and pat him on the head, he's fucking trying to help :( )
