Long post ahoy.

So it‘s National Autism Awareness Month and in the spirit of I thought I would put together a collection of some of my and my wife’s autistic female faves from fiction. (We’re both on the spectrum and we both love finding characters who are too.) Some are ones I’ve seen around these parts before; we’ll be glad to give you receipts for all of them.

Bennett Halverson (Summer Glau, Dollhouse) Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi, Pacific Rim) Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon, Ghostbusters) Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet, Agents of SHIELD)

Misty Knight (Simone Missick, Luke Cage/Defenders) The Dag (Abbey Lee, Mad Max: Fury Road) Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch, Harry Potter) Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner, Game of Thrones)

Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie, Game of Thrones) Winifred Burkle (Amy Acker, Angel) Honey Lemon (Génesis Rodriguez, Big Hero 6) Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen, MCU)

Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge, Agents of SHIELD) Missandei (Nathalie Emanuel, Game of Thrones) Ami Mizuno (various, Sailor Moon) Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde)

Knives Chau (Ellen Wong, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World) Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly, Warehouse 13) Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) Christine Daaé (Emmy Rossum, The Phantom of the Opera)

Elphaba Thropp (Idina Menzel, Wicked) Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki, Agents of SHIELD) Gogo Tomago (Jamie Chung, Big Hero 6) River Tam (Summer Glau, Firefly)

Claudia Donovan (Allison Scagliotti, Warehouse 13) Shireen Baratheon (Kerry Ingram, Game of Thrones) Raina (Ruth Negga, Agents of SHIELD) Nora Gainesborough (Lucy Griffiths, True Blood)

Jane Foster (Natalie Portman, Thor films)   Cassandra Clilian (Lindy Booth, The Librarians)   Cassandra Cain (DC comics) •  Rey (Daisy Ridley, Star Wars)

Idea for season 5 (crosses fingers)

Let’s say Virtual Ward is uploaded into a LMD. Ward 2.0 is accepted by the group and despite the fact he has Ward’s face, the team knows he’s nothing like the real Ward.

So in season 5, Bionic Ward learns what his real-life counterpart did and vows to make up for any wrongdoings that Real Ward committed. He knows that, technically, he didn’t do anything Real Ward did but he still feels responsible.

THEN, here’s where it gets crazy. Robbie Reyes returns from hell and says that Legion (the Marvel demon, unrelated to the Fox show) has come to Earth and is seeking the Darkhold. Along with Legion are his henchmen, comprised of people who were also damned for eternity.

And among them is Grant Ward. Real Ward comes back as Demon Ward.

That’s one of the main conflicts of season 5: Bionic Ward vs. Real/Demon Ward. It’d be one of the most comic book-y storylines the show would ever do but it’d be fucking awesome.

Plus, I’m pretty sure Brett Dalton would have a blast fighting himself.

ginny and luna as girlfriends & fwb at hogwarts because i just can’t help myself:

  • luna goes to all ginny’s quidditch teams, lion hat on her head, and makes it roar so loud every time ginny scores a goal. ginny blows kisses & winks to luna before every match, it makes her feel lucky
  • luna’s in all sorts of fringe clubs and organizations too. ginny goes to all of luna’s matches/premieres/etc and cheers as enthusiastically for her gf at this little club as any student does for a quidditch match
  • ginny even makes a little ravenclaw hat for luna’s games, though ginny’s not great at art and she gets really frustrated when her projects go wrong. it’s smaller than the lion hat but it has wings that flap and the eagle noise is super realistic, and luna appreciates the effort so much (she cried when she first saw it). everyone else is very much like, “…..what the fuck?” but who cares
  • luna spends her holidays running around the world searching for mythical creatures, she invites her father and her girl. ginny surpresses her percy-like inclination to denounce it all, and throws herself determinedly into the adventure - they never find a snorkack or humdinger but they do discover a few old artifacts………..luna’s convinced they have Powers. ginny humors her.
  • ginny winning quidditch matches and throwing herself, windswept and sweating and exhilarated, into her gf’s arms in front of everybody
  • luna sometimes cheers against ravenclaw in gryffindor/ravenclaw matches. her housemates are used to how doe-eyed ginny makes her by now though.
  • luna gets ginny, stubborn and set in her ways as she is, to try all sorts of concoctions in the kitchen when ginny visits her on holiday. most of them are pretty good, to everyone’s surprise.
  • speaking of them on holiday: endless sunny days strolling the streets/fields around the burrow and the rook, soaking up the nature, telling each other stories - some true, some fabricated…..ginny enchants the flower petals caught in the wind to dance around them; luna threads daisies into both their braids.
  • meeting the family!!!! some of the weasleys are confused about luna, but they think shes sweet and funny and lovely. xenophilius thinks ginny’s hard-headed but brave, and he loves how she dotes on luna and looks at her with stars in her eyes.
  • ginny sneaks out of the tower most nights, she and luna take moonlit walks around the dark grounds, hand in hand, talking about the stars (it doesnt matter that ginny’s failing astronomy and most of luna’s mythology is made up)

credit to @ginnnyweasleys for coming up with these with me :))) iconic sport gay and art gay girlfriends for life!

Maybe this is just me but I think Iron Fist and Ghost Rider were introduced in the wrong areas of the MCU. Iron Fist should’ve been introduced in “Agents of SHIELD” while Ghost Rider should’ve been in Netflix.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m fine with where they ended up. But personally, I think Danny fits SHIELD’s tone better while Robbie fits Netflix’s.

Danny’s character and backstory alone makes you think of goofy, comic book shit. He’s got a glowing fist of energy, he was raised by monks in an ancient, mythical city, he’s the heir to a massive corporation, etc., etc. Plus, Danny is just the kind of character you’d see on AoS. He’s light-hearted, has a big heart, and you get the feeling that he’d be the type of person to say corny jokes here and there. One of my main problems of the Iron Fist show is that the show’s approach to the character was wrong. Going for the “grounded, realistic” approach just doesn’t work because a character like Iron Fist SHOULD be loud and goofy. He’s the one instance where it’d be fine if the show was more like SHIELD, with all of its loud, pulpy, comic book action.

Meanwhile, Robbie Reyes would fit perfectly against guys like Daredevil and the Punisher. Yes, he also has a bizarre and colorful background. But the character in general fits the dark tone of Netflix MCU. He’s dark, brooding, has a depressing backstory, is known for being extremely violent, has questionable morals, etc., etc.. Although AoS did make it work with GR, he never truly fit on the show. You always had this feeling that he should be on a different program, one that allows him the freedom to be extremely violent and dark. And the times that he IS violent on AoS (like when he rips the Neo-Nazis apart), it sticks out like a sore thumb because the rest of the show isn’t like that. So with GR, AoS had a bit of an identity crisis. Did it want to remain a funny, quippy, cable superhero TV series or did it want to replicate the grounded, dark nature of its Netflix siblings?

Just imagine if these two guys were switched around. Instead of GR, the first third of AoS season 4 would be titled “Iron Fist” while Robbie took over as the fourth Defender. I don’t know, I think it would’ve worked better.

Leia Organa // Collage

General Kenobi. Years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars. Now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire. I regret that I am unable to present my father’s request to you in person, but my ship has fallen under attack, and I’m afraid my mission to bring you to Alderaan has failed. I have placed information vital to the survival of the Rebellion into the memory systems of this R2 unit. My father will know how to retrieve it. You must see this droid safely delivered to him on Alderaan. This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.”
