I’m an only child, so I’ve been accustomed to spending a lot of time alone.
A family full of cousins and always said to be anti-social as young girl.
But I just needed some time to myself–to play with my imagination and get a breather from all the erratic energy around me.
This judgement made me uncomfortable for a long time and I found myself always trying to play the role of an extrovert.
But time and healing has brought me to oneness with this introvert side of myself.
I rather enjoy my own company.
As the great artist and revolutionist Frida Kahlo once said…
‘I am my own muse, the subject I know best.’
