I love that you're a fan of Taylor Swift's music, what's your top 5 of her songs ?

Only 5?!??? Oh gosh…this is hard it’s be easier if it was top 3 from each album! I feel like most of my favorites will be her newer less Country influenced stuff. I actually finally took the plunge and got a Tumblr in Nov 2014 because I was so highkey for the 1989 album. Like…completely obsessed. I’ve actually been a fan/listener of her music since 2006/2007. Most of my favorite are from the 1989 album, but instead of just listing all the songs from that album lol… I’ll cap myself at only 5, and the rest from other albums. I’m gonna give you top 10 though…not top 5 :P

If I had to choose my top 10 favorite songs they would have to be:

1. I Knew You Were Trouble (RED)
2. Wonderland (1989)
3. Shake It Off (1989)
4. I Wish You Would (1989)
5. Bad Blood (1989)
6. Out Of The Woods (1989)
7. 22 (RED)
8. Better Than Revenge (Speak Now)
9. Haunted (Speak Now)
10. Teardrop On My Guitar (Taylor Swift)

This was so difficult!! 😫 IKYWT and Wonderland for sure are my top 2 favorite songs though. I, without a doubt, listen to those ones a LOT.

okay but WHY

is no one talking about the fact that LWYMMD’s major graphic during the chorus

features a snake eating it’s tail

and is reminiscent of the ancient symbol of Ouroboros

which symbolizes creation out of destruction/life out of death (*cough* the old taylor swift is dead *cough*), the concept of eternity and the eternal return, death and rebirth, and immortality (*cough* i rose up from the dead, i do it all the time *cough*)

not only is she reclaiming the symbol of snake as hers BUT she’s also implying that she’s indestructible and a force to be reckoned with

ANYway this was just your friendly reminder that everything taylor swift does is carefully planned because she’s an artistic genius
