louis speaking

he’s gonna start reciting a poem any minute.

literally tho all arguments we’ve ever seen between louis and paps (get a fooking job you fooking loosah; have some respect for a child; you’ve got your fucking photo now fuck off; and now this lax thing) have occurred not because the pap was bothering louis personally but because they were harassing people he was with like his gf, his son, his family or his friends and i think that says a lot about how louis recognises the inevitability of paps in his life but cannot and will not stand for them bothering or harassing those close to him and how he will defend those he loves from that harassment

louis voice is so??? unique?? like maybe he can’t do the crazy riffs or runs that the other boys can do but he can put so much emotion into his voice that you can tell exactly what feel the song has if it’s a ballad or a rockier song or like jho just a party bop that still had crazy amounts of emotion in it bc his voice lets u know!! he can do that thing where he can crack his voice on purpose which adds so much depth to a song that could stay pretty one level without it..his voice can do SO MANY things that i don’t think any other artist can and i can’t wait for a full ass A L B U M where we get to hear him really explore what he can do

yep! i think it's important that people remember that while louis could have been speaking honestly about his insecurities and hardships, the reporter and magazine had a clear underdog angle that they wanted to sell. just like the rolling stone article with harry was all about him shedding his boyband image and becoming a rightful solo rock star.

Yes exactly. I have no doubt that Louis has faced hardships, or how much his mom means to him, or that he’s often felt like the under dog in the band and has insecurities. But that isn’t all he is and it isn’t the whole story.

i don’t think anyone here is misunderstanding /why/ savan would have been annoyed at the time by louis speaking up and basically getting him kicked out. it’s the fact that he never once in that interview gave louis the credit he deserved. he wouldn’t even use his fucking name. he didn’t give him one ounce of respect throughout the entire thing. yeah of course he can reflect on his feelings at the time, but he can say “hey i was wrong” which he did and then follow that up with “and louis had every right to do what he did and he has proved himself time and time again to be a smart businessman and talented songwriter”… people aren’t pissed off because savan felt jilted at the time or that he was bitter over louis getting the better of him /at the time/. people are pissed off because he continued to disrespect him and put him down despite admitting he was in the wrong.
