looking forward to getting seiya back

What are your thoughts on the new starlights for sera myu this year?

Hello! I feel like I should preface this by saying my opinion is solely based on that one visual we got last week, so it’s a very limited superficial observation.

Anyway… I’m not really feeling it. The only one who looks like the character is Yaten. i’m happy Riona is coming back, but I don’t know why she poses more like Hawk’s Eye than Taiki there. And Seiya looks so young!! Well, the actress is young, but you know what I mean. I’m a bit sad cos I was really looking forward to seeing Seiya in the new myu. Also, I kinda prefer black Starlights uniform than the metallic navy blue because I think they’re cooler.

If you ask me who my dream Seiya is… since last year I’ve been lowkey hoping it would be Akira (from Disacode). She is also a singer like Seiya. And as fate would have it, Akira seemed to get along pretty well with Shuu and Sayaka during Houston. The dynamic between their Seiya vs Haruka-Michiru would have been amusing to watch.

That being said, when UNV released the first outers visual and Uranep promo video back in 2015, I wasn’t really taken by Shuu Uranus either. Same with Chihiro Tiger’s Eye last year. And I couldn’t have been more wrong cos now I’m such a big fangirlTM of them both. The new myu hasn’t disappointed me once with their casting so far, so I’m cautiously optimistic and hopeful.

I know this is full of whining but I’m really looking forward to LMF!

Saito Soma, Tanezaki Atsumi and more megane Ishikawa Kaito.

Saito is having his debut next season with Twelve in Zankyou and also as the main character Tatsumi in Akame ga Kill. He is currently voicing Yamaguchi in Haikyuu!! and judging from this event, he seems to have a very good relationship with his colleague Ishikawa-san who was constantly joking around with him.

Tanezaki is also having her first main role as Lisa in Zankyou, previously voicing Natsume in Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and we heard her this year as the adorable but sadistic Karashi in Hoozuki no Reitetsu. She’s inexperienced at seiyuu events and was very shy, having trouble to express herself but she still made a big effort in doing her best!

Ishikawa debuted last year as Ledo in Suisei no Gargantia and since then he hasn’t stopped! With quite a few roles behind his back, he is now getting more popular due to voicing Kageyama in Haikyuu!! and has become the new voice for Seiya in the recent CGi Saint Seiya movie.

Looking forward to their performances in this new noitamina show!
