First look at Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, which stars a whole load of peopleand then some—that you probably love, and premieres on July 31st with eight episodes.

The series will act as a prequel to Michael Showalter and David Wain’s 2001 film, and it takes place on the first day of camp, back in 1981.

“In real life we’re fifteen years older but in the show we’re playing two months younger,” said Wain, while Showalter added that “[we] thought it was funny that in the original [we] played a bunch of thirty year olds playing teenagers. Now we’re in our forties and our characters are even younger.”
