It was the monday after that incident happened and you weren’t sure how classes were going to be. You assumed that Taehyung and Hae Rin started dating and you didn’t feel like staying as the third wheel. However, you didn’t have anyone else to go to. After that day with Jungkook, you weren’t sure if it was just a momentarily thing to pass his time that day. So in summary, you were nervous.
“(y/n)! I’m sorry I didn’t text you the whole weekend. I’ve been trying to study really hard for the test coming up.” Taehyung ran up to your side. You looked around and back at him, “Where’s Hae Rin?”
The boy shrugged his shoulders, “Beats me. She’s usually late for first lectures anyway.” He chuckled and you forced a laugh too. “Anyway,” Taehyung started, “I didn’t know you and Jungkook were close? What did y'all do last Friday?”
You shrugged your shoulders while thinking of answer. What were you supposed to say? Lie to your best friend? Tell him the truth?
“Yo earth to (y/n).” You snapped out of your thoughts to see Taehyung who decided to stand in front of you. “Oh sorry I'm… I’m still kinda sleepy.” You gave a tired smile. As much as you liked Taehyung, you weren’t in the mood to talk to him that day and you felt bad about it.
You couldn’t help but feel that he replaced you and you weren’t his priority anymore wen though you two weren’t together. “You know (y/n),” Taehyung sighed while shaking his head, “After knowing you for a year, I can say pretty confidently that I know when you’re not okay. What’s wrong?”
You looked up to see a genuinely concerned look on his face and that just made your walls melt and made you want to open up to him. “It’s just that last Friday—”
“Hey you two!” You winced as you heard her voice. “Oh Hae Rin!” Taehyung greeted the girl cheerfully. “Hey…” You said rather unenthusiastically but she missed the tone you had, and so did Taehyung, for he seemed to have forgotten that you were in a bad mood.
“So there’s this movie that just came out and I was thinking, why don’t we watch it after the test this wednesday?” Hae Rin asked Taehyung and you started to drown out both their voices, looking down at your phone.
Just then, you received a notification.
Jungkook — turn around
Furrowing your eyebrows, you looked behind to see Jungkook with his clique walking to class as well. You smiled at waved at him. “(y/n), want to join us for the movie?” You heard Taehyung call out your name. You glanced at Hae Rin who looked shocked that Taehyung had just invited you and you weren’t stupid, you knew why she had that look on her face. She wanted a movie date with just him. You could feel yourself starting to dislike your closest girl friend but you couldn’t help it.
“It’s fine,” You smiled at Taehyungn, “You guys can enjoy your movie date. I don’t really feel like watching that movie anyway.”
“Really? But I thought you loved the book—”
“Yo (y/n)!” Jungkook’s voice cut Taehyung’s as you looked back to see that his clique had caught up. “Mind if we walk to class with y'all? I mean, we all have the same timetable.” Jungkook smiled at Taehyung who returned it forcefully. “Why not?”
‘What is he doing here’, Taehyung bitterly thought to himself. ’(y/n) never told me she was close to him… She never even mentioned him before. How long have they been close?’ He thought to himself, not realizing that Hae Rin was talking to him.
“Hey Tae? You alright?” Hae Rin repeated herself and he turned to look at her. “I’m sorry, could you repeat what you said?”
Hae Rin smiled, shaking heard head, “I asked if we’re watching the movie this wednesday?”
“Oh what movie?” Jungkook asked. Hae Rin looked at you and gave you cheeky smile that made you knew exactly what she was thinking of. “Hae—” You opened your mouth to stop her but it was too late.
“The latest movie that came out today! Maybe you should join us with (y/n)! Doesn’t that sound good?”
Jungkook looked at you with a smug look on his face and nodded his head at Hae Rin, “Why not?”
So that was how it officially started. Hae Rin excitedly kept calling it a double date and it broke your heart whenever you thought of her dating Taehyung. Little did you know Taehyung was trying to deny that same feeling.
Taehyung started spending more time with Hae Rin to get you off of his mind and you started hanging out with Jungkook and his clique. It wasn’t long till you just stopped hanging out with Taehyung and Hae Rin.
“(y/n)! Got you the sandwich you wanted!” Jimin passed to you the sandwich you tasted at the cafe the other day. “Aw thanks Jimin!” You smiled at your new close friend. Jimin and Yugyeom were sweethearts and they were great company. Of course not forgetting Jungkook. The four of you would meet up in the morning and have breaks together but it was always Jungkook that would walk you to your dorm even though it was still within the college campus.
“Looks like someone is finally going for lectures.” You teased as the two of you walked to your dorm.
“Most probably because I met someone who has such a strong influence on me.” He winked playfully at you.
“Oh really? Who is that amazing person?” You sarcastically replied.
“I kinda forgot her name.” He joked. You frowned, “That’s not very nice now is it?” He laughed and you joined in as well. “But for real, you are a good influence on me.”
“Well I’m flattered to hear that.” You smiled at him.
“Yes?” You tilted your head, waiting for him to continue.
“Do you still like Taehyung?”
Maybe you’ve moved on. Forgotten about him. Maybe you’re having a much better life without him. But no. Your heart still ached at the thought of him being together with Hae Rin and that just confirmed that you still liked him even though you stopped talking to him.
Your silence confirmed his guess and he had a small smile on his face. “Don’t beat yourself up that you still like him okay? It will take time to get over him—”
“What if I don’t want to?” You suddenly asked.
“Don’t want to? What? But (y/n) you know he’s been—”
“Yes but they aren’t official yet… I still can have that hope… Right?” You tried to stay optimistic, looking away as you felt that you were going to tear up.
“(y/n) i’m sorry but you have to face the fact that Taehyung—”
“What if I don’t want to Jungkook? Call me stupid or foolish or pathetic but I still like him even though we aren’t talking anymore! I still like Taehyung and I know it’s stupid, but I do okay?” You snapped at him with tears brimming in your eyes, Jungkook looking taken aback.
“I’m sorry Jungkook.” You apologized, “I’m really sorry… I’ll see you tomorrow.” You muttered and started walking away.
Jungkook sighed, stuffing his hands in his pocket and looking down at the ground. “You go after her. I’m in no position to.” Jungkook spoke out loud and footsteps were heard right after that. Jungkook chuckled bitterly as he looked up to the sky, “To think that I was going to confess after that… How stupid of me to think that she’s moved on.”
“(y/n)!” You heard an all too familiar voice which made you freeze. “T-Tae? What are you doing here?”
“I saw what happened.”
You felt so embarrassed when you found out he heard you confessing that you liked him. “Oh…” You mutttered embarrassingly. “Look—” Taehyung started but stopped momentarily which made you look back up at him. Taehyung saw the hope in your eyes which made his heart break even more. He realised that he liked you. Taehyung liked you. That was all there was to it, right?
“I’m sorry… Hae Rin confessed today and… And I said yes. It was a spur of the moment thing but I felt really happy but now seeing you broken just breaks my heart and I realised I’ve liked you for a long time (y/n). I messed up (y/n), I don’t know how to fix this but I’m really sorry.” Taehyung apologized as he slowly walked up to your to close the gap.
Your grip on your bag strap tightened as you tried your best not to cry. You smiled and shook your head, “No Taehyung it’s fine. You don’t have to say that. I know you like Hae Rin, you’re just feeling guilty about it after hearing what I said earlier. I’m sorry I stopped hanging out with you two. But congrats—”
“No, no, (y/n), I meant it when I said—”
“Taehyung.” Your voice was ice cold but broken at the same time and it shocked him because for all this while of being your friend he has never heard such a heartbreaking tone. “Please stop.”
Taehyung’s smile was long gone as his heart broke seeing you in such a conflicting state. You were sad, hurt, broken, but you wanted to stay strong and hide your vulnerability even in that state and he wanted nothing more but to hug you. But he knew he messed up, for he liked 2 of his closest girl friends at the same time, not realizing that he has loved one of them for a longer period of time.
“I’ll see you two around. Congrats once again Taehyung.” You smiled as you pressed the button, entering the lift that had arrived while you had that conversation with Taehyung.
There you were, lying on your bed, thinking about your day. Tears silently rolled down your cheeks as you thought of the memories you had with Taehyung. Those cafe outings and late night walks during the holidays when you were both at the campus for the holidays. Those movie dates that made you feel like you were having the time of your life even though you were just watching a movie. Those crazy laughing sessions you always had with Taehyung and late night cramming sessions at the cafe. It used to be just the two of you doing those activities.
It used to be so simple and happy.
Then there was Jungkook.
You felt guilty for snapping at your new close friend. He did nothing wrong but you snapped at him and pushed him away when all he wanted to do was help you feel better. Jungkook may have not been there by your side since the beginning but for the time he has been, he has done nothing wrong but be such an amazing person you could rely on and you messed it up. Everything was wrong with Taehyung and Jungkook and you were at a complete lost.
You didn’t know how to face everyone. You couldn’t imagine how classes were going to be like the next day and you were dreading to find out.
“Life used to be so much simpler.” You muttered as you let out a sob, mentally hoping the next day wouldn’t be so bad even though you had to face Jungkook and Taehyung again.
Okay I was expecting to finish up this story in the second part but I realised I really wanted to build up the relationship and tension between the characters so I think there’s going to be a part three if y'all are okay with it?
To be honest idek who is the reader going to end up with I’m just going with my feelings and emotions. Please let me know what you think of part 2 and if you guys want a part 3?

Pairing:Jimin x Reader Genre: Hitman!AU, Fluff, Humor Word Count: 2488 Chapter:5/? Description: “Well,” you say, glancing at the dagger raised in your boyfriend’s hand, to the gun in yours, and finally to the man cowering on his knees between the both of you, sobbing and pleading for his life. “This is awkward.” Author’s Note: Hi I am so terribly sorry for the long wait like there are only 20 people maybe following this fic now but i love all 20 ish of u thanks guys <3 here u goooo
Dark eyes stared back at you, an expression plastered on his face that could only be mirroring yours; his gaze flitted between you and the gun in your hand. “[Name]?”
You stared at the dagger raised in his hand, how his stance was calculated and poised, a cobra ready to strike. Already, you thought you knew what was really happening. “You’re not serious,” you said cautiously. “You’re not here to… to…” you trailed off lamely, gesturing at Geum Min-jun with the barrel of your gun, an action that had him whimpering.
“To kill him?” Jimin probed, voice gentle yet guarded at the same time. He looked at the gun in your hand, and the calm expression you wore as he announced planned murder, and shook his head slowly. “This is the job you won’t tell me about? This is why you’re so secretive?”
You rolled your eyes, pressing one hand to your temple briefly.
I would like to talk about this part. At first when I watch it for the first time, I thought Wang so ran away because of all his brothers’ reaction.
The second time I watch it, I saw it in a different light. When he took of his mask, his siblings were looking at him with disgust/pity and no one dared to look at him again. It was a normal reaction to him, he was used to it. That’s how people treat him for most of his life. Just because of that scar, so many things happened. He was so used to the reaction that he felt like there’s nothing wrong with it, and if you look closely, he smiled a bit.
Until he saw Hae Soo, staring at him openly. Unlike his siblings, Hae Soo stared at him like the scar is no big deal. And that threw him off the grid. His small smile wiped off his face and that’s when he realised that someone is looking at him, staring at him without shame or disgust. To him, it was something new. He wasn’t used to this treatment because no one in Goryeo can accept a scar, especially on the face. Yet, she stared at him like he’s the most beautiful person on Earth.
I think it breaks my heart to see that he felt weird and angry that someone showed him kindness, rather than being angry about the disgusted look people showed him. It just scares him a lot. That’s why he told her after that that he hate her eyes, because what else can he say? He have his ego to protect and he just couldn’t figure out this puzzle piece of a girl. She’s something else and he’s just speechless and angry as to why she’s different. Most of all, he doesn’t understand why she’s not afraid of him when everyone else is, she’s just different, and it confuses him so much to the point where he takes his anger out on Hae Soo.
