there’s all this symbolism about the “angel” and “devil” on your shoulder for your conscience, and this is evident here: jack starts on one side of rhys, telling him that he should trust jack to get them out of here alive, but then moves to the other side to add “oh, but if you want, we can kill people”. which kinda means that jack is trying to be both the angel and the devil — so this could just be seen as a step towards him trying to take over rhys’ entire conscience altogether. idk. maybe i’m reading too much into this. what i’m trying to say is, nice staging, telltale games.
