M!A: Accepted! Mikey was sitting in the living room, playing on his phone. He was bored, but rocking the game he was playing. He smiled “AWE YEAH!” he said as he got the new high score. “New High Score!” He got up to do his happy victory dance, but suddenly doubled over in pain, his chest convulsing as he fell into a fit of coughs. “Wh-what’s happening?” he said between coughs. he fell over and began coughing up blood. He couldn’t speak, couldn’t yell for his brothers the coughs were so strong. More blood. He was struggling to breath now. His vision went blurry and he caught a glimpse of one of his brothers rushing to him before his world went dark. -a day later- Mikey groaned as he opened his eyes. He felt something strange on his arms and looked around to see he was laying in a grass field. “How did I get here?” He mumbled, his memory was a little fuzzy. He heard people nearby and lifted his head without much effort. Was that… Yeah it was his brothers and father and April and Casey. He stood up and felt strangely light as he walked. His family looked… sad. April was crying in Casey and Donnie’s arms. Why were they sad? “Hey why so glum guys?” He asked, but they didn’t seem to hear him. “Guys?” He looked at what they were staring at. It was a grave stone… with his name on it. His eyes widened. “No!NONONO! I can’t be dead!! I can’t! Please tell me this is just a joke!” He said in panic and shock. He turned to his brothers. “Haha, you got me guys. Now Pranks over.” The just kept staring. “I should’ve been faster. I heard him fall. If I had just been faster…” Raph whispered, tears coming to the corner of his eyes. Leo put a comforting hand on his red masked brother and Raph responded how he rarely does. He hugged Leo and started crying. There was no younger brother to cheer him up, no one to crack jokes or do silly pranks to lighten the mood. He was gone. Leo bowed his head, trying not to cry to be strong for the brothers he had left. Sensei put a hand on their shoulder. “My sons,” He said quietly, gaining their attention. “We must go. A storm is coming and we must get home before the sewers become flooded.” They nodded numbly, but as they walked away, everyone stole one last glance at the grave of their little brother. “But, I’m right here! Guys?"Mikey felt like crying. He didn’t want it to be true, but he knew it was. He was dead. He had died in the living room on the floor, coughing his lungs out. Solemnly he looked at the grave and bowed sadly before following his brothers. He didn’t know where else to go but home.
