“I told you that I owed you. I never said when we could talk about it.”
At the brink of your literacy period, first period, was the infamous blonde with ocean eyes. Luke had sat across from you on the oak wood table, his hands planted nicely on the glossed object. His hair was curly, as usual, with locks of gold shining from the ceiling lights. He was wearing a slightly ripped Blink-182 shirt with the usual black skinny jeans and converse. He stared at you curiously, like he’s never seen you before.
a/n: it’s almost 1am and I had this idea in my head for the entire day. But i keep getting distracted by a fly. So enjoy my first imagine and let me know what you think!
prompt: your friends send you out to get them coffee on a Friday and you bump into a tall boy with the most beautiful eyes.
!! Y/N= Your Name !!
send me requests and other stuff I should write about! enjoy❣
“Y/N!!” yelled my friend Connor. I groaned and got up from my position on my bed. You see, I recently have been living in LA for the past year. Over time, my friends occasionally come to visit me and my best friend or to just eat anything they find in the fridge.
“Yes? You interrupted a really important task that I was doing.” I said and sighed as I looked up to my friend and the rest of the group on the couch. There were about six of us and we were all great friends and everyone got along. Connor raised his eyebrow at me and I did the same.
“What was the important task?” He asked and stared right at me.
“Finishing Riverdale on Netflix.” I mumbled and looked at my slippers. He snapped his fingers and chuckled.
“And I was right, you were not being productive at all today. I have an idea.” You looked up and tilted your head at what it could be. You groaned and looked around for support.
“What is it?” You asked and bit your lip. He smiled and did jazz hands.
“You are going to get us coffee because we are crazy tired!” He said with sarcasm and gave you a sweet smile. You sighed again and shrugged.
“Honestly better than doing something stupid.” You mumbled more to yourself but everyone heard.
“What did you think we were going to make you do?” “Nothing- let’s drop it.” you said and grabbed your red hoodie and slipped it on along with a pair of red converse. You were wearing leggings and an over sized shirt from the thrift shop you recently got. You got your phone and saw Connor had already sent you a text of what everyone wanted.
You walked down the street to the cafe on the corner and entered, as you entered a small ding was heard. You walked up to the counter and gave the young man your order. He looked iffy on some occasions, no sir not all those coffees are for me. You stepped to the side once your order was taken and got your phone out. You scrolled through your twitter, rt’ing & liking tweets here and there.
Once your name was called, you put your phone in your pocket and went to retrieve your order. You thanked the young lady and held the bag in one hand and the other holding any baked goodies. As you slowly backed up, to make sure you would hit nobody.. you were proven wrong. You quickly turned around only to be faced with a clothed chest and some stranger’s hands on both of your shoulders. You froze in your spot and let out a breathe of air, the coffees were unharmed. Then, a strong Australian accent spoke up.
“Woah darling, you need to watch where you are heading. Wouldn’t want anything happen to beverages, now would we?” He spoke in a thick accent. You gulped and looked up to finally meet his expression. Your mouth quickly formed an O shape and you had no words.
You have the most beautiful blue eyes, I have ever seen. You thought to yourself until you heard a chuckle coming from him. Crap, did you just say that aloud.
“Thank you love, I must say I really like your (eye color) eyes.” He said with a light shade of pink now resting on his cheeks. You giggled as you looked at him and smiled.Y/N, don’t forget why you are here. To get coffee not to embarrass yourself in front of a cute boy. You send him a polite smile and coughed.
“I should really head home, have a bunch of roommates to feed. As you can tell, by the bags I am carrying.” You said with a chuckle and started to head for the door. He nodded and put his sunglasses in his back pocket
He quickly walked over and opened the door for you. “Any chance I will see you again?” He asked with a smirk on his face but you knew he was nervous.
“Only if you let me add my phone number into your phone.’’ You said smoothly and patted yourself on the back mentally. Good one Y/N. He rushed to record your phone number and after he did, he let you go. You walked all the way to the apartment and quickly opened the door. All of your friends stared at you until Amber spoke up.
“ What took you so long? Did you get lost on heading to the corner?” She spoke sarcastically and helped you unload the bags on the coffee table. Everyone grabbed what they ordered and went to their usual seating.
“Let me guess, it was a boy.’’ Connor said as he sat next to me on the small sofa and smirked. I shook my head and looked at him straight in the eye.
“Not just any boy, he had pretty baby blue eyes.”
let me know if you would like a part two. I will probably write a part two but yea. I shall go to sleep, so goodnight everyone.
oo girl can you do one where ash decides to make you dinner and treats you with so many things and right at 12:00 am he proposes? Your writing is amazing😍💙👌
Yes of course! And thank you for saying that about my writing, it was so sweet.
I came home from a hard day at work late. I would usually get down and seven but I didn’t arrive home until eight. All I wanted was to curl up in bed with Ashton and sleep the night away. Sighing, I walked up to our home door and opened it. When I walked in, the kitchen was right there, and dark. It was candlelit with a home made meal sat on the table. I dropped my things off and looked around the room.
“Ashton?” I called, “What is all of this?” He came out wearing a nice button up shirt and his skinny jeans. “I made you dinner. I figured after work you’d like a nice evening to relax and enjoy yourself.” He smiled and pulled out a chair for me to sit on.
I smiled at him and took the seat. “Thanks Ash, that’s super sweet of you. And sorry I was late home, I got held up at work.” I said as he sat down next to me and served out the food. “It’s fine, don’t worry about anything tonight.”
He prepared steak, mashed potatoes, mac'n'cheese, and bought some sparkling apple cider. We ate and talked about each of our days until it was about 9:15. “Thank you Ash so much for this wonderful dinner. I’ll clean up now and you can head to bed if you’d like?“ I offered and started to put the dishes in the sink before he came up and grabbed my arm to stop me.
"No, no babe, I got this, just go sit in the living room, because I’m not finished yet.” He said as I stared at him in confusion. “Ok.” I said uneasily. I sat down on the living room couch and waited for Ashton to come in too. When he came in, he told me to close my eyes so he could get something.
I closed my eyes hesitantly and waited for him to come back. “Ok, Y/n, you can open your eyes now.” He said gently as I slowly opened my eyes. I gasped as I saw a bouquet of flowers in his hand and two tickets to the new All Time Low concert.
“Ashton, this is so amazing I said grabbing the flowers to smell them. I stared at the tickets and set the flowers down. I pulled him into a hug and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Thanks Ash, this was beautiful.” I murmured into his skin. I pulled away and sat back down on the couch.
“Come on, let’s just watch a movie babe.” He sat down next to me and put a movie in. It was late, around 10:30 when we got settled with popcorn, and were all cuddled up. We played the movie and right before midnight, he hit pause and got up.
“Ash, where are you going?” I asked when he stood up. “I’ll be right back I have to get something.” He said as he raced up the steps. When he came back down, he got on one knee and looked up at me. I looked over to the clock and it read 11:59.
“Y/n, I’ve had an amazing three years with you being your boyfriend. I love you so much, and I never want to leave you. You are my favorite thing to wake up to and the only thing I dream about when I go to sleep. You know exactly how to make me feel better when I’m down and you’re so kind to everyone you know. I love you, and you love me, so, Y/n, will you marry me?”
Right then, at exactly midnight, Ashton and I were engaged. We were happy, and we were together. Just like we would be for the rest of our lives.
But seriously when someone says “Hey you should listen to this song, I think you’ll really like it” you totally should. Because even if you don’t like it, the song means something to them, and they care enough to share it with you.
