lovers of the sun

Berena: Sun & Moon

“You know how the moon only glows because it’s reflecting off of the sun? Well that’s me with her. She’s my sun, and I only shine, because she’s there.”

Talk poetic to me. In the last poem when she says "and the sun at your feet", what does she meant? :)

[we are talking about ‘s t a r m a n’]

She’s the sun.

Fandom has this general headcanon that Jackie is seen as the sun/sunshine by Hyde. He relates day’s light and warmth with her: as a person, his lover, a friend, all of Jackie is like the sun. As it light your every moment, it also burns you in its most cruel ones. Yes, she’s like the sun.

So in the poem, Jackie talks about Hyde using astrology images. He is her entire universe, all the stars and the answers are in him. He has the moon in his eyes and the galaxies on his back, and when he kisses her, something new is born in a explosion, like the big-bang.

Jackie is in love with him, he has the sun at his feet.

Move on, leave, run away, escape this place… but don’t forget about me, about us, about this town. Always remember where you come from so you can appreciate how far you’ve come.

You claim to love her, inside and out, but the only time you call her beautiful is when it’s 3 in the morning and I’ve already turned you down.
