I am a huge fan of working with whats in your closet and buying a piece (or two) to update what you already have. I also love mixing and matching prints and textures. Of course you already know I love body con and more fitted styles that really show off my shape. It’s no secret pencil skirts are of one of my absolute favorites and I need more of them in my life. Peplum for me can be hit or miss but this top fit so well and I loved the texture so it was a must have.

I’m also loving Sam Edelman shoes right now. It’s really hard for me to find a comfortable, supportive and chic shoe that’s high enough but not too high (3" is perfect) and the Okala ankle strap pumps are a treat.

OUTFIT DETAILS:  Top - INC MACYS, Skirt - SANCTUARY (Nordstrom) Shoes - Sam Edelman (my favs! so comfy and cute, I have two pairs now!) Belt & Bracelet - Lane Bryant, Clutch - Top Shop.

I’m kind of embarrassed to say that this is the first time I’ve tried a dress from IGIGI. I’m a huge fan of wrap dresses and I’ve always loved IGIGI’s prints but I’d never tried one until now. Sometimes you just need to try something different and this was the perfect reminder for me to explore new brands. IGIGI nailed this dress and the fit is on point! And, in case you can’t tell by now, I have a favorite pair of white shoes for this season that are from Banana Republic….

Until next time xx - Lovely in LA

Did you know that junior brand Bar III at Macy’s now carries up to a size XXL? I was thrilled when I discovered this and love that more mainstream retailers are now offering a few larger size options. If your local store doesn’t have it (and some may not grrrr..thats for another post) you can check out the options online. Let me know your thoughts and what brands you wish carried larger sizing options.

So if you are like me (wear a size 10 or above shoe) you know how hard it can be to find cute shoes in your size! I remember those days of going to department stores and finding a great shoe, only to be told they don’t have it in my size. GRRRR! In comes Barefoot Tess to save the day! They specialize in sizes 10 and above and  it gets better…They do collaborations with some of my favorite brands like Dolce Vita, Steve Madden and Jeffrey Campbell to name a few! Barefoot Tess even creates their own shoe line full of modern and chic styles.

For a limited time, they have offered Lovelyinla readers a code for an additional 60% off sale items. Enter LOVELYINLA at checkout to take advantage of the discount.  I’d love to know what you think!
