Setting:Underground Boxer AU/1920s-ish AU Characters/Pairings: Goku/Chi-Chi; featuring Lazuli (18) and several others Word Count: ~4400 (???) Chapter/Part: 1/? Summary: He was the fighter no one would bet on. She was the dame who didn’t think twice.

“You’re one persistent son of a bitch, you know that Goku? Comin’ here year after year. The crowd’s probably gettin’ tired of you by now.”
“Nah, that’s not true.” Now finished with wrapping the tape around his hands, he turned and grinned. “We both know I put up a good fight out there. And who knows? This might be the year.”
