m emma watson

Monday 8:27am
I woke up with you on my mind.
You called me babe last night —
my heart is still pounding.

Tuesday 10:53pm
Today I realized we won’t work.
What we are is hurting her.
And I think she matters more to me than you do.

Wednesday 11:52pm
I broke things off with you today.
She barely said a word.
I’ve never regretted anything more than this.

Thursday 4:03pm
I shouldn’t have sent that message.
You shouldn’t have been so okay with receiving it.

Friday 9:57pm
I almost messaged you today.
I didn’t.

Saturday 8:49pm
I’m walking around town in search of alcohol.
They say that liquor numbs the pain of having a broken heart.
I want to put that to the test.

Sunday 2:32am
I heard you texted a girl you’ve never spoken to before.
I wonder if it’s because you’re trying to replace me.
I can’t help but wish you weren’t.
I thought I was irreplaceable.

When I see the images again from the first ‘Harry Potter’ I immediately think how bad my hair was. It is always surprising for me, to see how long this period of time is, where I have come and from where I started. It is pleasant to follow that journey. I want to be a woman of the Renaissance. I want to paint, and write. And above all I want to continue to act. I simply want to do everything.

a few notes about beauty and the beast:

• jean was searching for/forgetting his wife and son and I didn’t get that until now and I’m so :(((
• emma watson is so hot pls wife me
• the lil added songs that just made me so warm
• lefou (and the entire movie) was gay as hell I love josh gad
• at the end when she asking him about a beard and he just growled and the whole thing was just so kinky why
• the guy in orange who got a makeover I LOVE HIM
• why did nanny mcphee just show up??
• THE SCENE WHERE SHE FIGURED OUT HOW HER MOM DIED AND SHE SAID “LET’S GO HOME” AND THE WHOLE THING WAS JUST SO PURE
• lumière dabbed ??
• I’m in love with dan stevens his acting and voice (and face) were just so perfect I love him (why did emma bring up him being kinda hot as the beast bc now I can’t unsee it kill me)
• something there !!!
• dan stevens giving her a library just to prove her wrong about r&j
• I was so lit during the mob song
• I went in with super low expectations but omg it was so amazing the cast (even tho they should have cast more broadway voices) and the music and the costumes and the sets … I loved this movie

Looking back, I can’t remember the truth. I blew everything out of proportion so I could feel the hurt and betrayal and write about it in vivid detail. It was my own method of torture. My own undoing; and I enjoyed every second of it.

Let’s talk about the backstory parallels between Belle and the Prince

(yes, this will spoil the backstory, so stop reading now if you haven’t seen this masterfully done adaptation of a movie)

First up, is anyone else annoyed by ppl saying that the movie’s nice but they basically just copied the animated one? Bec hell no. Fyt me. The backstories are amazing and subtle, and what truly sold this movie to me just a while ago.

To those who haven’t stopped reading even t the risk of spoilers, turn back before it’s too late!

Too late. The parallels between the prince’s and belle’s upbringings!!! Both of their mothers were taken away from them at a young age–presumably both by sickness. They’re two sides of a coin because of their fathers.

Belle, smart and kind, raised by the effing best M A U R I C E. She’s headstrong, mature and educated.

Beast/Prince (he is not a beast, sorry), tantrum-throwing and immature, raised by his dick of a father into his own likeness, an entitled snob.

(idk this just reminds me of the parallels between Peter Pettigrew and Neville Longbottom <3 )

some thoughts i have on the new beauty and the beast (spoilers obviously)

-such beautiful cgi. im serious. holy shit. budget well spent.

-dress wasn’t as ugly as it looked. it was very pretty in motion and the glitter didn’t look that fake. still very bright yellow tho.

-luke evans as gaston was perfection.

-those added backstories? wtf? nobody wanted to know what happened to belle’s mom? unnecessary extra tearjerking material.

-that ‘exclusively gay scene’? literally one second. ONE. and it was le fou first dancing with a girl and then ending up with a dude when everyone switched dancing partners

-said other dude and two other dudes were ‘forced’ into women’s clothing during the last battle in the castle and while the other two ran away screaming, he seemed to enjoy it. mmmmmm.

-lefou is less dumb and even turns good in the end, but what they dialed down in stupidity, they dialed up in ‘stereotypically sassy gay’.

-during the gaston song, there’s this line somewhat like ‘no one bites like gaston’. while singing it lefou pulls up his shirt and reveals a prominent bite mark and it’s implied that gaston put it there. wtf. what does that mean???

-the enchantress living a double life as an impoverished widow in the village. why??

-they added a few new songs and while they aren’t as good as the original ones they aren’t bad either

-i read a lot of articles claiming that this movie is a more feminist version of the original and here’s my question: wherr?? like seriously, where?

-i feel like they added a lot of unnecessary stuff and it didn’t really add anything to the movie aside from making it longer?

-the characters they added for audra mcdonald and stanley tucci were awesome tho

-also ewan, emma and sir ian were amazing obvi

in conclusion: it was a very beautiful movie, visually speaking, and pretty entertaining, objectively speaking, but it was incredibly over-hyped and praised for things it just didn’t deliver on (feminism? gay representation?). If it wasn’t for these things it would have been a pretty good movie. except for that bite mark. wtf disney.
