My company just LOVES to do fundraising events. I swear, that they get fucking hard-on for them. Like, I'm glad my company is trying to make a difference, but we don't need to have 3 fundraisers going on at once. We are literally losing customers over the fact that we constantly ask for donations and we get in trouble for - not asking - for chasing the customers away - for focusing too heavily on only one of the fundraisers. I almost want to pose as a customer and bitch to corporate about this.
I think it says a lot about our society that charity chases people away. Now I’m even more depressed since the old man with the books and need to mix myself another sour smirnoff with lemonade. -Abby
