Good Morning from Scotland

Snow and Sunrise - Smailholm Tower, Scottish Borders by Steven Marshall
Via Flickr:
A run of cold days, combined with some late spring snow created a winter foreground to this picture of Smailholm Tower being painted by the golden rays of the first light of the day. Located near Kelso, this peel tower was built in the 15th century or early 16th century by the Pringle family to provide them with protection from sporadic English raids.
