I know it’s a minor silly thing, but it’s beginning to annoy me how when people do photosets or fan casting of Charlie Weasley he never looks “ stocky” or “very freckly”; it’s always lean, long faced red-head models, or actors with no freckles in sight. People go on rants about movie Harry not having green eyes, or Hermione not having bushy

(yeah, that’s a redhead richard madden. one of the first choices that appeared for fancast!charlie)
how to make matching backgrounds for character aesthetics
I have had a lot of requests lately about how I make my character aesthetics. So here is a brief explanation of my process. To do this type of edit all you need is just basic editing skills and an original image that
has an light/white-ish background. This is my first tutorial so sorry if things aren’t super clear. Please message me if you have any questions!
If you’re asking me this specifically, “Does Raditz look better as a girl…” , look at how cute the boots and gloves are on her. If you ask me, Raditz was born in the wrong body altogether but that’s just me, judge for yourselves.
Oh, and this might come up, Namekians are genderless and Mr piccolo is no exception…Although I suppose he could go by Ms Piccolo if he wanted to. He can do as he pleases, really.
I’ve been drawing these instead of other things I SHOULD to be doing so I might not post any more of them for a little bit. Big huge giant thanks everyone who looks at these and reblogs, it’s nice to know this one thought I got carried away with one day has so many people interested, too.
SUMMARY: As if returning home penniless and heartbroken isn’t bad enough, the last thing Emma needs is for her mom to get her a job – and for her future boss to pull her out of the harbor before she even knows his name. But Killian Jones has never been afraid of the water…
Oh, look, yet another time I meant to write a one shot and it got completely out of hand. Hope you like it @32variations
I love the photosets @lenfaz made for this (yep, there’s five different ones) and am so happy she offered when she heard about this project! And a big thank you to @evil–isnt–born for beta duties, even if it did earn her odd looks at Starbucks.
Being back in Storybrooke is familiar and it should be comforting, but everywhere Emma Swan looks, she sees the bad choices that landed her in this mess.
Living with her parents.
Twenty-five and starting completely over.
If only she could go back in time and tell her eighteen year old self that dropping out of college to follow her boyfriend’s band around the country was a terrible idea; that said boyfriend would develop a drug problem, that he would begin stealing to fund his addiction, and that one day she would find herself picking up a payphone – a freaking payphone – to call her father in tears from a truck stop in the middle of Texas with a rapidly swelling dose of reality on her face.
Just over twenty-four hours later, she’s back in her father’s beat up pickup, the scent of cracked leather and gasoline wrapping around her like a childhood blanket. It’s a cool afternoon in Maine, and after the Texas heat, she’s shivering before they’ve even left the airport despite it still – technically – being summer.
And like nothing ever changed, David reaches into the narrow backseat and silently offers her his old flannel coat, his scent mingling with wood smoke on the worn sheepskin lining. Burrowed into the coat, the soft plaid under her nose, it almost seems like maybe coming home is a good idea.
Before her mother’s pursed lips and thinly veiled judgments.
Before the not-so-subtle hints that Emma got herself into this mess and it’s time to be an adult.
Before the humiliating announcement that Mary Margaret called in a favor and got Emma a job before the week is out.
The job is the last straw, and the end of that conversation sees Emma down by the harbor, desperate for a bit of solitude and peace. Her eyes fall shut as she steps onto the dock, the sun warm on her skin. Summer’s lazy days are fading into the golden haze of fall, the brine of the ocean beyond the harbor carrying on the faint breeze. Soon she’ll be able to see her breath like clouds of smoke puffing out in front of her with every step she takes, and the brilliantly bright sun she’s grown accustomed to several latitudes south will give way to the watery, muted light of winter in Maine.
Your photos getting labeled as nsfw really pisses me off. I run a true crime blog and I've got pics of corpses on my Tumblr yet nothing of mine has ever been flagged as nsfw. Really shows you what this site's priorities are :/
Wow… looks like naked skin, even if it’s just bare arms, is part of what’s triggering them. But I made a draft for a Madame Giry photoset, and even if it’s just in drafts, they’ve labeled it NSFW. I’m like ????
I’ve emailed them repeatedly about this, trying to get an answer as to what make them (or their algorithm) label things as NSFW. But no reply so far. Maybe I should start a crime blog instead…
Hey, in your post of a photoset with a pic of made-over Nicky with a pic of Lorna with cartons of something in her hands under it, I never saw that scene with Lorna in the show, I even paused it when it was just Nicky onscreen and watched carefully, but it just went to Vauseman...I don't remember Lorna with those things in any other point of the show, unless it's a deleted scene?
I don’t think it’s a deleted scene, I think it’s just for the still. There’s many which look like they’re set in specific familiar scenes, but I don’t think they’re anything deleted.
1. Some people need to realize that calling socially aware human beings “social justice warriors” IN NO WAY becomes an insult. Buddy, we LIKE the name because hell yeah, we’ll fight tooth and nail to ensure someone else’s life isn’t ruined by injustice or plain ignorance. My condolences to you for your inability to even wield sarcasm properly, much less my warrior’s sword.
2. I’m utterly perplexed by those who proudly claim to be “anti-sjw.” Are you saying you’re against those who passionately care about social justice…or are you just anti-humanity in general? It’s funny because you, in all your fiery anti-sjw glory, are still exercising rights and privileges that were probably secured by a real-life sjw. Ain’t life grand.
3. I have a Bo Burnham photoset floating around with quite a lot of notes. My caption was “How white male privilege works.” A significant number of blogs have gone on to remark on my staggering lack of comedic comprehension, my inherent sexism because I apparently think bad things don’t happen to men, etc.
A) I physically made the photoset myself which means I watched his show which means I probably understand comedy which means I might even be a Bo Burnham fan and simply added a caption to something he himself made obvious because ooooooh, he’s socially aware dontcha know.
B) Males (or white males) are absolutely not impervious to the offenses listed in the photoset. No one is claiming that. What I highlighted is that the white male enjoys the privilege of being least concerned about such things because in the history of the world, the white male has wreaked the most havoc and implemented arguably the most damaging institutions.
C) Sorry for making this post look like a physics exam.
“You have drinks, buddies, music—great! But in the last two or three years, I go to a club and I kind of wish I was home. I want to get married, though. I want children. To me that’s the ultimate thing. When you’re old and on your death bed, looking back at your life it’s not going to be the films you’ve made or what you’ve accomplished, it’s the relationships you have. You’re survived by things that matter—the people you love and those who love you back.”
Thank! Vid and I wanted the Pokemon aesthetic to be consistent, so it only made sense to use a Pokemon-style menu for it. Hopefully it’s not too complicated to follow once Pokes start getting eliminated?
Believe it or not, this is a real thing Cutiefly can do. “It feeds on the nectar and pollen of flowers. Because it’s able to sense auras, it can identify which flowers are about to bloom. | Myriads of Cutiefly flutter above the heads of people who have auras resembling those of flowers.”

She’s so cute
