look at the size of the nexus

What do you think the Cluster would have looked like if it had taken form?

I’m so glad you asked!!!

I’ve seen a couple of models on it that give it a roughly humanoid form, which I’ve always thought was kinda cheap. There was something really otherworldly and awe-inspiring about the Cluster when we saw just its gem.

I do like the idea that we could very well get to see it just by teleporting the bubble outside of the Earth.

My mental image is that it would make a form that’s shaped kind of like a spiral galaxy? There’s a rough “nexus” where the gem is, and the gem sticks out both top and bottom because of its size, but what branches out from the rest of the core are these huge tendrils that at a closer look are composed entirely of a massive number of normal-sized hands. It also has a huge number of eyes that it can open on any viable surface on its body. So getting the Cluster’s attention it’d just bring over a bunch of hands and a bunch of eyes to point at you, since it doesn’t have a face.

Its form has a consistent color that’s this kind of shimmery, opalescent purple-white-blue-gold depending on angle and lighting because of how Steven helped it intercommunicate. I don’t think it’d have any particular gem powers, but it’s just incredibly strong. And huge. Like, if it’s out in Earth’s orbit it could just pull an arm out and poke the surface of the planet.

Also @birdbrainweird had the single best idea that since it’d be big enough, it would have its own gravity and accumulate like… an asteroid belt. That it can throw at people who upset it.

Kind of in love with your deaged Obi-Wan and Sith Qui-Gon :D Any chance Anakin will stumble across and just be like, "Holy kriff. What???"

Anakin growled and used the Force to pull a desk from the wall and slam it into the remaining droids pinning them down, glaring menacingly at the broken mechs before getting up and nodding to Quinlan.

“Okay, from what they managed to find out, Obi-Wan is suppose to be here by what little they managed to get from the databanks. He’s never far from Scarvos side honestly and Scarvos is reported to have a high level of possession in the matter of who gets to be around him.” It had taken months to track down any information about his former master at all.

Senator Palpatine had finally managed to scrounge up some from a agent of his and had sent it Anakin’s way, cautioning the knight to be careful.

Vos grumbled and looked around. “I can’t feel him here now though…or Scarvos for that matter. Only traces and remains of them and someone I think is that Zebrak sith.”

Anakin cursed. “Okay, then we look for clues to where they might have taken him?”

Quinlan sighed but nodded. “Lets find where they kept Obi-Wan and see if we can pull any recordings from this place, there’s cameras most places here.” He gestured to one in the hall, small but obvious yet to their eyes.

Anakin glowered at it before following the Force to where Obi-Wan’s presence felt the strongest, the door swishing open after a bit he hacked the door open. Then he froze, staring into the room.

It was large, in light blue and white with a window that was still open and the closet door left ajar in the haste to leave. There was a bed, a desk with a computer, chair, a coms terminal and a small table with sitting pillows around and a empty teacup.

But what struck him the most was the amount of toys in the room and the small sized clothes he could spot both on the floor and in the closet.

“Vos…this looks like a child’s room.” He growled quietly. “And not a prisoner room either.” The Kiffar master looked around then nodded, moving into the room and towards the bed, hesitantly reaching for one of the stuffed toys, a nexus.

Anakin moved to the data terminal, knowing he could hack the cameras from it.

“…Skywalker, can you get the security images from this room, go back a few days?” The other knight sounded odd and Anakin glanced over his shoulder at the other man, giving a small frown at the look on his face. “I…yes? Want me to get that first?” He noted the shock leaking into the Force.

“Please.” Quinlan said hoarsely, moving beside the other with the stuffed toy in hand.

Anakin shot him a baffled look, wondering what the other had seen with his skills before working his way through the codes until he had the footage of the room. And promptly he understood what had the other so shocked.

There, on the bed, sat a redheaded child, slowly levitating a ball and moving it around. He had to be around seven or so, dressed up in a nice blue tunic, black leggins and soft looking boots, a small stubby padawan braid stuck out behind his right ear though his hair wasn’t cut quite as short as the traditional cut, instead layered in soft waves.

“…There’s not a chance that Obi-Wan has some long lost relative, is there?” Anakin asked weakly as the child continued floating the ball and then raising a second one, his face frowning in concentration.

“No…what did Qui-Gon DO to him?” Quinlan whispered.

There was a shuffle and the balls dropped suddenly as the door opened, Qui-Gon himself striding into the room. The child, Obi-Wan, jumped to his feet and ran to him, quickly being picked up by the sith who chuckled warmly. “I see you missed me.”

“Course I did master, Ventress and Maul are fun but you’re better.” The child beamed.

A slightly smug look crossed the sith’s face before he squeezed Obi-Wan carefully to him. “I do hope you behaved for them, you know how Dooku hates it when Ventress complains to him.”

“…I may have swiched her lotions out with dye?”

“Indeed, what kind of dye little one?” Qui-Gon looked more amused then angry.

“…A long lasting one…in yellow?”

“…Lets go see Ventress!” Qui-Gon rumbled, laughing as he left the child’s room with Obi-Wan still on his hip.

What.the.kriff?” Anakin hissed, eyes wide.

“We-we need to report to the council…and pull all the data we can from these banks.” Quinlan managed to get out.

My second mod is now up at Nexus: Trailer Park Red Rocket! Next up is Abernathy Farm!

My goal is to create the illusion of a viable community with its own unique culture and look for every settlement. Red Rocket is the second settlement that I’ve done for this series. Because of its small size and how much the Red Rocket station takes up, there wasn’t too much room left to make an actual town, and since the gas station is so unique I didn’t want to lose that by scrapping it. So, I made Red Rocket into a trading post. The way I envisioned it is that very few people actually live at Red Rocket (though you can still fit 10 settlers there comfortably), preferring to commute to trade in scrap, armor, weapons, and get their Power Armor serviced and repaired. It also serves as a front line of defense against anyone who might invade Sanctuary. There is a bank, clothier, armorer, weaponsmith, general store, pharmacy, bar, public baths, and greenhouse. I wanted to keep a “car” theme for Red Rocket so I turned it into a trailer park. There are several buses and trailers that have been outfitted to house settlers. However, there is no navmeshing, it’s strictly just for looks, but the beds do still count towards the settlement. The settlers just don’t go to sleep on them, and wander around at night instead.

This mod uses the transfer settlements mod.
