sounds good feels good:lilac, the sound of the ocean, silver coins, paint canvases, cloudy days, willow trees, soft pillows, speeding down the highway, skyscrapers, paying in change, laughing til you cry, deep colored sunsets, sprinklers
youngblood: hickeys, full moons, crowded clubs, vodka shots, cartilage piercings, black eyeliner, loud bass booming through speakers, heartburn, the lump in your throat before you cry, high heels, the smell of cigarettes, broken mirrors
Okay! Here’s part two - I was a little bit rushed today, since I have a lot of uni work to catch up on, but I really wanted to post this one. It came out pretty long too - sorry! I hope it’s okay! Please let me know what you think!
Water splashed up against the tub as I
shifted, reaching for my glass of wine. I sighed as I settled back into the
warm water, watching as the glittery liquid swirled around my knees. After two
long days of non-stop photoshoots and interviews with the boys, I was
exhausted. Since this part of the tour was mostly just to introduce and promote
the new 5SOS album, we didn’t exactly have a big team of people. So it was
mostly just Andy, myself, and a few other people who worked on the set,
dragging the heavy lighting equipment around and setting up the cameras.
Normally, we just filmed the interviews,
and clipped stills from that for any promo releases. But, after the photos the
we posted – the ones I took a few nights ago – the Promo Team seemed to have
decided we needed more candid, traditionally photographed shots. Which was fine
– except Andy was pretty much
in-charge of making sure the filming team got the right angles. Which left me with the job of taking the photos.
And although I’d accompanied Andy to lots
of interviews, I’d never been left entirely on my own to decide which photos to
take, which opportunities to let slip by and which to grab. Hell, I didn’t even
know which boy to photograph – with
them all busy play whatever new game the interviewer introduced. It didn’t help
that the only boy I wanted to
photograph was the tallest, curly-haired boy with the adorable laugh.
I sighed, sinking further into the water,
trying not to think too much about
a concept: a 5sos concert on the beach, and just when the sun is setting, they play outerspace/carry on. when outerspace finishes, just like the pause in the song itself, we watch the sun finish setting and just listen to the waves crashing against the shore and when it finally sets, carry on starts.
