juicing progress

hello friends,

if any of you have been curious about how this juicing has affected my body, I’m very excited to share the results thus far with you.

Firstly, I started juicing because I have a sensitive stomach problem and solid food will come back up more often than not. I was taking a lot of vitamins (A LOT) and a few other prescriptions which all required i eat food in order to digest them! grrrr so I needed to find a way to get all my vitamins naturally. Boy, let me tell you! Best decision I ever made.

The vitamins I was taking from capsules made me feel a little queasy and they made my pee nuclear yellow which was mildly concerning. I now take NO pills and it changed everything that my body produces. Less mucus, softer hair, harder faster growing nails, my skin is clearing up, and of course normal colored pee. My kidneys are thanking me for that.

I was feeling really down and lethargic when I started this and I had no intention of doing a juice fast. The plan was to just make juice when I felt like it and feel proud for having drank it at all. What happened was the juices were so delicious and filling that I completely lost my appetite for all of the unhealthy food I used to crave! It’s unbelievable. I am not only a picky eater who hated vegetables but I’ve always had a huge sweet tooth. It turns out those cravings are just your body asking for what it needs in a weird way, so if you give it everything it needs the cravings go away.

I have solid food when I feel like it (fruits, rice products, fish, etc) but if I have a fruit smoothie in the morning and a veggie juice at night that completely satisfies me. Some people warned me against dehydration so I’m sure to be drinking water all day long. I have been doing this for two weeks now and have had no problems at all. I have more energy, I feel happier, and I crave those tasty fruits and veggies.

I really would recommend trying this, for anyone and everyone. I did a LOT of research on this subject so if anyone would like to start juicing or making smoothies and has any questions please feel free to message me :)

side note- i did this with no real intention of losing weight, but without even trying (no real exercise beyond walking has been done) I have dropped 10 lbs in the last two weeks, That sounds alarming, but I feel so good and I keep in contact with my doctor about my diet and he is nothing but pleased with my progress.
