My friend and I met Stacey Denton, Queen of Hobos in downtown Seattle. She was a sweet, smart individual and she loved life. She was so grateful that we slowed down to hear her speak, and she did so at length. She talked about women’s issues, the apathy of the rich towards the world, and the kindness of everyday people. Stacey sang every morning in front of Starbucks at Westlake, and although some people may have been annoyed at her being herself, we only loved her more for sharing her joys with the world, even though she had so little.
