Finished this sweater at the end of last year, but forgot to post photos! I made this Icelandic sweater from Álafoss lopi, and I have to say, I love that yarn! So quick and nice to knit. I made this for my little brother, and he was very happy with it. Now I’m actually knitting this same pattern for a friend of mine, same colours, just a little smaller size.

Ps. Do you recognise the pattern? A certain famous doctor, whose best friend happens to be a detective, wore it in a christmas episode… ;)

I finished my lopapeysa, which means selfies. It’s a pattern by Ysolda Teague (Strokkur) and it’s knit with 100% Ístex Létt-Lopi. It took me a little over two months to finish.

a lopapeysa is an Icelandic jumper, recognised by the decorative design on the yoke, and traditionally knit with Lopi, which is wool from Icelandic sheep. It’s a very coarse, warm yarn, and it’s a dream to work with.
