The Zodiac Signs as Lies

“I’ve read the terms and conditions”: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Aquarius

“I’m fine”: Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Libra

“I don’t love you”: Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces

When people make you feel unwanted, don’t leave to make them feel sad or guilty, they won’t. Leave because you no longer have a reason to stay. Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself. What’s meant to be will end up good and what’s not - won’t. Love is worth fighting for, but sometimes you can’t be the only one fighting. At times, people need to fight for you. If they don’t you just have to move on and realize what you gave them was more than they were willing to give you and more than they deserve.

Why :) are :) boys :) never :) honest :) about :) their :) intentions

Let him go, get him out of your head; Remember you’re not in his. Forget his birthday, his phone number, and the sweet things he said; Remember those were lies. Delete his texts, take his contact out of your phone; Remember he’s talking to all those other girls instead. Quit wishing he’ll come back, stop putting yourself down. Remember it’s not your fault; he had no good reason to leave. Just stop it, stop it all, and erase him from your past. Block out his name, ignore his texts, plug your ears when someone mentions him because trust me, you’re doing perfectly fine without him. Take every object and memory you have of him and throw it in the trash, and then maybe, if you’re lucky, you’ll escape him.

Expression study #1 - Lying.

I’m sorry Jack, but I am not going to be able to trust you again unless I manage to understand when you’re lying.

Noted habits so far: looking away, lips curling up for a split second, licking lips more frequently than usual, stuffing a mouth full of food so his expression can’t be read, staring at the camera silently.

I’ve been walked on, used and forgotten and I don’t regret one moment of it because in those moments, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned who I can trust and can’t. I’ve learned the meaning of friendship. I’ve learned how to tell when people are lying and when they’re sincere.

Just a reminder that Varric grew up taking care of his alcoholic mother and staving off her drunken rages while Bartrand was off making money and throwing parties.

Just a reminder that Varric was emotionally abused and toyed with by his ex-girlfriend.

Just a reminder that Varric apologizes even when he did nothing wrong.

Just a reminder that Varric blames himself for bad things that happen to his friends when he’s around.

Just a reminder that Varric loses his home to someone he thought he could trust.

Just a reminder that Varric’s own brother betrayed him and left him for dead just for some money.

Just a reminder that Varric isn’t as put together as he acts. He’s been hurt, abused, betrayed, and he tries to bear the burdens of those around him. He’s a man who uses humor to hide how hurt he is. Varric is a man who is kind and extremely generous even after all he’s been through.

Varric is a man who loves deeply and genuinely despite all the pain he has endured at the hands of loved ones and trusted friends. He is a man who thinks often of his friends from Kirkwall, sounding so happy when he speaks of them.

Varric is precious and should be protected.
