Mythology Book Rec

A book rec for people who want more mythology based books, like the Percy Jackson books, I created a list of books that use mythology as a basis for the books. 

Nobody’s Princess by Esther M. Friesner - An interpretation of Helen of Troy as a teenager.

The Chaos of the Stars by Kiersten White - A mix of Egyptian and Greek mythology in a modern day setting.

Antigoddess by Kendare Blake - The Greek gods are slowly dying.

Valkyrie Rising by Ingrid Paulson- Norse mythology in a modern day setting looking specifically at Valkyries.

Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs - The decedents of Medusa fight evil.

Oh My Gods by Tera Lynn Childs - The decedents of Greek gods go to boring school.

Daughters of the Moon by Lynne Ewing - The daughters of Selene fight the evil Avox and defend hope.

I have always loved mythological creatures, but I think too many YA paranormal books focus on four creatures: vampires, werewolves, angels and fairies. So with the help of my followers (really they did all the work, I just wrote down the books into categories), I have compiled a list of books with underrated mythological creatures.
